Abby felt hurt as Roland didnt look at her and it clearly showed but she was silent as let her go. Once she had gotten all cleaned up and in a new pair of clothes, she crawled into bed and pretended to fall asleep for Maria but as soon as she left, she sat up in bed. Leaning against the headboard, she pulled her knees to her chest and put her arms on her knees then her head on her arms. She wouldnt be able to sleep that night without Roland around. She had grown used to it and it didnt feel right when he at least didnt tell her goodnight or even show up. So she didnt get to sleep and just waited in the darl wether he showed up or not.
Roland would show, later that night. He opened the door a crack, peeking in to check in on her. When he saw she wasn't asleep, he frowned slightly and opened the door a little more. "Abby? What's wrong? Why aren't you asleep? You should have been sleeping for a while now, you're exhausted." He stepped inside, and she'd be able to notice that he had finally changed. He was wearing pajama pants, loose and comfy, and a loose pajama t-shirt. "Do you need something? Are you hungry, or thirsty?"
Abby lifted her head when she heard the door open and smiled a little when she saw Roland. "Still always worrying about me.." she murmured obviously barely still awake. Still she slipped out of bed and walked over to him, hugging him loosely afraid of rejection. Putting her head on his chest as she hugged him, she listened to his heartbeat so strong and steady. Breahting in his comforting and safe scent before pulling away reluctantly. "I wanted to amke sure you were okay," she whispered.
Roland wrapped his arms around her, picking her up and bringing her back to bed. "Abby, don't get up. You can barely talk you're so sleepy, why would you try to get up?" He sighed and knelt down by the bed, tucking her in under the covers. "Well, I'm okay. So you should get some sleep, alright?" He sighed a little bit. "You're not doing anyone any good if you just stay awake like that when you're obviously so exhausted."
Abby frowned as he said she wasnt doing anyone good a small wince coming into play but she brushed it off. "Well im sorry for being worried.." she muttered. Then sighed and reached over to him, brushing a few strnds of hair away from his face before pulling her hand back. "Roland......nevermind.." she started then whispered a nevermind. "Goodnight.." she murmured before turning away from him. She was afraid of being rejected by him even though he had marked her so she didnt ask what she wanted to.
Roland sighed and pet her head gently. "Worrying is my job, remember? Not yours." He kissed her head gently as she turned away. "Goodnight, Abby. Sleep well." He got to his feet and left the room. Now that she was marked, nobody from either pack could harm her. He didn't have to sit in her room at night and worry about whether someone would try to take her away or harm her now.
Abby slept in small intervals never really getting any sleep and by time morning came around, she was still tired. Locking her door so no one could bother her, she was silent and didnt leave the room all day no matter who was at the door. She slept much better all day then she had last night and even when she knew Roland got home from school she didnt come out. Not for food. Not for anything. She hadnt even made a sound all day which had started to worry some of the pack members. But in reality she was sleeping like a rock.
Roland was not happy when he heard Abby had hidden in her room the entire day, and honestly it scared him. He got the key and unlocked her door, peeking inside to check in on her and make sure she was alive. He could hear her breathing, and smiled as he saw that she was asleep. He carefully closed the door, putting the key away and going about his own business and things he had to do.
Abby eventually came out at somewhere around mid night that night and she went straight to the kitchen. Ransacking the fridge, she pulled out bread, chesse, ham slices, and mayonaise. Making herself five sandwhiches with no crust and they were thick ones too. She wasnt the quietest person either though she tried. After making the sandwhiches, she piled them onto a plate and poured herself a big glass of milk before putting all the ingredients away. She felt starved as she started back to her room. It was a wonder Abby was still thin as she was by how much she ate.
Roland woke from all the noise, glancing out into the hallway to see what was going on. He saw Abby pass with her food and smiled, letting her go ahead and eat. He was glad she was having something, at least. He went back to his bed and fell asleep again. He was just as tired as she was, except he hadn't gotten to sleep all day.
