Sup I bet everyone has a costume idea for this Halloween. But I don't and I don't know what to be. I don't want to spend much money on buying me a costume, do you guys have any ideas??
Haa, I've been so neck-deep in NaNoWriMo prep this year I haven't had time to even think of a costume yet. For shame!

Quick and cheap, though... characters from TV shows, often, especially when they're not genre shows. Even so -- I went as a Viper pilot from BSG a few years ago and aside from handmaking the dog tags, it was mostly really straightforward, and pretty recognizable.

Or you could just embrace the kitsch and go as a classic sheet-ghost! You never see those suckers around anymore!
Buy one of those cat-ear headbands and boom you're a cat! Haha that had been my plan.
I always spend money on fabric to sew my own costume :D
So its hard for me to tell you what you can be without going all in >_<

Right? I used to be the kid that threw a costume together last minute but now I'm a cosplayer that sources screen accurate fabrics and leather whenever possible. I don't even know how to do simple anymore. XD

I'm making my own this year (not that I really dressed up in other years). Sailor Moon! Yay!

Get some make up and do your own things. I made a wire crown (easy and cute to do) and a pair of horns for less than $5.
