Exalted above the wall of the Last City, the Tower stands as a testimony of the Guardian's devotion to protect the remnants of humanity. The Bazaar is always ready for the long tradition of All Hallows Eve, and the Guardians are dressing for the occasion. Banners of orange and black lined the walls, and jack-o-lanterns littered the walkways. The Traveler, too, was lit with festive lights that night. Even those that are considered enemies (or not even from the universe of Destiny) are welcomed.

Aynor had been looking forward to Halloween. It was probably the only time of the year that truce from wars actually spread across the kingdoms and worlds, alongside some trickery and treats of course.
It was also the only time of the year he could afford to dress like knights, gods or kings and impersonate figures of authority without getting punished for usurping such positions. On this occasion he was wearing fine clothes and a thin circlet around his head.
"Make way for the king of Netherworld and the ruler of Mundus!" announced Aynor with a broad grin.
He was very much looking forward to partaking at the event, as he often did. Though, on this occasion and due to the men's insisted he had allowed his crew of rogues to follow him into the event. Surely it was a decision he would very likely regret. Still, they had made bets and the crew had won this time round. Aynor true to his word lead the way and ventured into the Last City.
He wasn't sure whom they would be meeting but he was definitely sure he would be fleecing the hosts out of everything they had to give, from weapons to sweets. This was after all, the only time of the year that they could openly rob blind these overly generous hosts without retaliation, and it was only once a year too so every hour counted as treasure lost making the men hurry along.

Cretax was nearly finished decorating his humble residence; a small home covered in black spores and green lights, the food and living conditions of a normal Thrall. Nearby, a pile of candy (human candy, not Hive candy) was placed near the house to draw in visitors, though most avoided his dwelling, seeing as his kind was held in detrimental opinion. He saw the group of unusually dressed humans coming his way, deciding to hide behind his Hive food-covered door until they arrived. When they were to pass his door, he leaped out, screeching, "Masters, care for Cretax candy? Is human kind."
"AHHHH" Matthew immediately screamed at the sudden presence backing out and cowering behind Aynor "Don't do that!" scolded well frightened.
Aynor chuckled at the startling introduction "Well when the gift is for free one can hardly refuse, eh?" smiled Aynor nodding in affirmation and extending his hand to pick up a handful of sweets, eating one and pocketting the rest
Robin and Glendale were far more suspicious and waited till Aynor did not drop dead from poison before grabbing some candies themselves.
Rufus popped one into the mouth and saboured it thoroughly "You know, it's not bad at all." complimented Rufus at the sweetness of it
"Honestly, I expected something more... unusual" muttered Haldor going for the word unusual rather than disgusting as it first came to his mind
"We travelled from afar to see how things are around these parts of the world" explained Glendale as to why they were there, the thief picking another sweet and pocketting two whenever he took an additional one.
Glendale examined the Thrall's residence pacing around it for a little while but quickly lost interest in the place, the decor within was well aligned to the Thrall's lifestyle indeed, if a little gross, but wealth wise, it could not possibly be said that could match a dragon's den. When it came to treasures there was little that he could steal. It may be Halloween but this was the time a thief ought to be working hard at collecting trinkets and what not from everyone elses houses, free candy included.
"Would you care to become our guide and show us the entire event?" asked Robin the slaver always finding uses for creatures, even if they were not human and this furnished Thrall clearly made for a good bodyguard.
"We'd definitely like to meet all the hosts and visit places and treasures that are hoarded here?"assured Glendale in agreement

He looked at them, confused. (Note that he has no eyes.) "Cretax knows nothing of Last City," he admitted, "but knows of great prizes. Cretax knows Guardians, knows leaders. Come, will show you!" He bolted towards the center of the City before turning at the end of their vision, urging them to follow in suit.
Aynor and the group of bandits quickly followed Cretax out of his residence and towards the center of the city, Glendale grabbed another handful or two of sweets, stuffing them into the travel bag before leaving the house.
Aynor was walking briskly making sure to not loose the creature from sight, given how busy and crowded streets were this time of the year and on this particular occasion for the matter.
"Let's meet the guardians then" nodded Aynor quite keen on that, unsure who he would be seeing on this occasion