Abby scarfed down the snadwhiches once she got to her room and downed the glass of milk rather quickly. Setting both dishes on her bedside table once she was finsihed with them. The she got up and sat up on her window sill like she had been doing frquently for the past several days. Except she let her head rest against the window this time as she looked outside. It took a good hour before she finally started getting sleepy. To which she got back in her bed and passed out quickly. Tomorrow she would have to go to school so she could catch up again. Getting up very early in the morning however, she locked her door and even jammed a chair under the handle to keep it from turning. So no one could drag her butt to school since she truly didnt feel like going. Then she passed right back out in bed.
Roland did try the door, just to check up on her. He was VERY unhappy to find he couldn't open it even with the key, and Maria had to physically hold him back from breaking the door down. She made him go to school, even though he couldn't stop fussing about whether Abby was alright or not. So he was gone, and Maria simply kept the house clean and waited for Abby to come down for breakfast. (I gotta go to bed now, I'll post tomorrow!)
Abby woke up around mid-day and she took the chair away from the door and unlocked it. But she didnt go down fro food just yet, she had a long shower first in order to relac and feel better. Once all her worries and concerns had been psuhed to th back of her mind, she got out and dressed in shorts and a tank top then made her way down stairs. Going into the kitchen for breakfast, she was back to being happy and cheful but she did miss Roland since she hadnt seen him in two days. "Goodmorning Maria," she said with a smile. (Awesome!)
Maria looked up at Abby and smiled. "Good morning, Abby!" She was wiping down counters, but she quick dried off her hands and went to give her a hug. "Want something to have for breakfast? I can cook you up some pancakes or waffles, or whatever you'd like!" Maria was as chipper and cheerful as always, as if the Marking had never happened.
Abby smiled and returned the hug happily. Then took a moment to think as she leaned on the counter. "Hmm how about pancakes? I could help," she suggested then offered. She rubbed the back of her neck as it got all tingly. It had been doing that all morning and she couldnt figure out why. Then she remembered Anna Marie's journal. There had to be something in there about the Mark and she wanted to know more. "Actually Maria, do you know where Roland keeps the journal?" She asked and looked at Maria looking like it was important.
Maria smiled. "That sounds great, Abby." She was about to start on the pancakes when she was asked about the journal. She paused, then nodded. "He keeps it in the drawer of his nightstand. I suppose since you're in on the secret and all, it wouldn't hurt for you to read it some more." She smiled slightly. "Go on, I'll call when it's time for breakfast."
Abby smiled and thanked Maria before rushing off. She had an hour and a half before school let out so she had to do it quickly. There were still secrets in the journal that should be left alone but Abby didnt know that. Going into Roland's study, she opened up the drawer and took out the journal. Flipping through to the Marking part. Pacing back and forth slowly as she read.
Anna Marie said that the tingle meant two things. Danger was near or that the one who gave you the Mark was near. Abby knew it couldnt be that Rolan was near since he was at school. So what could be the danger? She was Marked so other packs wouldnt hurt her. The only person that could hurt her was.....
Abby closed the journal and shut the drawer, taking the journal to her room with her. Hiding it under the mattress, she made herself calm down so she wouldnt alert anyone. Then she went into the kitchen with a smile, ignoring the now furious tingle.

Maria smiled at Abby as she came back. "Hey, welcome back. Pancakes are ready!" She put the plate on the table and sat down, humming a light tune. "Roland should be back fairly soon, maybe you two should go on a walk or something. It's a beautiful day out, and your little picnic yesterday was interrupted." Maria was completely oblivious to any impending danger.
Abby sat at the table with a grin. "Great! Im starved!" she said happily. Piling five pancakes onto her plate then drowning them in syrup and butter before starting to eat. Thinking about taking a walk with Roland as Maria had suggested. "I think thats a wonderful idea. I miss him. I havent seen him in two days.." she said. Tapping her fingers on the table for a second before she continued to eat. Once she was finished, she washed her dishes then put them up. Now she would have to wait for Roland to get back.
(Oh do you know what the Mark will be? It has to be something according to Roland's personality since he gave it to her )

Maria smiled and started eating with her happily. "Yes, he's been worried about you." She just let it at that, eating the food with Maria happily. Once they were done, she started cleaning things up and made sure all the dishes were washed and put away.
(Sorry it's short xD Also no, not yet I will have to think on it!)
