He was irritated, either because she was not as easy to confuse as it could be expected from a young girl or what she said bit in the bone somewhat. It was reasonable however. No one liked to be out of their shoes and have it pointed out. Given the chance (and proper mood to bother), Leila would do it a whole lot more, though.
"You again forgot I don't really care what you do after I hand you over, since there is nearly no chance you could be of a use to me." Amusement faded, replaced by usual slightly bored expression. If the girl would actually enjoy talking, she would add that in any other case, she will find a way to keep him under her control, but chatting was not her hobby. Pending permission to go to his deity or not, she could have him do what she wanted in any case until the trip was over.
Well, hopefully so. Despite what could seem, Leila observed him closely even when he was gone from her sight and did not underestimate him. Since he could as well be someone from another world, he was the Unknown and one thing Leila knew well: expect everything from the Unknown. Although his personality implied certain things, she was not going to let them lull her in false sense of security. The possible usage of chemicals was not tested, maybe his body worked completely differently and poisons would have no effect on him. Considering his seemingly sun related powers, shadows would have a disadvantage as well. But while she stayed alert, there was much smaller chance he would actually overpower her.
For the rest of the day, she did not seek him out, nor spoke with anyone else. The only one to actually receive somewhat kind treatment from the girl was Borris. If he let the girl nearby, she would feed him various things, like best bits of the served meal. Would the monkey let her play with him, she would seem nearly content for the while, even though she knew that the monkey could as well be something more than just an animal.
The night passed calmly, both of them having a very small room next to each other. In the morning, however, wind became even more spiteful and the ship swayed like a toy boat. However, some invisible force seemed to keep the water off the ship, waves splashing against this barrier and falling back. It did not help the girl's mood, since the sea sickness was one of things to still bother her moderately, despite the many travels.
Meanwhile, back on the coast, the strange, even creepy pair finally was noticed. The reception was not very welcoming, however. Some people hid in their houses, other were openly hostile. A bit more, and they would aim attack at the 'freaks' - the title given to all those not purely human. Those who knew of the nearby harbor felt just as uneasy about them since they were unlike most, if not all, Islanders they had seen. Not many dared to follow two strangers far, though, more scared than willing to do something about them.

The little squirrel monkey was happy to allow himself to partake in Leila's games. The squirrel monkey was a playful one, and enjoyed the bit recreation. It had been a stressful few days for the creature. It seemed to understand what was going on. If this was a regular monkey, it was a very smart one.
During the sea storm Myron squatted onto the tip of the nose of the ship, holding on to it with only his feet and his arms keeping his balance as the wind cut over his face like a knife, though nothing seemed to keep him from his focus. Luckily his goggles protected him from the seawater, partially. Though it did blind him.

Despite the swaying of the ship it caused, Leila liked wind. Its restless, changing nature probably had her more interested than most people she had met. Then again, she considered spent time alone in nature far more precious than time spent with other humans for many years now. Ocean, however... The girl had a half-hearted relationships with it. It could as well be because it was one thing that she was nearly controlled by - if the ship would sink in middle of ocean, even her more handled powers would not raise her survival rate by much.
So, when wind pulled at her hood and cape, she wasn't displeased, didn't retreat in the more pleasant room. Instead, she went on deck, as if facing both the nice and the threatening. Not that these ships ever sunk, but there was always a first time... Leila stopped nearby the young man's standing point, observing. A meditation of sorts? Another note in the list about him. If Borris was anywhere nearby, she might lean and pet the animal, but otherwise, there were no interactions.

