Hello everyone, Godfrog here and with Halloween coming up I thought it might be fun to have a writing contest. Prices haven't been fully decided as of right now but perhaps it could be voted on? I can't really offer money but I'm sure we can think of something to give the winner. I will be judging but if you would like to help with the judging process just message me in a pm and I will only be select three other judges.

Now onto the Themes of this contest. Just to spice it up a bit I'm going to add a few Templates, just the startings of something and it'll be up to you to turn that into a work of writing for us to enjoy. YOU DON'T HAVE to use any of them if you don't want, but bonus cookies to you if you do.
Template 1: It had started out like any other day, but then everything changed when the killer pumpkins attacked.
Template 2: Man why did people even care about Halloween anyways? Wasn't it just some boring old Holiday for little kids to go around in silly costumes begging for candy? She/he saw no reason to want to celebrate it since she/he was a full grown single adult with no life whatsoever.
Template 3: "Help me! Please someone anyone help me!" begged the she/he as they ran away from the very thing they had thought was just a harmless plant.
Template 4: "Oh dearie's do sit down and let old granny tell you a tale like no other, that will spook the living daylights out of you." the old lady chuckled as she rocked in her rocker.
Okay there now that's out of the way here are the RULES and how to submit your story section.
1. Story must be at LEAST 1,000 words long. Any less then that and it won't qualify.
2. Stories can't be longer than 5,000 words. We are on a time constrict here and since I have NANO in November it will take me time to judge if they are REALLY long.
3. Have fun.
4. No drama please, we are all adults here.
5. Story must be about the holiday in some form. That doesn't mean it has to be dark or grim or even scary. It might be a simple tale of a kid going trick or treating for all I care.
6. Please submit your story to the forum itself so that all judges can read them, be sure they have a TITLE. No need to include your name but the name of your character that you are writing with. Say you writing as a Pikachu, say that so I don't go looking and wondering who wrote this entry.
