Lupus lit the torches at the front gates of his family's castle. He then pushed them open, lighting torches all the way down the black and white checkered hall leading to the massive throne room. There he snapped his fingers, causing everything needed for a halloween party to appear. The two massive hellhounds chained to the throne only looked up, but saw no problem and went back to sleep. The castle itself was massive, covering miles of area. It was a dark place, hovering above a hellish landscape on floating islands. This was the grand palace of the underworld, home to the goddess of death Cynder Shadows and her family. Though at this time, only her son Lupus was home.
Lady Morgana looked around hesitant, the castle itself looked very imposing and perhaps this was the place that she was supposed to enter after all. If not, she could always make her excuses and leave.
She didn't know exactly how she had landed in this strange world but dabbling in magic occasionally had its risks, risks she was more than willing to take to increase knowledge and power.
She was dressed like the princess of Camelot that she was, with a long silk purple dress and jewelry to match and did not require a costume to dress and act like a true princess, it seems, she was a natural.
She pulled the cloak of her hood forward and decidedly came to the rather haunting property making her way in.

"Welcome to the palace of the Underworld." Lupus said as he sensed someone entering the castle. He sat on the throne, between the two black hellhounds. Treats of any kind lined the tables around the massive hall. Winged skulls and bats flew about in living decoration.
"Well, wow, this is... rather... impressive" nodded Morgana walking in further
"Where I come from magic is frowned upon, yet here you seem to make an outstanding display of it" complimented Morgana
"To what do we owe this celebration?" quizzed Morgana curious approaching the nearest table to take up a sweet and unwrap it.

"'Tis Halloween, dear mortal. The night we celebrate the dead and all that walk unseen." He said with a fanged smile. Lupus had no need to dress up, as he was a demon as it is. His natural dress and appearance would work just fin for all this. His glowing red eyes followed the visitor, yet he didn't hold any ill intent.
"Please, feel free to help yourself to the treats, as many as you want. They will replenish themselves, so there is plenty for all."

"You should join me in having some of them then" smiled the woman quite comfortable with that thought, taking a seat and watching the host with interest
"A night like this is not celebrated where I come from but it certainly should, this generosity from your part is most extraordinary" complimented Morgana

Desir had regained his memories, he'd been dead for over seventeen years now...a ghost some saw fit to summon and order to kill. He couldn't resist the binds they placed over him and it frustrated him now he could remember it.
He had been wandering around in many different places, with a simple thought he found he could go anywhere he ever wanted...however he didn't know how he got where he was currently. "...this place is massive" he muttered more or less to himself as he simply floated through walls.
He paused actually looking at his surroundings seeing a woman who's life force practically compelled him to take a closer look. He drifted towards her not really caring if anyone could see him even if they would see his death state which would appear very gruesome...
Then suddenly he felt the urge to turn around, he saw the hell hounds and drifted away from the woman with an odd curiosity "Can they see me?" he whispered to himself daring to move towards the one closest to him...

There was a look of irritation upon the large crow man's face as he walked through the hellish landscape. Since the breaking of bonds and banishment, there was usually very little to do outside the plane of Meido... though, when one really thought about it, perhaps the locale was much better than Jigoku. Still, the mortal plane would have better than any, and thinking about any entrance to Tengoku just made the bird-man laugh whenever the thought crossed his mind.
On this particular... day? Night? Gah, who even could tell time down here? Whatever the case, at this particular time, the demon found himself crossing paths with a floating castle. It was not particularly... uncommon... it just seemed strange that Shou was seeing something that felt out of place to him... or perhaps he just never explored this part of the underworld. Whatever be the case, Shou extended his wings, taking to the sky to get a better look at this castle.
Landing firmly on the island that carried the castle, Shou looked about before he decided taking on his mortal form that he so often used back when he actually walked the surface of the mortal plane.
"Well, well... what have we here?" Shou murmured to himself. It seemed that he was not the only visitor here. That was... somewhat relieving. A demon going places they should not have in the underworld meant more punishment than what they were already experiencing if they had baggage -- especially if that baggage was anywhere close to what Shou carried concerning his bonds to the mortal plane.
Bringing his hands into his pockets, Shou started to walk toward the castle, inviting himself within the premises since it seemed that others were doing the same. Perhaps there was an open event... which seemed odd. However, Shou was most certainly not going to complain.