Borris was nowhere to be found on deck. The little monkey was in his cabin enjoying some rest. Though the creature had never been on a ship, he seemed to like riding the waves, no matter how big. Much more than racing as high velocity over land.
Leila wasn't too far off with her idea that the Djala might be meditating. This was actually some kind of training for the former slave. As Leila might have noticed, Myron is a limber man. Through this form of meditation he could work himself harder at being a harder target to hit. Magical boomerangs and portals could only take a person so far (no pun intended). He would remain his balance until the rain ended. Then he'd jump back on deck and leave for his room.
The pair of evil pursuers were smart enough not to attack anyone who was openly hostile, except for one person. A sailor from who'm Myron had won gold. He had smacked the frigid giant multiple times. And he got tired of it. He turned to the man who was about his size and grabbed his wrist."So you dare hit me? The world renown Coldfire!? The name Frozen Tundra Of Parryssia means nothing to you!?" When Coldfire was alive, his family had been a noble one, both powerful and capable of pulling even the strings of certain Exalted. The sailor tried to get away from his chilling grasp."Let me go you walking freakshow!" Gnashing Bones spoke now."We'll leave you be. You will never have to be involved with us again. If you answer us if you have seen a rather skinny man around with a bald head and spots around his eyes."
The sailor hesitated, but the cold was starting to get unbearable, even through Coldfire's mitten."I... I have no idea! I overheard him wanting a ship. That's all I know!" The skeleton nodded."He tells the truth, Lord Coldfire. Now let us keep our part of the bargain up, shall we?" The frozen baron nodded."Of course." He opened his jacket, revealing his torn sweater, but through that was a gaping hole in his chest. All his organs seemed to be working, though saw as blue as his skin around his eyes. Coldfire pulled the sailor's hand into his chest, making him touch the frozen heart, which was still beating. What happened next was a loud scream that didn't even last a few seconds. The sailor was completely engulfed in a cocoon of ice, his face showing a tormented expression. But that didn't last long either. Coldfire punched the sailor, making the ice and him shattering in a thousand bits that would eventually melt in the sun."He had cold hands." The baron complained as they set their journey forth for a place to sleep and a boat.
The pair walked into the tavern Myron and Leila had slept."A chamber for two poor exhausted souls!" Coldfire shouted."And a bowl of hot soup. It's freezing outside."

The day seemed to pass slowly and Leila observed that the crew seemed slightly restless, captain speeding the ship up at times that it nearly seemed to fly over the big waves. However, when the evening dusk settled in and waters calmed down, so did the men on the ship.
Leila had spent a lot of time on the deck, it seemed like there were only few passengers beside them and at least one - a young man with green eyes - appeared on deck only once, nearly as green as his eyes. Now, she was again standing at the front of the ship, gazing ahead and feeling something that could be called as impatience. She wanted to reach the Island (even if in all honestly it could be called a continent), stand on solid ground and get the accompanying mission done with.
But as she looked, the girl noticed a black spot against the bright sky of sunset. Narrowing eyes, she settled on watching it and realized it was quite quickly growing bigger. Apparently, the sailor in crow's nest had noticed it, the spyglass making it far more clear than for her, as well and she heard shouts. A dragon? Half inclined to disbelieve, Leila furrowed brows. But about seven minutes later, the outline could be clearly made out and it was indeed the majestic being. She liked the dragons - usually -, because they minded their own business and were immensely wise. But this situation made her slightly doubtful of its intentions.
Especially when it stopped over the ship, crooking neck to have a good look at people on deck. It was not the biggest she had seen, but certainly big enough to sink the vessel without much effort. In the fading light, each of the black scale seemed to be lined with silver, especially the wide breast-plate like scales on chest. Eyes were bright emerald and she couldn't quite make out the expression in them. Some sailors were shouting, but it didn't seem to be chasing the dragon away. Did they know it?

While people in this underground town were used to various death cases, the display of strange power from even stranger pair earned a lot of looks, and cold ones at that. No one seemed to dare to exactly get in their way, but none wanted to give them one as well. When they entered the tavern, the news had already reached the innkeeper's ear and he, leaning on counter, looked at strangers with frown.
"No rooms left, unless you want to share with four other," was his answer, but he did signal young waitress to go to kitchen to make their order for soup known.

Myron had been talking to many sailors, mainly to ask about Leila, but either no one cared to tell him or they truly didn't know her. Whatever the case, Myron would either stay in his cabin, or watch into the distance. Turns out Myron didn't like boats. They felt like mandatory cages to him, not being able to do anything fun without risking to fall into the water, of which there seemed to be an endless amount! No change of landscape, no creatures other than seagulls, how could anyone prefer the sea life?
But when Myron saw a dragon, he freaked out! In Creation Dragons were the minions of the Six Elemental Dragons, who's powers combined challenge that of even the Unconquered Sun. They even made their own Exalted, the Dragonblooded, who see it as their duty to kill any other Exalted, so that they may keep control of the world. Unlike Solars, Lunars, Abyssals, Terrestials and Infernals, Dragonblooded were unlimited. Their powers could sometimes even get passed on through child, creating families of Dragonblooded. One Dragonblooded could not stand his or her ground versus any other Exalted, but a whole army of them could mean the end for them.
"Dragon! Dragon! Dragon! Dragon! Dragon! Dragon!" He kept yelling as he ran from the front of the ship towards the other, his monkey following in his footsteps.

