This is the world of 2087. Demons and angels have risen and descended from hell and heaven. New creatures have formed, but don't worry, humans still rule this earth with high technology and wit. Humans are after magic users and magic creature to either study or kill. The death list consists of: Demons. Vampires. Wearwolfs, and hybrids. Anything else it either safe or on the study list. In each city there is an army of guards of which storm the city looking for creatures on either list. They recruit angels and other godly creatures into their forces and are determined to kill whatever death creatures wander the cities. The largest city is none other than New Colorado. This city is found at the heart of New America and has the largest and most brute forces on the continent. The government even takes shelter there even though the White House is still up and running. This is the most dangorus city for monsters and also the safest. There are many many secrets in this city. Monsters and demons of all sorts come to this city to hide, even though at any moment a soldier might find them.
You are either a soldier, a citizen, or a monster of this city.
Note: You do not have to follow any of the starters. They are optional.
Soldier starter:
You are paroling the street. It's night, the time when monsters and demons are most active. You have your capsul to trap test subjects in and weapons for killing. You're partner is beside you keeping an eye on the left side of the street. A purple feather lays a few yard ahead. The feather of a half demon half angel. One of the most hunted monsters in the world, and almost gone forever. Do you decide to hunt it? Or leave it to perhaps wreak chaos on the city?
Citizen starter: You watch from your window up above as two soldiers patrol the street below. You are sure that you are safe. You are one of the most rich humans in the city and own quite a few companies. As you watch you can spot movement in an ally. Do you warn the soldiers? Or leave them to fend for themselves against a possible enemy?
Monster starter:
Whatever you are you are hiding in an ally determined to cross to the other side of the street and enter a secret passageway, but two guards are right there studying a half and half's feather. You are about to make a run across the street when a hand grabs you and pulls you deeper into an ally. "Are you crazy?" A appearingly teenage girl whispers. "You're gonna get yourself killed. Can't you see they are armed?" She was short, but had beautiful purple feathered wings folded neatly behind her. Her demon tail dragged on the ground behind her. She had slightly pointed ears and teeth. Her hair was long and orange/red, while her eyes were deep purple.
Can't wait to roleplay with everyone!

No godmodding. Yes my half and half character is powerful but she has one weakness that is common and can kill her.
Do not kill another person's character without permission.
And so on. Only mild cussing. And no sexual themes.

Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
The RP is entirely based around combat and nothing else, such as an arena where nothing else happens.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.

Nice opener, good suggestions Lupus. Gives me a lot of ideas. Never really been into the Demons and Angels shtick... or Vamp and werewolf stuff, but I'm a sucker for cyberpunk-dystopia future. Probably will write up a citizen or soldier if need be and play for that. Really interested in how a society deals after such a chaotic and reality breaking event like different realms opening. Like what was the event called? Rapture? The Flood? I'm not an expert on Christianity lore.