"Many Guardians," Cretax wheezed, "all despise kin. Light and bright, they hunt kin. No grudge over them, not Cretax. Cretax smarter than kin, wiser to ally with Light than fight. Cretax show way to parade, enjoy festival of human Golden Age." He continued, sticking to shadows, as his kind despised the light in any form, except as a feast. Even with no eyes, Cretax seemed more than capable of finding his way through the dim-lit streets.
Aynor whistled the men to hurry along, keen to see who would be the lucky folk they would be meeting first. In his adventures and long travels he had met already quite a few of these gods and guardians and it was always good to be on good terms even if once a year.
He admired the streets, taking up a torch for better measure and passing it to Rufus who carried it dutifully
"You never know if they may or not attack when we rob them" muttered Glendale in a low voice at Rufus who nodded
"Aye, too good for their own good yet again" murmured Haldor following on, the group who was quite closely knit, keeping together and following Cretax all the way.

Halloween... it was recognised where she came from, but it was hardly ever really celebrated... at least in the fashion that westerners seemed to like to celebrate it. Parties and get-togethers existed, but there were hardly things that involved the aspect of going door to door, asking for candies.
"Well, well... would you have a look at that, my dear..." came the voice of the man that unfortunately accompanied her wherever she went. "Banners and lanterns that mark that festivity... what was it, Halloween? Truly, it is such a shame we never really get to celebrate it."
"It's such a shame that you won't let me enjoy it, really," was the near immediate response from the smaller woman as she gave the man an unamused look. For the most part, her expression remained deadpan as she looked to the banners that were about. It was nice, and it would have been nicer still if she had actually been here with people she considered friends rather than a parasite.
Continuing to walk forward with her hands shoved into her pockets, the raven-haired woman continued to walk, taking note of the people that were around and feeling somewhat out of place. Festivities and engaging in them was high on her list of things she would have liked to do, but with her company... it made it hard.
"Manaka, my dear. Perhaps you should slow down and actually take in the scenery."
Manaka paused, already tired of hearing the man's voice as she turned in a different direction and just went on her way. She had no real intention of meeting anyone here, but... it seemed that with the events going on and the collection of people around her... that might have been easier said than done.

Before long, Manaka would find herself within a bazaar... not exactly where she wanted to be at that moment in time, but she would have to do with the cards she was dealt.

A group of Goblin units waited by the miniature Oculus beside a Minotaur and five Harpies, one of which had an unusual coloring. All carried a strange brand. Thyrkeon, Conscious Mind, inhabited all Vex units, yet he took the Harpy as his host unit for the moment. He noticed the people going to and fro, laughing, playing, becoming more and more imperfect with every action. This was against Thyrkeon's programming, as his kind was centered on the perfection and organization of all things. The machines stood there, the Radiolarian fluid that consisted of their minds glowing light blue from their midsection. These were his ambassadors, here to strike a deal with the Vanguard, or annihilate them if proven to great a threat.
"Sooo who are we meeting next and where?" asked Aynor off Cretax having kept the pace rather well, despite the fact that the streets got increasingly busier
"Cretax see Vex master," he rasped as he ran, "and large Cabal, and dark beings. Guardians, too, Cretax saw. Scared of Guardians, they scared of me, want shoot my face. Pyre man say 'no, leave him be', they leave me alone. Cretax see hate in man's eyes, want to kill poor Cretax, strangle, murder, stab poor Cretax in the night. Cretax avoid him, leave him to own things while Cretax does things he wants."
Eric had no idea where he'd gotten to in his wanderings- these woods and mountains didn't look familiar at all. He'd been in forests that led back to where you'd come from over and over again, but this was different. Completely different.
Finally rounding a large rock formation, the shifter was stunned to see a massive wall before him, taller than any he'd ever seen, and above it a giant white sphere, lit in orange and black. The same color as the banners that adorned the walls. Was it truly Halloween again? Eric couldn't remember the last time he'd celebrated that holiday. He wasn't exactly dressed for the occasion, though with his horns and tail, he certainly looked scary enough. And if that failed, he could always shapeshift into his other form.
Holstering his gun and his axe, the shifter made his way towards the Tower. The guards outside seemed welcoming enough, even if they did give him an odd look. Wondering where exactly he'd gotten to, Eric started wandering the walkways, curious as to what wonders he might find in this city.