Coldfire spat on the floor."A baron doesn't have to share. Make them leave!" Gnashing Bones shook his head."We'll take it." He simply said in his echoing voice as he took a seat, plonking his giant book on the table."You forget your title means nothing here. You didn't expect to sleep in golden castles and brothels on this hunt, did you?" Coldfire remained silent."Then you're a bigger fool than I took you for." The skeleton said as he opened his book to read once more. Coldfire was not going to disturb him during his reading, not after what happened last time...

Leila watched Myron with what could be a mix of slight disbelief and most certainly distaste. Since he recognized the creature as dragon, there had to be some in that 'world' he claimed to come from, but the boy seemed to act as if this was either the most wonderful or the most horrible event in his life, but probably the latter.
The dragon, meanwhile, flew around the ship one quick time and then began shrinking. It was amazingly quick process, but looked painful, the body of beast curling up in a ball in air, bones and muscles rippling under the black scales and then skin, as scales seemed to retreat inside its body. Then the orb 'opened', revealing a man. Leila's eyes widened, she had not seen a dragon shift before, but the surprise was quickly hidden again under mask of nonchalance.
With soft thud, the man landed on the deck. Despite the possible bareness, he was dressed in tight, black outfit, silver chains going across his chest. His skin was just as black as scales had been before, with a strange sheen to it, and his emerald eyes swept over the people that had gathered to look at strange new-comer. "Good evening, fellow travelers," he greeted them in a voice that was like a rumble, yet strangely melodious and pleasant to hear.
First, he looked at Myron, smiling a toothy grin. "Indeed, good fellow, I am a dragon and hope to cause no distress." Then quickly, the man turned his attention to Leila. "Especially when there is such a beautiful lady present." Apparently, said lady was going to be his current main focus, as he walked closer to her and bowed in formal, ancient manner. "My name is Erbrow Seba, milady, may I inquire for yours, o beautiful one?"
Even if she was about to answer, the sailors surrounded the man and began speaking trough each other. Apparently, they knew him and knew him well. He grinned and joked with them and somehow managed to keep conversation with the whole bunch, but still tried to keep an eye on the girl. She, however, turned on her heel and left in the opposite direction.

Inkeeper scowled at the haughty attitude of one of the freaks. "How ya gonna pay anyways, eh? My inn requires paying beforehand." If it was up to him, he would kick these two out, especially the one who had spit. But if they could pay... He was no fool to pass up opportunity to earn some good cash.

When the dragon landed, Myron grabbed his boomerang, but he didn't throw it yet. He was rather confused. He had never seen a Dragon transform into a humanoid form. Only a Lunar was capable of shifting shapes, but in this world no one has ever heard of an Exalted before. Yet this world had Dragons. And lustful ones at that, it seemed. When he spoke to him he put away his boomerang."How many babies did you eat today?" He asked out of the blue, although the Dragon probably ignored him.

"Huh, you must think me of a sewer rat to think I'd run off without paying. Paryssians never leave a place with debt." He spoke proudly as he took a strange green tablet. It looked like a chocolate bar, but jade green, which was coincidentally the name of this money."I believe five Jadegreens will suffice for a bowl of soup and a room."Give him a ruby." The skeleton suddenly spoke."What!? I'm not giving him a ruby! I wouldn't even pay that much to spend the night in a room made out of pure gold."
Gnashing Bones would roll his eyes if he had any."Haven't we caused enough trouble for one day? These people don't pay with Jadegreens. I'm not at full power right now, and I don't need no damn tavern brawl! Give the man a ruby!" But Coldfire resisted."No! Five jadegreens will suffice. He can melt it in his weaponry for all I care." While Coldfire rambled on, Gnashing Bones levited a roughly carved ruby fragment, floating it towards the man without saying a word. As the ruby floated, Gnashing Bones stared at it with a deep purple glow in his eye sockets. Only after the ruby landed did his eye sockets turn back to their pitch black form.

