Finally, Halloween! A time for fabulous costumes and wonderful treats! Sariel, himself, enjoyed the fact that he could get cheap sweets around this time. Oh, and the fact that he didn't have to hide his wings for a night! I don't think anyone realizes how annoying that is. Like, okay, imagine wearing a wig every day, while also having really long hair. Now imagine having to constantly take that hair out and put it back in. You always have to mind if any is showing and hope it doesn't give a really awkward bulge and... Yeah. Have fun with that. It's the same as having wings and trying to pretend you're human. And, trust me, the wing bulge is annoying. People keep yelling at you to stop slouching!
Since Sariel didn't technically have a home amongst the humans anymore, he did the next best thing: He went down to the restaurant his friend Dina worked at to give out treats there (because let's be honest: a large man giving out treats at a bus station is going to drive people away).
You know... He really liked kids. How bright and wonderful the world was to them. How everything was filled with magic in their eyes. Their happy, cheery attitudes. For those reasons, Sariel was actually excited to do something with his life, even if it was temporary! While all he really did was let his wings out, Dina did a little more, dressing up in something that can only be described as a pumpkin witch: a jack-o-lantern witch-style mini-hat, puff-shorts that looked like a pumpkin, wrist cuffs, a black top, and whatever those heels were supposed to be.
"You know, Sari, I was really surprised when you said you'd do this for me," Dina commented, taking a lollipop from his bowl and popping it in her mouth-after removing the wrapper, of course! It was usually her job to give out candy to trick-or-treaters "Giving out treats and serving at the same time is no easy thing. Are you sure you're up for this? I know how you are around people." She was referring to his naturally hot-headed tendencies. Things like yelling at everybody and starting fistfights over the smallest things.
"You know I'll be fine. Jus' have some faith in me," he assured her. She rolled her eyes and walked off, not fully believing him, but also having a job to do.

Autumn was a child at heart. It was plain as day to see just by the cheerful smile on her face and her always enthusiastic peronality. She was perhaps too old to be going about trick or treating on her own but did she care? Not one bit. She was a unique individual and proud of it.
She skipped her way down the streets adorned in a pink frilly dress with heels. Her costume was nothing more than an added sparkly unicorn and a horse tail attached over the top of her kitty one. She couldn't hide her ears so they would have to stop atop the mass of pink curls.
She burst into the restaurant like she did with most places she went to. Arms were thrown high into the air before she shouted excitedly. "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!" It didn't matter if no one was here or if there was a room full of people. She always liked to draw attention to herself.

Everyone in the immediate area turned their attention to the loud person at the door, including a lot of the staff. Dina was confused. This person's costume suggested she was a trick-or-treater, but her age suggested she was a customer. She waved over another waitress to ask if there were any other reservations they were waiting for, in case this person truly was just an enthusiastic diner. Back at the door, Sariel extended the candy bowl to her, not caring if she was nine or eighty-nine, only that she was there.
"And a 'appy 'olloween to you," he returned, a bit less enthusiastically. His first trick-or-treater! It was his chance to prove to Dina he could handle people on his own. "Quite the costume ya got there. Very... Pink." Yeah, that's all he could say about it. He's not that great with compliments. Just pink. Oh, wait! "Sparkly, too." ... How about a little more effort next time, Sari? Just a little.

With the bowl offered to her she plucked out a couple pieces of gummy candy and skittles she could find. Those were her most favorite. One small package was opened immediately. Apparently she was just trying to sate a sugar craving. She looked up at the male with a large smile before looking him over. Of course her gaze lingered for a long while on his wings.
"Thanks!" She replied followed by an "Oooh." She walked around him to inspect the wings. "I like these. They remind me of someone." Her brows furrowed for a moment. She couldn't recall the memory or the person for some reason. "Ya know with those Ya coulda dressed like the Angel of Death." She wasn't trying to come off as rude but rather just enjoying a bit of conversation for the time being.

