Abby's Mark started to sting as Roland's leg snapped and she winced, putting her hand over it and rubbing. Well a least i'll know if he ever gets minorly or severly injured.. she thought to herself. The stinging wasnt too bad but it was enough to hurt. Snapping her eyes back to the fight, she barely stopped herself from leaping out to stop Trevor but her faith in Roland kept her back. Grinning from ear to ear as she heard the elder pronounce him still alpha. Then she was being pulled away from it all and realized they had to get back right away. Following the boy, she stumbled here and there not used to his quick speed that weres had but still kept up.

Once the boy had her safe and sound, Maria caught them. She gave the boy a lecture, then let him off and looked at Abby. "What do you think you're doing?! If Roland says you're not ready for it, then you're not ready for it! Abby, you have to respect his decisions!" She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. "Did he see you? Did you see him?" She fretted, pacing in the hallway. "How long did you stay? Is the fight still going?" She suddenly froze and turned towards the door, running to stand in the doorway. "Oh Roland.." she murmured sadly. There he was, wearing a plain bathrobe that had blood stains from his wounds on it. He was cradling his arm against himself and limping a bit, a couple of the pack members walking along beside him to make sure he didn't fall.

"I'll get the kit, you lot take him in to the bathroom and help him wash off." She turned to go to get her medical kit, but paused. "You, young lady," she said to Abby, "will go to your room. Right now, okay? I don't need you in the way while I try to patch him up." The usually gentle woman seemed to be much more stern and harsh when her brother's life and wellbeing was on the line. She rushed off to get what she needed to fix Roland up.

Abby clenched her jaw and balled her hands into fists as Maria ordered her to go to her room. Several silent tears slid down her cheeks before she went into her room swiftly and slammed the dor shut. Leaning on the door, she sank to the floor as the image of Roland limping into the house came back to her. Gritting her teeth again, she stood up and punched the wall hard enough to put a hole in it. "Damn!" She cursed quietly as she thought of it again.

"Wow, that's impressive. Are you sure you're not a werewolf yourself?" Standing in her doorway was the boy from earlier. "Um, the alpha wants to see you. They've got him mostly fixed up now, and he had me come get you." He looked down at his feet for a moment. "I think he knows you were there...I swear I didn't tell! But I just kind of get this feeling that he knows."

Abby didnt reply or even crack a smile. Pulling her hand from the wall, she shook the white plaster off her hand, then shoved her hand in her pocket. "Fine," was all she said before brushing past the boy. Walking out into the living room, where everyone was she didnt meet Roland or Maria's eyes. Knowing she was in trouble.

Roland was covered with bandages, wraps, and his arm was set in a cast and a sling. His good hand stretched out to her. "Hey, Abby. You not gonna say hi to your victorious mate?" He gave her one of his mischievous, dashing smiles. Maria frowned at him, but he rolled his eyes. "So what'd you think of the fight? Pretty intense, isn't it?" If she took his hand, he'd have her sit down beside him, and he'd simply hold her hand. He nudged her gently, then smirked. "So uh...that trick at the end. How much did you see?" He winked at her. After all, when he'd transformed back into his human form, he'd been...ahem...naked. "Toldja you weren't ready for it, Abby." He stuck his tongue out at her childishly.

Abby looked up at Roland and smiled, taking his hand. "I knew you would," she said with her eyes glowing with pride at the mention of him winning. Kissing his hand, she blushed as he asked her how much she saw with the move at the end. "Well..uh..with a move like that..i could see..um everything.." She stammered here and there as her face grew redder.

Abby simply laughed when he stuck his tongue out at her. Rolling her eyes, she stood up then placed a kiss on his forehead. "I never lost faith that you would win," she whispered to him before taking in his banged up self. Sorrow tinged her eyes but mostly pride lay in their depths from seeing him win.

Roland chuckled softly and smiled. "Well, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. At least now you know I AM a man." He winked at her, then drew her in for a sweet, loving kiss. "Don't look like that, Abby." he whispered softly. "I don't want to see you sad." The others quietly left the room, leaving them alone. "Looks like I'm going to have to come up with an excuse for showing up like this at work tomorrow, huh? What do you think; I fell down the stairs?" He smirked and kissed her cheek. "I am a clumsy man, after all."

Abby kissed him back lovingly and gently. "I think you'll have to say you fell down two flights of stairs and into a lot of thorn bushes in order to cover up for these injuries," she teased quietly. Then lightly kissed him again before pulling away. "Do you need pain pills or anything? Just let me know. I'll get you whatever you need," she said, with a smile still holding his hand.

Roland laughed softly, then smiled at her. "Thanks, but I don't need any pills. I used to be wild and rambunctious, remember? I'm used to this." He glanced at his arm. "Though it is a bit bad. Not pain, but the injury. He didn't just break my arm...he crushed it." He sighed. "Ah well. It will heal up, but it'll take a while."