The dragon did pay attention to the young man however, pushing out of the group and stopping in front of Myron. He was tall, standing at maybe even six feet seven inches, and there was a frown on his face, gaze travelling up and down Myron's body. "I am considering my day's first right now," he replied in what seemed to absolutely serious tone. The sailors quieted down, watching the unfolding scene.
"But you seem to have little meat, all lean and no fat under that skin, but I like my food round and juicy. It appears you are too overgrown as well, young bones are deliciously crunchy. I will have to pass up after all." It was said in serious tone still, even the strange accent that came with his unusual voice not making it light-hearted. It simply could not, when one would look in those suddenly cold, even hungry eyes.
There was silence for a very brief moment more and then Erbrow began laughing heartily, the kind of laugh most wanted to join (and so the sailors did). "You, good fellow, must be from the Mainland or else you would know no dragon with any sense and honor left would feast on human-likes. And as you are foreign to the truth about dragons, I will let you know: we have a lot of sense and honor." He patted shoulder of the young man, but did not seem to be quite finished with conversing.
"Do tell me, where is your homeland? You have an unfamiliar scent..." A thoughtful look passed over his face, as he added in murmur: "quite fascinating." Leila, hearing bits of previous conversation, had returned and now leaned against the railing, facing the dock. Probably in few moments, dragon's attention would turn to her again, unless Myron began telling more about himself. Or maybe he would juggle speaking with both, seeming interested in the man's story just as much as chance to flirt with beautiful maiden.

Innkeeper was about to speak up and maybe kick them both out, since these 'jadegruns' or whatever they were going to offer did not work as payment, but then ruby was mentioned and the man straightened. And with certain fascination, he watched the gem float towards him. When it landed, he hurriedly took it and hit one of the many pockets in his slightly oily jacket.
A call for some Grete and quiet orders and the pair would later find out they indeed got a room just to them selves, much like Leila had gotten Myron one. After all, maybe this way he could earn a tip... But until then, they were seated and presented with best stew they had as well some mead, even though it was not ordered.

Once the Dragon... or man, came near him and explained about how he prefers his meat, Myron leaned backwards somewhat, pulling a face. Though he was sure this Dragon type of person was not on the payroll of the Elemental Dragons. They would probably know that it could be quite... unhealthy to eat a Solar.
When the others laughed, Myron laughed too, though his talk about honor didn't convince him. Not at all."Dragons with a sense of humor. Now I've seen it all." His monkey didn't quite trust the shapeshifter, and stayed away from him. Myron seemed more relaxed though."You wouldn't know. I'm from Varang City in the Blessed Isles. Apparently I was born in a mine along the other slaves." He spoke."You're not familiar with Creation, are you? And where did you come from, Dragondude? Is your hair scaly as well? Can I borrow those wings? Did you ever consider becoming a vegan? How many of you are there?"

Coldfire had no idea Gnashing Bones took a fragment from him. He watched the food being brought and grinned."Ah, see, you old skellington? They recognize my status already!" He laughed as he took his food. Gnashing Bones refused his."I don't have a stomach." He simply stated, dead serious."When're you getting it back anyways?" Asked Coldfire."When my Lordship sees fit to return it to me." Coldfire nodded."He'll grant you one if we get that blasted Solar. Maybe I'll be warm for once." Gnashing Bones nodded. Unlike Coldfire, Gnashing Bones remembered his days as a Solar, before the Undying corrupted his soul, making him both the most effective Solar hunter, as well as the most tormented one.

"O, if in the place you hail from dragons do not have a sense of humor, I pity them!" he replied rather cheerfully, apparently amused by how surprised this fellow was. Each time he smiled, the longer, sharper canine teeth were revealed, as if reminding that, indeed, this person did not feast on vegetables only. Still, the amusement seemed to be sincere and the shifter, if that was indeed what he was instead of a dragon, seated him self on nearby box, apparently settling down for a conversation. Now he looked closer to Myron's height, so making conversing more comfortable.
"Leave the dragon alone," Leila suggested from her spot to 'the kid' and Erbrow's gaze immediately switched to her. "Milady, I do quite enjoy conversing with this fellow, whose name I must yet learn, much like yours, beautiful maiden. If you are in relation to him, do come and join us." The suggestion was accompanied with handsome smile, but it had no affect on her. "No thank you," came her rather stiff reply, but she did not move away from there either, apparently having decided to observe and not in the subtlest of manners. And why should she?
He sighed, disappointed, but then looked back at Myron. "I come from the mountain backbone of the Island this ship is heading to. We refer to our home lovingly as Qeher." The way he pronounced it, made it sound as if there were multiple 'r'. "I enjoy well roasted black grouses and partridge too much to consider a fully vegetable diet. O, they taste indeed wonderful with some rosemary!" Another toothy grin. "As for our numbers, I would say not as many as in the days of Glory, but it is not the numbers that make the history." Apparently, he meant that there were enough of them to stir up events.
"So, good fellow, now that I have answered your questions, do tell me your name and more about this Creation land where the unfortunate dragons have no sense of humor. I gather, it cannot be found on the earthling maps, but back in the libraries of my clan, there are many maps." He then added in a way it sounded like sharing a secret: "Too many if you ask me."
The sailors had returned to their duties, since the captain was displeased - windy weather had slowed them down and they would reach destination in dark. Leila's eyes were on the pair, nearly seeming to glint in the settling darkness, but her expression told nothing, even when Erbrow tried to get her join conversation again.