He chuckled. "Angel of Death, 'uh?" Technically his job was to keep people alive... Which was the comedic irony in her statement. "Nah, I'm jus' a regular ol' guardian angel." Dina shot him a glance, something that demanded he not blow his cover. Silly her... He wasn't going to blow his cover by explaining his... costume. Wait. Would that technically mean his costume was a human dressed as an angel? Costumeception!
Sariel set the bowl down on the little podium next to him, not even nagging the girl for taking more than she was supposed to. "I appreciate that you like my wings an' all, but I 'ave no idea what you mean by 'Angel of Death'. Enlighten me."
Dina returned to her waitressing duties, keeping a close eye on Sariel and Autumn. Sariel had a habit of being very showy and, as mentioned, hot-headed... Especially to girls. The showy part! He was significantly more showy and less hot-headed to girls, is what I meant to... Ahem... Yeah.

Now, this was a person that actually didn’t understand the pain of hiding wings, as his appeared and disappeared at his will. Obviously, he hid them a lot, and they did start to hurt from being stuffed in at his spine for a while. But thankfully there was no bulge from it. They were always sunk into his skin.
Every Halloween, Josh took the opportunity to A- Stretch his wings, and B- TO GET FREE CANDY!!
He also loved to admire the childrens costumes as they roamed around the streets. Heat be almost an adult, but that had no affect on his love for this holiday.
He had already been to a few houses, and he was now approaching the restaurant.
He swiftly opened the door and creeped in, barely making a noise until the door closed with a ‘click’. He screwed his eyes shut before glancing up and smiling sheepishly.
“Uh, happy Halloween..?” He said quietly, sort of questioning the last part.
His outfit consisted of a white t-shit, black jeans and xonverse, and mixed white and black angel wings sticking out of his back.
He was actually between fallen angel and normal angel, as he was banished from his previous home, but had not been abducted by demons or the such.
He usually hated his life, and the only positive thing was his boyfriend.
Could he really call him that?
Well, they definitely liked each other according to their actions-
Woah, Josh. Took far, too far.
He smiled yet again at the people in the restaurant and simply stood there, becoming quite awkward as he hated attention, or even being aknowledged.
He prayed this wouldn’t take long. There was too many people.

"Ohhh... A guardian angel? Hmm.." An index finger went to her lips while she thought for a moment. It was a gestured she often did when thinking a bit more seriously. She walked around him once more, looking over everything on him. Them sue stood in front of him, completely oblivious to the others around them and the secret being hidden. She was the type of person that had a terrible time splitting her attention which explained why she flitted from person to person quite often. "Maybe next time carry a doll or something so it looks like you're guarding someone." If he allowed she would lightly poke at his chest. "And I meant look scary. Angel of death has wings and looks scary yeah? Kinda like and grim reaper?" She wasn't exactly sure. Things like that wasn't in her knowledge.
Another came in which she failed to notice until he spoke up. Only one of her ears twitched toward the voice, showing she was deaf in her right ear. When she turned around she squealed quite loudly. He had wings too! Immediately she started to bounce in place and happy clap. "Oh you have wings! Everyone has wings! I'm so jelly! They're all so pretty and amazing!" Maybe dressing up as a fairy would have been a better idea than a unicorn....

Taff fell onto the ground, not far from the restaurant and stood up and dusted himself.
He was not entirely sure how he had managed to land there but sorcerers knew travelling across times and dimensions sometimes lead to unexpected eventful journeys.
He was not entirely sure what year they were in or what kingdom they were at but he was definitely sure he was starving and lucky for him there was an establishment opened whose smells of food were undeniably delicious.
Taff the warlock was dressed like all medieval warlocks and sorcerers dressed, with long robes and a hooded cloak, thus he did not need any retouches to his attire to adjust to the Halloween theme ongoing throughout the occasion.
Taff made his way over to the small crowd with a friendly warm on his face.
"Greetings... citizens..." grinned Taff extending his hand forward in a friendly gesture hoping such things did not cause offense in this rather strange world.

Now this was a custom that Evians brought to her world that Ei definitely did not mind. It gave her a more innocent excuse to actually shapeshift into something that was convincing to everyone as something like special effects or good make up. However, in this case, Ei still chose to appear as a child for this 'Hallow's Eve' thing. After all, it was the kids that appeared to get the most amount of candies and sweets.
Unlike her princess costume from last year, Ei chose to be an angel. A silky robe was fashioned for her, and concealed her back enough to allow her smaller form wings to poke through. Instead of having her wings appear with the normal markings that Ei generally chose, the wings were just the powdery white that complemented her attire of being an angel. To keep the facade going, Ei also chose to keep her wings still -- hopefully make people think that they were just very believable props for the time being.
Skipping on up to the restaurant in the area. It was surprising to Ei that even store owners would engage in this Halloween thing. But... that just meant more candy to bring home when the night got too late and people started clearing the streets.
Taking up her pumpkin shaped bucket, Ei pushed on into the restaurant, a smile on her face as she said with child-like enthusiasm: "trick or treat! Trick or treat! Trick or treeeaatt~!"