Morgana stood up and looked at Shou.
"Come on in, come on in, the landlord here is very generous, he has prepared a feast for visiting neighbours and strangers and the sweets are to die for!" Assured Morgana with a broad warm smile greeting the latest arrival.
She had sense the strange presence of Desir but since she had not seen him she brushed aside the arrival writing it off as mere imagination of hers

Lupus smiled at the other two visitors. He, in fact, could see the ghost which wondered in. "Welcome, dear friends and departed." He said, addressing them. "Help yourself to the treats, You'll find that even those unseen can enjoy the sweet and savory flavors of these foods."
Halting in his tracks, Shou looked to Morgana and then to Lupus. He was suspicious of the information that he just heard. Was there something going on right now that meant some of the demons and souls in this particular plane were pardoned? What was going on, exactly...?
"I... I see..." Shou said, hesitating. Most demons and souls that were down here were almost as despicable and deplorable as he himself was... so why should there have been trust for what others had to say? It was definitely something to think about overall.
Instead of just leaving, however, Shou considered the fact that there could have been consequences for leaving before being told to leave, and decided to roll with it.
"Well, this certainly is unexpected..." Shou remarked, walking over and eyeing the food that was put put for guests. "But, erm... I do thank you for this."

Desir's eyes drifted away from the hound to the man "Hm...?" he said a bit curiously. He didn't think any could see him...he'd been wrong. The spirit gave a small smile at the welcome "Thanks." he said simply, it felt so odd that after so long someone could see him as he currently was...there had been one other but due to his unfortunate hatred of the gift his sight was he hadn't stayed very long...then again niether had Desir when in his shoes during life so he had no right to judge.
As he heard the part about the foods being something he could eat he gave a look of surprise straightening his posture "Really?" he inquired not quite sure, he could manifest himself slightly here...there was a lot of strong energy...but he didn't know exactly how to go about eating...not anymore "...I haven't eaten in over seventeen years...I...I'm not exactly sure about this..." he says lowering his head as he thinks back to every time his hand passed through objects and fell through floors...
He looked around feeling almost giddy if a ghost could be before more or less floating to a table...his mind flitted to many different things causing his form to waver but then he physically manifested, his shoulder length black hair sort of hid his face and he was wearing a simple long sleeve grey shirt and black jeans with boots. He brought a hand to rub his head finding with a smile he didn't revert to his death state...the way he looked when he'd died. He turns his head somewhat stiffly, his now dull brown eyes flitting around curiously...everything looked different when he manifested "I can fade away as quickly as I appeared..." he gave his warning not sure about how the others would react to hs new presence...completely visible.
He looked back to the food even now still a bit unsure but removing a hand from his pocket he took a single hard candy and popped it in his mouth, his mind going off like fireworks...he shivered trying not to cry "Mmm...I forgot how good it was to taste things!!" he thought to himself turning to walk around a smile had crept up onto his face as he let the candy melt on his tongue.

Morgana turned surprised
"Goodness I'm so sorry I didn't notice you sooner, are you a sorcerer as well, who like me, turned up here by pure mistake?" Asked Morgana curious, perhaps they could share and trade spells and figure a way back

Desir gave a short laugh at the woman's curiosity "No, i'm dead...more or less." he replied softly, obviously still unsure of himself "No need to be sorry, you likely couldn't have been able to see me even if you tried..." he shrugged avoiding getting too close to her...he wanted to possess her but refused to even consider it, he wasn't a good person as he got closer to the end of his life and all but he didn't enjoy the thought of stealing someone's freedom and body "I don't know magic, well not your kind of magic sorceress but I may have a few things to teach if you really like..." he did know some interesting things from his wandering but he wasn't really sure if the sorceress was capable of such.
Turning his attention to Desir for a moment, Shou held his tongue for now and merely listened in on the conversation between him and Morgana. Looking back to the food, he walked along the table, grabbing a plate and picking out some foods that looked particularly tasty. There were some foods there that Shou admittedly missed from the mortal plane as well.
May as well have taken advantage of what was there while it was available. There was no telling when the next event would take place where there was temporary pardon for the punished spirits and demons of the underworld.
"...like me, turned up here by pure mistake?"
Shou caught wind of this phrase and he turned with his plate of food in hand. Walking a little closer to the conversation, Shou took to eating some of the hors d'oeuvres for now, sticking to the small stuff at first so that he could more easily get a word in if he decided to butt in at any given opportunity. For now, however, he would simply listen while eating. Perhaps there would be other guests at some point that would also come by to engage with.