Myron had been standing still for too long. He started moving his leg back and forth awkwardly as he spoke to the Dragon."I'm sure one of 'em has got some sense of humor, as long as the punchline is death." When Leila forbid him to talk to the Dragon, he wasn't about to listen. It was rare to talk to a Dragonic creature without it wanting to decapacitate you."There's not much to tell. It's a big world, with diverse people everywhere. A bit too big, actually. Most people can't cross it in their lifetime, and people usually live up to be like three hundred years, so that's saying something." He started explain as he jumped up a barrel, just to feel what it was like to be taller than a Dragon.
"It's really not that different from this world. Except for a few things, obviously. The only big difference I can tell is that there's like... no Gods here, at all. And I can sense them. Whenever I step into a big city there's like three of them walking around, probably not even knowing they're Gods. And no one here has ever heard of the Unconquered Sun! What is this bullshit? No one knows the God who allows them to live?! That's probably why a day is so short here. In Creation a day is twice as long at least. This place is weird, even weirder than my former master's unhealthy love for dogs."

As night fell the undead duo went to bed, not bothering anyone else. They'd sleep well that night, the first time they were in a bed for months. Only in the morning would they try to find a boat.

Leaning back, he looked up, when the young man jumped on barrel, white teeth flashing bright in his dark, dark face. Still smiling, he quietly listened to what Myron told, but as he spoke, his happy grin turned cynical, more smirk like, although it was not for mockery about Creation, more the nature of human-likes as he called them.
"So, this mighty land is no more free or prejudices than our, if slavery - the ugly, old beast still too vicious to die - has made a den in Creation. But I cannot say I am deeply surprised." Why, he did not explain more in detail, just casually crossed arms across his nearly bare chest, still looking up to the conversation partner.
"Good fellow, some would lecture you about gods of this world for hours upon hours and indeed we have plenty, but it is our own actions that led them away from our path, even though I think they still gaze down upon Earth, but trough cracked spyglass and have not yet found the point to interfere. After all, people of this world have clearly shown they need no true gods and can also drench their memory in blood and tears." His voice was well modulated, raising and falling in accents of meaning, but without being theatrical, it came naturally. Erbrow probably could make a good story teller, even if at times the sentences were hard to take in due to the strange forms and words, but all of it gave a certain spice to his speech.
Leila's mouth corner pulled upward in smirk like expression, as if she was biting back a snarky comment about gods and people both and it indeed was most likely so. As she had expressed to Myron before, she had little to no believe in such almighty beings, but if she had to agree to such theory, she would probably go with the one that told they long since (if ever) did not care for the planet they had 'created'.
He chuckled, glancing at the girl, as if knowing just what she was thinking and feeling amused by her strong disagreement, but moved onto another part of Myron's mention. "As for your Unconquered Sun, we have the Almighty Sun who is said to be beautiful, majestic and fair lady, nearly matching beauty of the Four who embody all that is gorgeous and powerful in Universe. There are those who thank her daily and I would think that each a realm have their own gods and goddesses, in a lesser or more major scale, with connections between them. But, my friend, I must admit I am not very theologically inclined. I am more curious how you ended up in this world with our quiet milady as your companion."

Next morning they would again be given a nice meal, but when the pair began asking around for a boat, it turned out they would have to wait for three days, maybe even four until opportunity to sail away would come.

