I might just be an old 'golden days of the internet' geezer, but I think that you should never have to share your real name on the internet, at least here where it's a hobby place. We're cool with nicknames.
RP sites can be a little convoluted, and in fact having come from other RP sites to this, I've had a bit of trouble adjusting as well. Please ask questions if you need help or feel a bit stuck, and feel free to lurk the forum or browse through other people's characters for inspiration on how to put your own info together. There are lots of helpful instructionals off the 'Help' tab, too!