He looked at Abby, still holding her hand as well. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Abby. The fight." He then looked away, sadly. "I'm sorry it even had to be done.." After all, it was his ex-best-friend who he had fought.

Abby knelt down in front of him and gave him a gentle smile. "I dont like seeing you get hurt..but i know it will be necassary sometimes..so i just have complete faith in you when the time comes," she said quietly and smiled before getting up. "Hey are you still hungry?" She asked then very gently helped him up and to the kitchen. Sitting him down in a chair after pulling it out for him, she went to the fridge and pulled out food. Heating it up then setting it down for him wether he was hungry or not. "You didnt finish dinner," she said, sitting next to him.

Roland let her take him along to the kitchen, smiling softly. "Thanks, Abby." He sat down and started eating. He was glad he had her. She had faith in him, and that made him happy. She was there for him to come back to. Someone special that was waiting for him. He couldn't express to her, just how much that meant to him. "What about you, did you finish eating?"

Abby looked up at Roland as he asked her a question. "Oh well um no..i didnt really think of that," she said honestly then smiled and kissed his cheek before getting up. Putting some food on a plate for her, she put it in the microwave to heat it up. Then joined Roland at the table, but she didnt touch her food as she looked at it. "Roland...im sorry...i went against what you told me...." She whispered as her bangs fell over her eyes. Then she rubbed them as they started to tear up. "I know i should have..respected your desicion...im sorry.." She murmured.

Roland watched her, blinking in surprise. She was...actually starting to cry? He reached over and touched her cheek, then he brushed away her bangs. He gave her a flick to the forehead, then leaned back and kept eating. "There. That was your punishment." he said calmly between mouthfuls. "At least you know you should've listened, so you'll know next time before it happens, hm?" He smiled gently at her. "I'm not gonna hate you, Abby. But I do want you to respect my decisions. Understand that I'm the older one here. I know what I'm talking about."

Abby looked at him in surprise and flinched when he flicked her forehead. Then quietly started eating without saying anything. Once she was finsihed, she waited for him to be finished before she took his plate to the sink as well. Washing them, she then dried and put them up. Leaning on the sink a little bit, she sighed then finally took a look at her hand that she had punched the wall with. It was still dusted with plaster and a little bit of blood where she had scraped open the skin. Gently washing her hand under the water, she dried it off and went back to the table.
"Its not that i dont respect them. Its the fact that i do have a right to be there for you. But i wont ever go against your orders ever again. So dont worry about it." she said quietly then put her hand out for him to take. "I'll help you to your room," she offered with a gentle smile. Something changed completely as she had the few moments in her room to think about it. He had only wanted the best for her so she had no right to go against him.

Roland took her hand and kissed it. "Abby, I don't want to be controlling, or demanding like a parent. I just felt that, this soon in our relationship, it would really upset you to watch me in a fight that...well, a fight that's supposed to end in death. I was supposed to kill him, you know. But I didn't. I knew you were there, I recognized your scent. I didn't want you to see another neck snapped. Colt's death really upset you. I didn't want you at the fight because there is always the possibility that I DO lose. I can't guarantee a victory every time. It's always a possibility. So I just...I don't want you to see that when this is such an early relationship."

Abby smiled as he kissed her hand then bent down in front of him. "Roland. I know why you did it. I-I do love you though and i care what happens to you. Thats the only reason i did it. As i said before, i have complete faith in your desicions and in you," she said quietly and ran her thumb lightly over his hand then lightly kissed his knuckles. Smiling, she gently helped him up then helped him to his room. "Do you need more help or do you have it from here? If there is ever anything i can do for you just call me or ask me. I promise i will help you with anything," she said with a loving smile.

Roland smiled at her and let her help him to his room. "I'm fine, Abby, I promise. This isn't the first time I've broken a bone. I've had it worse than this." He kissed her head and smiled. "Go get some sleep, you've got school in the morning. I'll see you then." He nudged her off to her room, then he got into bed and fell asleep rather quickly. He was exhausted from all the fighting he'd done.

Abby smiled as he kissed her head then she nodded and told him goodnight before making her way to her room. Falling asleep quickly as soon as her head hit the pillow. Tommorow she would have to cover up the hole with something so no one besides the boy would no. It was very noticeable considering how bid it was and plater was spread across the carpet just below it. The next morning she wouldnt wake up because her alarm didnt go off.

Abby's alarm did go off, though; her human alarm. Maria knocked on her door at just the right time. "Abby, time to get up! You've got school! Roland's already had breakfast and gone off. Pancakes on the table, better hurry up though dear." At least she didn't come in, because she wouldn't be happy about the hole in the wall.