Amaury hit the checkered tile floors roughly, deposited onto it by the words of banishment from someone else's lips. The mason scrambled to collect himself from the ground while scanning his surroundings with confusion and fear. "What in the...?"
This was not what the mason had expected or desired, evident as his pulse and breath quickened. He stood up and fixed his eyes on one of the walls, breaking apart methods of its construction in his head to calm himself. At the very least the consistent structural integrity of the home and its elegance reassured him that this was not beyond civilization. Perhaps finding the person the place was built for would give him some idea how to return from whence he came.
And perhaps, if he made the right impression, this humble mason might find a new job working for this home's noble owner?
It didn't take long for him to find the others; he was not actually that far away in the first place. Amaury adjusted his hat, brushed dust off of his tunic and checked that each button was in the right place. First impressions were everything, after all. "Uh, hello!" He called over. Not the best start.
Their strange appearances gave him some pause. Was that actually a ghost? And some sort of... crow creature? He'd heard stories of such things but only within the setting of an alternate plane, or afterlife. He hoped that the person who dropped him there did not actually just kill him; his behavior might have been out of line, but certainly wasn't deserving of death!
Well, Halloween was coming up, wasn't it? Perhaps this is just a party. He resolved to act natural until he could figure out whether or not he was as dead as the ghost.

Tripping one of his zori over a stray bush's branch, Alexander wasn't amused that he had to wear his good kimono just to visit houses for sweet treats, candy, and hopefully a savory meal or two. Besides, when was the last time his other half wanted to go trick or treating with him? This must be some sort of covert punishment or something similar. Speaking of his other half, she had traipsed on ahead towards a strange looking manner that reeked with some sort of familiar energy. Divine energy. A god? No, it can't be, they were the only gods--well, god--in the area, at least as far as Alexander was concerned.
"Are you coming, Alexander?" While Alexander was unamused and lost in thought, Meliere was a bit more excitable and pleased with life than usual, and it showed with her bouncier expression and limber movements despite her portly frame clad in flowing black and gemstones. She motioned a dark hand for the kimono crossdresser to follow her. "I think this is the place the elders pointed out to us," she said, "Rather homey looking for a manor, don't you think?"
"Define homey..." Alexander replied in a begrudging manner as he looked up at the giant, regal castle. Yep, this had to be a god's domain. Or at least that was his assumption. But how? Did Meliere read the map wrong? This wasn't the original place they were looking for, but it seems like the goddess of creation was going in anyway. Wait. She was going past the gates and walking in, as if she had gotten the okay to proceed from an outside force. "Hey! Don't just go in like that, what's wrong with you?!" he snapped, following her despite wanting to go back already. He didn't feel right about this. Maybe it was someone as strong as one? Who knows?
"'What's wrong?'" the raven haired female repeated, "Alexander, the door's wide open, there are people inside, and it looks like a Halloween Party! Now let's be nice and go on in! I'm rather famished..." And I'd rather converse with anyone aside from Alexander right now.... In Meliere's opinion, the place was warm and welcoming, so she wanted in. She didn't care who owned it, as long as they were nice and offered treats. It was Halloween after all, so it wasn't like their outfits and feline attributes stuck out from the norm; it was all part of the realistic costume of a cat woman in a flowing black dress trimmed with fur and a crossdressing cat male in a kimono. (Of course, they could've played on anyone's ideal standards of beauty in order to blend in, but that wasn't something they were fond of, since Halloween was a time to show your true self among the masses of costume goers without too much judgement.)
Leading her unhappy counterpart forward into the large manor, she made herself known by calling out in a gentle tenor, "Hello~? Is anyone home?"

Morgana smiled warmly at Meliere's voice.
"Come in, come in, we are all getting acquainted." invited Morgana feeling just at home in this grand dark castle, doting the owner with her warm smile.
"Well Desir it would be lovely if you could teach me spells and tricks, one can never know enough magic for sure" accepted Morgana curious as to what it would teach her this time.
"As for you... good sir... I am not sure how you ended up here. I was trying out spells in my castle chambers when the time and relocation failed and dropped me at this strange but extremely welcoming world. What were you doing before coming here?" asked Morgana off Shou curious at his statement that he simply somehow turned up there.
Her eyes trailed off to Amauri and she smiled all the more so. The food is courtesy of the landlord here, lord Lupus. He is such a charming and generous man, that the food replenishes itself. Why not have some? It tastes absolutely delicious and the decorations are so well achieved" praised Morgana addressing Amauri briefly, being as welcoming as she could

"Yes, help yourselves."
He said as he walked down from the raised platform holding the line of thrones for he and his family. The largest, the on in the center, belong to his mother Cynder, the true owner of these lands, yet she was off on an adventure somewhere. He joined the others by the tables, a fanged, but warm, smile still plastered across his face.

"Do you make parties often, my lord? Or only on occasion? and what realm are we exactly at?" asked Morgana no sooner Lupus was closer and within conversational reach
She admired his clothing and hair style and quite liked the touch of appealing danger that his fanged smile provided.
His manners seemed impeccable as was his generosity for sure.