The more that Manaka walked, the more that she started to notice her surroundings a bit more. Furrowing her brow more out of confusion rather than annoyance, the small woman seemed at a loss as for what to do. While she had been used to dealing with yokai and other creatures that not many people believed in, this seemed... out of place and unprecedented.
Was it because of Halloween? The only thing she heard of being active during Samhain were stories from Ireland of some lingering spirit called 'Stingy Jack'.
In one of her pockets, Manaka gripped her wooden prayer beads, rolling them together in her hands for now to create a soft grinding between the beads. With luck, the beads' protection magic properties would ward off anything that meant harm to her. Otherwise... well, Manaka was never one for conflict... but if she had no choice, things could get bad quick.... Especially if she had to rely on Shou.
"Plans, my dear?" Shou's voice made Manaka look to him as he neared her. His hands had found themselves within his own pockets. Normally, he would have had some smarmy kind of expression on his face, but it seemed that he was picking up on Manaka's current emotions of caution, worry, and slight annoyance.
"None at the moment. But... don't be afraid to use your actual form if things get messy." Manaka's words were terse, though considering everything that she and Shou were witness to... it seemed odd to not be on guard.

Aynor nodded in understanding
"Sounds a reasonable approach, each to their own and no fighting in between. Still given we're bandits, we're well armed enough to defend our tour guide from harm" appeased Aynor looking around.
"Let's see what we encounter next uh?" Smiled Aynor easy going in his tone of voice

The Argonian sorcerer sat quietly in the Bazaar, his Clannfear and Twilight resting beside him. His staff rested on a wall, while his hood covered his horned head. He wasn't saddened, only lonely that particular night. A bowl of Tamrielic treats was sitted beside the wooden staff, with a sign that provided the following message; Take one free, take 2 for adventurous tale.
Eric wandered through the Bazaar, marveling at the sights and sounds of the crowd. He hadn't seen such a gathering in a long, long time.
He came to a pause, however, upon seeing a hooded figure sitting off to one side, accompanied by what appeared to be a pair of demons. Oddly enough, they didn't seem to take any issue with his presence, at least not right away. Eric hesitated for a moment before approaching Arun-Ja. While he couldn't see the Argonian's face clearly underneath his hood, he got the sense that this creature was at least somewhat reptilian.
Seeing the sign next to Arun-Ja's bowl, Eric glanced over the contents for a moment before reaching out to take two of them, one of which appeared to be some sort of sweetroll. Sure, he was in the mood for an adventurous tale tonight. Why not?

Robin nodded amiccably at Eric, letting the reveller take his two treats and came over hands open to grab two in each in hand, grinning at Arun-ja.
"Do they cast any spells or strange reactions if eaten?" asked Robin holding his hands open but pausing before grabbing the sweets. Being a sorcerer what could never tell if these free goodies were too much of a bargain and had a hidden consequence to grabbing and eating them.
Haldor on the other hand eyed the staff itself, examining the quicky shape and form
"Is this up for grabs too in this grand bazar of yours?" asked Haldor interested in any rare trinkets he came across
Aynor picked up different items from the bazaar modestly priced but useful to have for sure.
"Do you sell any enchanted vials that turn someone to stone?" asked Aynor unable to find that particular product
