Roland 'ack'ed again and hurried after her, managing a foot in the door to keep her from shutting it. "Then you have to stop poking me!" he said, laughing. He pushed the door open and went to poke her a few times with a grin.
Abby laughed as he poked her and she managed to grab his hands and hold them away from her. "Hey! I only poked you once!" she said but was still trying to stop herself from laughing at just the threat of being tickled. Her eyes shone brightly as grinned happily.
Roland laughed, his hands taken captive. "Yeah, so I poked you back! But then you poked me again, so it's your fault." He grinned and winked at her, his hands moving to take hold of hers without even realizing it.
Abby smiled and shook her head at him disbleievingly. "You poked me like ten million times!" she argued with a small laugh. For a few seconds she held his hands when he took a hold of hers. Then a blush spread across her cheeks as she realized it and she pulled her hands away instead tickling Roland now that she knew his weakness.
Roland blinked as their hands parted, realizing they had been holding hands in the first place. He played it off, simply smiling and giving her a hug. "How do you feel, Abby? Physically. Anymore cough fits, still feeling bad with the cold? Or are you feeling a bit better?" He let go and stepped back, looking her over carefully.
Abby smiled and hugged him back, leaning into it. Then she leaned against her door as he stepped away from her. "I feel great actually. I mean a bit tired still but i feel really good," she said with a smile. She looked alot better too.
Roland smiled. "Good. I'm glad. I don't want you feeling sick." He looked at her for a moment. "Do you want to get some more rest, or maybe take a walk? If you want to sleep, we can take a walk afterwards." She'd said she was tired, so he didn't want to keep her up.
Abby smiled and opened her door, motioning for him to leave. "Well i'll meet you outside in twenty minutes after i get dressed in some daytime clothes," she said happily wanting to go on a walk instead of sleeping all day. When he left, she shut the door and slipped on a pair of black skinny jeans and a purple tank top with her long sleeved black and red checkered button up shit leaving it undone so that her tank top was showing. Then she walked out of her room and right to the front door choosing to go barefooted for the walk. Opening the door, she made her way outside.
Roland smiled and chuckled, stepping back. "Okay, okay." He left the room, waiting for her outside. He hesitated for a moment, then hurried off into the bushes. When Abby came back, there'd be that large, sandy-blonde wolf standing there on all fours, waiting for her. His maw twisted in a wolfy smile as he saw her, tongue hanging out like a happy dog. She had wanted to see his wolf form, so he decided now was as good a time as any.
Abby smiled happily and excitedly as she saw his wolf form and her eyes shined like stars. "Wow! Your so cute in wolf form!" She said with a smile and quickly walked over to him. Bending down and scratching behind his ears and on his neck. "I always wanted a dog but my parents said they were too much trouble," she commented and smiled as she looked at his eyes happily scratching him gently.
Roland gave a soft huff of indignation at being called 'cute'. Really?! CUTE? He was going more for...vicious. If his pack heard him being called 'cute', they'd laugh themselves to death. But as she started scratching at him, he shook his body a bit and leaned his head into her, enjoying the affections. He was glad she wasn't scared of him. That was what worried him. Her being scared.
Abby heard his huff and she smiled, chuckling softly. "Alright, Alright. Your such a big bad wolf," she fixed and said the words with a teasing nature as she continually scratched him happily. After a few minutes she hugged him around the neck and put her head against the side of his neck with a sigh. Running her nails gently through his wolf hair as she hugged him. "I like your wolf side," she murmured absentmindedly before she pulled away and pet his head. "So how about that walk?" she asked happily as she started to stand.
Roland licked lightly at her cheek when she amended her words, and just let her pet at him. He gave a nod of his shaggy head, then nudged her to gently sit down. Then he turned and trotted off back into the woods, tail wagging. He came out a few minutes later, wearing just his pants for now and pulling on his shirt. She wasn't the only one with scars, though his were on his chest too. She'd only get a glimpse of them before he got his shirt all the way on. "Alright, let's go on that walk!"
Abby sat and waited for him, blushing slightly as he came out of the woods in only his jeans. Though she couldnt help looking at his scarred and muscled chest as well as his abs. Quickly looking away but worry crossed her eyes as she wondered what happened to give him those scars. Standing up, she smiled and watched him put his shirt on the rest of the way. "What happened to give you those scars?" she asked slightly worried as they started walking.
Roland glanced at her as she asked that question. "Huh? You saw the pictures, remember? I was a rebel. I used to get in a lot of fights. And when you're a werewolf, those fights carried into fights within the pack. So I went wolf-to-wolf at times. I can't have all that fighting and then just get away totally spotless, you know." He shrugged and walked with her, smiling softly. "It's fine, though. There's a saying that goes 'pain heals, chicks dig scars, and glory lasts forever'. That's kind of how I look at it." He laughed a bit.
Abby rolled her eyes as he said the saying and she smiled amused. "You and your ego," she said with a soft laugh. Shoving her hands in her pockets, she looked around at all the land around the house. "Roland..i dont know what im going to do after highschool.." she said quietly. She really didnt expect a reply back as they walked. She just enjoyed the sunshine as it lasted.
Roland glanced at her as she spoke of highschool. "Honestly, Abby, nobody does. You know how many times someone in college changes their major? You don't have to worry about that. You don't even have to go to college. Once you get out of highschool, if you don't know, just take a bit and think. Just use that time afterwards to find yourself, and find out what you should do." He smiled at her. "I know you'll figure out something."
Abby frowned and stopped walking. "Thats the thing..How am i going to do that without money? I cant go anywhere. I'll be stuck in that house with my parents for another year or so. Its not like they give me money or money to buy the stuff i need. If i get a job it will be low paying and all that money will just go into gas for my car so i can get to and from work. Its frustrating," she complained with a confused frown on how anything would work out for her.
Roland stopped as well and looked at her, smiling. "That's easy, Abby. Just find a job close to home. It's a small town, there's definitely somewhere near enough for you to walk. Besides, if your parents keep their track record, they won't be around half the time anyways. It won't be so bad. And you can always come visit me. I'll even pick you up, so you can save the money on gas." He smiled.
Abby nodded slowly then continued walking. "I suppose.." she said quietly, falling into her thoughts again. It got quiet between them but a comfortable one. Once they reached the fence, she leaned on it and looked up at Roland with a smile. "So Roland ready for school tommorow where all the girls will trip overthemselves to get to you?" she asked adding the girl part as a joke. "Im sure youre ego will be bigger than your body can contain by the end of the day," she teased and laughed softly
