Parisa followed, making sure her wings wouldn't get stuck or caught on anything.
the hill flattened as they progressed, but there were a lot of rocks in the small pass they were going through. Laine knew his way around, and quickly got over them. He waited in top for Parisa, looking out over the valley. He was suddenly on a high point, a cliff downdard in front of him. Before them was the forst, and a river to the right which reflected the moonlight, mountains bordering left and right side of the valley.
"Come here and take a look," he said while reaching for her in order to pull her up.
"Come here and take a look," he said while reaching for her in order to pull her up.
Parisa took his hand and stood beside him. Her sky blue eyes sparkled as she looked at the view." It's beutiful." She smiled.
This is where i come when i feel the need for silence," he said. "i know that may sound weird coming from someone living in the forest, but if you think about it, there's a lot of noise in the forest at night - not only friendly." he looked out over the valley. "this is my little spot of peace."
"I'd like it here to." Parisa moved some of her blue hair out from in front of her face.
That comment made Laine look over to her. "Do you have a home?"
"No. My parents are gone and I feel my brother has died long ago." She looked at him.
"How can you feel such a thing?"
"I don't know. It's just a feeling I have." Parisa looked at the sky.
Laine didn't really know what to say to that.
"I'm sorry i asked." he said silently
"I'm sorry i asked." he said silently
"It's okay. You don't have to say sorry when you ask a question." Parisa smiled at him.
He blushed, and was glad for the darkness to cover it up. or maybe angels could still see it? No, they can't. Right?
Parisa couldn't see in the dark. She could see spirits and other inhuman creatures but she usually could see in the dark the same as humans. She looked at the sky.
Laine followed her gaze upward and swallowed. The sky was lit up with a million stars, and the moon reflected a bright light. It was beautiful outside.
"I rarely wander out at night. I don't see this as often as i'd like."
"I rarely wander out at night. I don't see this as often as i'd like."
"You should. I like coming out at night. It's makes me smile when I look at each star." Parisa smiled.
"maybe I should, yeah."
"You don't have to if you don't want to. It's your choice, not mine." Parisa laughed softly.
"no you're right, I really should!" he smiled at her.
Parisa smiled back. She opened her wings to their fullest.
Laine just looked at her. He thought to say that it was a beautiful sight, but he couldn't muster the courage.
