It is Halloween and Liliana decided to decorate her house like the Friday the 13th movies. She had creepy like tents with fake blood on them set up and old beer bottles that she found in a recycling area since the kids did stuff like that in the movies. Liliana herself dressed up as a cute pumpkin witch with a very cute/sexy orange and black dress, she also had knee high socks on that were orange and black striped, her shoes were very sexy boots and she, of course, couldn't for the witch hat that had many tiny pumpkins around it with Kawaii faces.

She sat down on her porch waiting for the people to come to her doorstep to get some candy which was mainly chocolate and jolly ranchers.

POOOF! A massive mushroom cloud of yellowish smoke erupted from the pavement in front of Liliana's house. Despite the wind, the musty-smelling smoke was slow to clear, and when it finally peeled away on the breeze the strangest creature was revealed: a garden variety snail, not quite three feet high at the top of its shell.

"HELLOO?" it gurgled, swiveling its wide, stalked eyes to and fro.

Liliana looked down at the snail with a small smile, not at all surprised about a talking snail since she has seen somewhat stranger things, "well hi there buddy" She said softly in a somewhat baby voice, thinking the snail was cute a bit. Liliana couldn't help but wonder what other kinds of creatures she was gonna see tonight since it was Halloween.

The snail's eyes oriented themselves to Liliana when she spoke, and after a moment of blinking, its pupils seemed to focus on her. Another moment passed, and then its face slowly twisted into an expression of hopeful wonder.

"Oooooh, hello," it intoned in a deep, watery voice. "Do you have any food?"

Liliana nodded her head and handed the small snail a handful of candy "would this be good enough?" She asked the snail and showed the candy that she grabbed for him and smiled shyly

The Hayes children slowly approach the house. Max, a young boy wearing a Luigi costume, was clearly frightened of the fake blood, but his twin brother, Drew, dressed in a Mario costume, kept moving with the others and reassuring Max.

Gracie is helping with this. She has a princess dress on, and her hair is in a bun, topped off with a play tiara. Her hearing aids are visible, but that doesn't matter much.

Kate, the oldest and the leader of the pack, was dressed in a Jack-O'-Lantern costume, with a large pocket on it to serve as candy storage. She tries stopping Kayla, a young girl wearing a Minecraft diamond armor costume, from running up to the house right away.

But then Kayla spots the snail. "Woaahh! A snail!!" she gasps. The snail is quite large, especially to a 7 year old. She dashes off as Kate runs after her.

"Kaylaaaa!!! Stop running offf!!!" she calls. The 3 remaining children stand where they are. Gracie facepalms.

Eventually, Kayla stops running near the snail, with Kate stopping near her, breathing hard. "Don't make me run like that again..! I wasn't ready!!" Kate says between breaths. The other children catch up to Kayla and Kate. "Next time, let me do the running," Gracie states.

Zack saw the horror styled house. "Well this looks promising" Zack wasn't really a horror fan. The only ones he liked were Alien, the Shining, and the Saw movies. "Let's hope nothing pops up" Zack was dressed as Rorschach from the comic Watchmen. His costume had the coat and everything minus the stench and the changing pattern.

He walks and sees a family. "Nice costume" he said trying to sound like the character

Liliana looked up and smiled as she saw more people walk into her yard, she liked the fact the people were actually coming and scared away from the decorations. Liliana got the candy bowl ready for the others and smiled brightly as a greeting to the others

Kate can't manage to pull Kayla away from looking at the snail, and ends up letting her stand there.

Max, Drew and Gracie hear the compliment and thank Zack.

Zack chuckled (he has mask on). He wondered what the kids were focused on then he saw the snail. Under his ink blot mask he was wide eyed

Clickity-clack, clackity-click, clickity-clack...

It was a rhythmic clicking of hooves that sounded on the pavement as Dez cantered about, making sure to both keep out of traffic of these modern contraptions, and keep from accidentally running into anyone. With as high as his eyes were, it was sometimes hard to avoid that latter thing. His black and white ears twisted to and fro, listening to anything that might have been cause for alarm.

Something that sounded like a 'puff' caught Dez's attention, and he looked in that direction. Slowing his gait, he started to make his way toward the sound. That led him to a yard that was starting to see people other than Dez arriving. This sight seemed odd to the centaur as his brow knit together with piqued curiosity.

"Hello? Am I intruding on the development of a party get together?" Dez asked, hoping that he was not intruding upon this residence by any chance.

"I dunno, probably not," Drew says, as Max visibly gets a bit nervous.

The four walked down the street, holding their pillowcases full of candy. They came came up to the Friday's the 13th themed house, and stared at it in awe.

"That looks amazing!" Yelled Robbie, who was dressed as a scary clown with bad makeup. He did the makeup himself, and it sure looked like it. Melanie stood next to him, who was also a scary clown, but she looked 10 times better than how Robbie looked. Her 'costume' wasn't even a costume! Melanie nodded in agreement.

Jack jumped up and down excitedly, and he was dressed up as... dunno... he just grabbed a bunch of random clothing and accessories and threw it on his body hoping it looked good. It didn't look that good... "let's trick-or-treat it!" he shouted.

"Okay, fine." Stanley then spoke, and he was dressed as Harry Potter, (of course he was!) "I got to admit, that house looks pretty damn cool!"

The other three cheered as they ran up to the front of the house, still gripping their candy bags in one hand. Stanley just casually followed them, walking, not running.

Liliana smiled as all the newcomers came to her house "Hi" She said cheerfully to everyone that showed up at her house "Would any of you like some candy?" She asked most likely sounding dumb

"No duh!" Robbie yelled, putting his fists on his hips.

Melanie punched Robbie in the arm lightly. "Cmon Robbie! Don't be rude! Yes, we would like some candy." Melanie said to Lilliana, and opened up her pillowcase full of treats. The other two did the same.

"Chocolate, please!" Jack smiled opening his bag.

Stanley looked bored.

She smiled and nodded her head Putting two big handfuls of candy in each of the kids big and giving jack tons of chocolate

The kids end up leaving.

"Yay!" The four cheered. Jack was very excited that he got so much chocolate. The four closed their bags.

"Thank you!" Melanie thanked Liliana as the other four began to run off. "I hope you have an amazing night!"

Melanie then noticed the others running off. "Wait for me!" She yelled as she began running off after them, back down the front of thre house.

And they were off, to the next house.

Zack walked up to the house and nodded wanting some candy

She smiled and gave him a big handful of candy