"Alright, yes... of course, of course" agreed Taff changing his greeting right away, his medieval mindset as a mere servant kicking and guiding him to copy the child's indications instead
He watched the child lift up a pumpkin and rubbed his forehead briefly seeing he did not have the item these people used to greet one another. He rolled up his sleeves and readied to cast the spell
"nid oedd yma
ond erbyn hyn mae'n
dod â phwmpen
gyda llinyn"
it was not here
but now it is
bring a pumpkin
with string"
Taff smiled satisfied to see the makeshift bucket, made of an emptied pumpkin with a string for handle, appear into his hands from thin air, smiling broadly and raising the item to be all the more friendly
"Trick or treat" saluted Taff wondering what to expect next.

For a moment, Ei's face twisted in confusion as she lowered the pumpkin bucket that she had been holding to hopefully receive treats within. Pursing her lips for a moment, the hundreds of years old adult within her wanted to kind of be all, 'hey, what the hell gives, man...?'
Buuuut... seeing as Ei was SUPPOSED to be a kid, she feigned excitement from her obvious confusion of not being presented candy, because, aw man, there was magic involved!
"Oh wow! How'd you do that, mister!?" Ei exclaimed, bouncing her hands up and down, rattling what candies she did have in her bucket.

Taff blinked at Ei Ie.
"Uhmmm magic I guess... it's the quickest to way to get what I need, when I need it" explained Taff patting the child's head.
"Trick or treat?" quizzed Taff as if that meant hello, clearly clueless about the meaning or purpose of such words but repeating them in a friendly smile all the same

"Ooh, you use magic to get what you want!?" Ei said, her eyes going wide. Part of her was wanting the interaction to be over and done with. Mortals were good for about three things; video games production, the manufacturing of candy, and as scapegoats to certain events.
"Can... can you use magic to get even candy!?" Ei asked, grinning as she bounced her slightly filled pumpkin. "If I had magic, I would make myself all kinds of candy! Candy grass, candy trees, candy houses...! Could you do that if you wanted with magic!?"

"Well yes, I could do it, but you would end up with a tummyache and you would end up bored of candy too" pointed out Taff
"Tell you what... since it is ... Hall Ow Een..." spelled out Taff reading the banner "I am going to give you a treat and a trick, use it wisely uh? Don't waste it!" grinned Taff with a smile of mischief taking up a stone and breathing a spell into it
"I put some magic inside here, s, you hold the stone and you get to have just one single wish granted... for one day only" grinned Taff patting the child's head

At this current time, Ei watched with piqued interest as Taff did his thing and soon presented Ei with a glowing stone. It was a bit too big for her hand currently, but she took it up all the same and looked it over. Its warm, orange glow seemed fascinating, and Ei had gone ahead to tuck it into her pumpkin bucket with a smile.
"Wow! Thank you, mister!" Ei chirped. She dug into her pail, pulling out a couple chocolates and hard fruity candies. Holding out her hand with these treats, Ei kept that feigned smile of child-like innocence on her face as she held the goods out for Taff to take. "This is for you! People are always giving candy out for Halloween! Mommy says that you should also do nice things for people that do nice things for you!"

"Oh my, thank you, you sure are kind" nodded Taff as he put the sweets into his empty pumpkin
"So what else do you do at such time like this?" Quizzed Taff interested in the strange festival

"You usually just dress up in costume, and then you go door to door!" Ei said almost too simply at first. However, she glanced behind her and then went on to say: "people like to dress scary, and sometimes they like to scare people. Those people can be real meanies sometimes!"
Ei then puffed out her chest and said, "that's why I'm an angel! Because I don't go around scaring other people like a meanie!"

"Well for such good behaviour the stone is going to grant you two wishes instead then" nodded Taff with a broad warm smile.
"Now then I better go and help myself to some sweets" nodded Taff making his way further inside and saluting the bartender and the maid