Myron listened carefully to the man. How interesting it was to speak with him! Leila would never talk with such interest about his home with him. In fact, he figured Leila didn't give one bit about him, Myron was just a job for her, and he didn't even know what a woman like her would gain from it.
"Slavery will never die. As long as there is one person who thinks he's above someone, there'll be slavery of some kind. In a land so big as Creation, it's impossible to have control over anyway."
His explanation about the Unconquered Sun having another name here struck Myron as pure foolishness. He had seen him multiple times before. Each and every time he was a male."Are you sure you're not talking about Luna, the moon goddess?" He asked. What could have given these people the impression this was a female? He couldn't find sense in it.
_____________
"What!?" Coldfire yelled."What do you mean, wait three days? Why should we?" The baron was furious. They'd lose Myron this way."Probably because of the weather. Unless you want to swim your way to the Solar, you had best wait a few days." Coldfire saw the reason in that."Two days." He said as he turned away from the docks."We wait two days, or we might as well return home. We'll never catch up with him otherwise."

Erbrow seemed genuinely amused at the young man's doubt. "Indeed, I am speaking of the Sun, who is related to our Moon Goddess. The latter is ever changing and it is the one who watches over other Stars that is male, sometimes considered the brother of Solar and Lunar Goddesses." He looked away from Myron now, over the dark waters. "Long ago, before beings like me expelled them selves to the Island, at the time of Great War, gods and goddesses walked on Earth among us, so, as ancient as the proofs are, we have them, so maybe our gods are indeed different from yours."
Although it was hard to read from her features, there was interest in Leila about this 'land' so far away from Earth, although since conversation was about gods, it was less captivating than discussion about the world it self. The girl looked ahead and saw that the lights of harbor are already visible. It would not be much longer that they reached the coast, captain and crew rushing the ship as fast as possible. A soft sigh slipped over her lips, not exactly relief and not really an expression of sadness. But in all truth, she was tired.
The dragon caught noticed that she was looking at the harbor and grinned. "I take it our quiet milady longs for the shore."
She frowned slightly, then nonchalantly shrugged. "Well, your discussion about what sounds like transsexual deity tea party does not spice the travel up very much," the girl replied, gaze direct and cold, but seemed to amused Erbrow only further. "Then, if milady is so bored, may I offer a short flight to the coast, for you and our good fellow Myron?"

Myron couldn't help but laugh at the dragon's story, although it probably wasn't meant to be serious."You're a real wisecracker, y'know that?" He couldn't help it. He knew the truth, and he truly believed the sun in this realm was that of the Unconquered Sun.
At the sound of "flying" Myron jumped onto Erbrow's back."I humbly accept your offer! Fly my pretty, fly!" He yelled with his arms flailing in the air as his legs are tied around the dragon's chest, the Djala's monkey crawling over the scaled man onto Myron's shoulder.

The tall man seemed unaffected by the addition that attached himself to his back. "Hold on tight," he rumbled in laughter and then jumped, without even a short sprint, straight in air and much higher than normal human could, not even considering the given circumstances. The weight of the young man indeed couldn't be much of a burden to Erbrow.
Myron could feel the body of dragon shifting and changing under him, growing larger as the bones rippled under black skin as if it was a nearly liquid substance, yet it remained firm, grew even thicker and few moments later was covered in scales. If he wasn't holding on tight, he could easily slip down the body some, but chance that he would fall was very small because there were 'bumps' down the dragon's backbone, stopping the slide.
The now wide wing span easily took them high in air, with immense speed - Erbrow flew vertically and then came to sudden halt, doing a back-flip and flying down in similar vertical line, wings practically folded on his back. The wind howled around Myron's ears and seemed to try its hardest to blow him off the black dragon and when it seemed they would dive into the water any second, the flight became horizontal, to become upward spiral moments later. At the highest point of the spiral, the huge creature opened mouth, letting out a roar, but if such a sound could be happy and full of laughter, then this certainly was.
"So, good fellow, do you perchance fancy a dive and a wash of your pants?" the dragon rumbled, circling the ship, before changing the direction quite rapidly for someone of his size. Erbrow's speed was superb in any case, maybe later the pair would learn that he was one of the most agile and quickest flyers left, making up for everything he could lack in strength and size.
Now that the flight was not so hectic anymore, the young 'rider' could see that not much higher, between the shoulder blades of the being was something alike a nest - patch of soft fur, or maybe feathers. If he would crawl up on it, pair of small wings would enclose around him, at base they had same fur-feathers as this spot, but further they became more dragon like, but the membrane was so thin, even if durable, since no wind blew trough it, that it was practically transparent, giving a view of the world. Maybe someday, Myron would learn that all dragon hatchlings had patches of fur on their bodies, like on their head or chin, but most dragons lost it upon adulthood, except for this patch between second pair of athropied wings. The space, compared to dragon's full size, was not large, but would be comfortable for one person, or maybe even two.
Below, Leila was left rather... Well, impressed, if she had to be honest. It was not often that one had a chance to witness such a display of beauty and power that was a dragon's flight and this, certainly, was one of the best, even though she was sure there were many flight tricks in this dragon's mind. She wasn't sure she wanted to experience it all first hand, though.

