So I'm new here, and also new to RPing. Kinda. But my name is Lindy, at the time that I'm making this I haven't made any character profiles on here ~buuut~ I have posted a link to my Charahub, where a lot of my character profiles already are. Also - you can catch me at this years NaNoWriMo.
I'm a college student, love art, writing, and language. I'm a former art major (and once I figure out my digital art software I should be making all kinds of goodies). Anyways, since I'm so new hahahaaa I don't really know what to do. But, I've been looking for a good RPing site for Oc's mainly, and hopefully this one fits the bill!

Um... I think so... It's all a bit new for me since I've only kinda done RPing online with friends, but never with a community such as this! So once I get some time I think I'm going to kinda check this place out a bit more ^^ and thanks
Hey man, welcome! I've not heard of CharaHub yet--that sounds really handy.
There's a couple of NaNo chatter things on this site, by the way! One, over here in the SmallTalk forum, and a whole group over here that's just starting to boot up again for the year. I've had to set RP down while prepping for NaNo but sometimes it's fun to mix-and-match if you're pantsing it or need inspiration.
OC RP is my favourite, so I getcha! I find there's a mix of folks, but there should be a nice mix of genres and character types to fit your wants, depending on who's active at the time. The 'Looking for RP' forums are a good first place to check, but there's other options for finding threads, including the 'Find RP' tab off the main site, and browsing groups and characters off the Community tab.

I've used CharaHub before, but I kept forgetting about it and the profiles there are probably incredibly outdated by now.
I also do art--less so writing, at length--and my characters are all OCs. I can't imagine playing a canon character, I'd be worried I'd play them wrong or something...

Thanks! I kinda said it wrong in my original post... I guess what I meant was ocs that aren't in any relation to an existing fandom. But, after looking around, I don't think it should be much of a problem! I've been pretty busy lately, but once I have time I'll look into joining an rp~