Throughout the entire change Myron held on tight, though once in the air, he didn't stay put. He crawled, jumped and ran around on the Dragon's back and even the legs, though during the backflip, Myron fell off, doing his own backflips until he landed back on the Dragon's back, screaming in joy."This is so eeeepiiiiiiiic!" He cried out as he felt the wind cut by his face. Luckily he wore his goggles.
"Dive? Sure. Try to keep up. My paints have been rather dusty lately." He answered, not getting the joke. He jumped off of Erbrow's back, woo-ing as he seemed to have turned into a shiny ball of sunlight as he torpedoed down into the water.
Under water the light would have disappeared and he landed without feeling like he just fell onto the pavement.

It seemed the dragon himself enjoyed the flight just as much as the passenger, and when they surfaced, with huge splash (thankfully, they were quite far from the ship now, not endangering it, except for some mightier sways), he blew a fire, that burned briefly with roar, making one wonder just how hot it was. It would be just moments later that they would go on another head-spinning twirl.
While the two fooled around, as Leila deemed it, the girl went down to her cabin, took her belongings and calmly walked back up the deck. By now, Erbrow was circling the ship again, but seeing her, lowered head to deck level, bright eyes gleaming in the darkness. "Would you join us for a flight, milady? We shall head for the coast now." he spoke, tilting head in curious manner.
With a soft sigh, inwardly slightly reluctantly, the girl agreed and was transported on the back where she settled in the furry-feathery nest. As the creature took height, she seemed unaffected and even unimpressed, although with closer observation, a certain spark of interest in her eyes could be seen, although she narrowed them against the harsh blows. The hood flew off her head once more, but Leila didn't bother to pull it up, wind pulling wisps of white hair out of the thick braid.
"So, where is your desired destination?" dragon inquired over shoulder, now flying forth smoothly and quickly. "The capital," Leila had to rise her voice for the words to be heard over the wind howls. "How disappointing! I had thought of making the travel quick and easy for you, but it is too far for one's night flight. Landing seems a better possibility now."
And so he did, flying over the harbor that wasn't too big or small, quite average for this Island, and in sweeping circle lowering to the ground in the clearing between thin forest and city, next to a path that seemed often used. When both Leila and Myron would get off of his back, sliding or climbing, or even jumping down, Erbrow would step back, folding wings neatly on back. Each scale seemed to glimmer in the shifting lights, but otherwise, he merged with the darkness very well. Then, another shifting process began, a bit slower than first two, and then the tall man stood in front of them, white teeth flashing in shadows. "Which tavern have you chosen for your nightly stay?" he inquired.
Leila frowned, but replied: "The Black Wolf."
"O, good choice, my milady, they serve excellent mead, I must say! And their roasted pig is the best in this town, excellent use of spices!" the dragon enthusiastically said and if their ears weren't deceiving them, there was a rumble coming from his stomach just then, which elicted a laugh from stomach's owner. "Forgive me, the changing of forms, when done often, creates a deep hunger. So, shall we start moving towards the warm fire and delicious food?"

Myron was soaked when he crawled back upon the dragon's back as he got picked from the ocean."That ought to do it for the next four months." He laughed.
Whenever Leila and Erbrow talked, Myron remained silent. He'd just go with every decision they made. Myron would just get them lost anyway.
When they landed, the Djala was glad to hear they weren't rid of Erbrow yet, although Leila probably wasn't."Oh, yeah! I'll drink you right under the table, dragon! We Djala have got steel stomachs!" He said as he tapped his belly."Leila can I keep him if he keeps following us? I'll feed and love him every day!" He mused, although it was probably not a joke.
