Abby smiled and nodded happily. "Okay. Meet you in your room then," she said happily then turned and quickly rushed off to her room. Changing into shorts and a tank top, then going into Roland's room. For a second pausing as his scent washed over her and she smiled. His scent was comforting and helped her feel safe. Crawling into his bed, she put her head on one of his pillows and inhaled his scent deeply before relaxing. She really loved him and was more than happy she was his mate. She wanted to spend her life with him even though he was a werewolf. It didnt faze her, only drew her closer to him.
(Good night )
(Good night )
Roland smiled as she came in and he rubbed her head gently. "Hey, Abs." He was shirtless, only in a pair of pajama pants. There were fresh scars on his body from the fight. "Ready to get some sleep?" He laid down by her, having to lay on his back or other side because of his arm. So he simply laid on his back, looking up at the ceiling. His other arm was put around Abby and he pulled her close, kissing her head. "There we go. That's better."
Abby smiled and snuggled into his side, putting her head on his chest. Listening to his heartbeat for a moment before nodding. "Good night.. I love you Roland..." She murmured, already falling asleep rather quickly. It had been a long and tiring day, especially with Roland loosing his job and her crying over it. She could tell she would need an aspirin before heading to school in the morning. She would have to deal with alot of evil girls with stupid crushes at school. No doubt it had already spread throughout the chain of girls that Abby was dating Roland. Oh well. They would just have to deal with it.
Roland held her close. "Goodnight, Abby. I love you too." He wouldn't fall asleep so easily. He never did. It always took a lot for him to be able to sleep. Especially now that he'd lost his job. That meant he had to get a new one. He couldn't get a new teaching job, not with dating a student on his record. But maybe a job somewhere else. He sighed and just thought for a while, but eventually fell asleep.
Abby woke up earlier than everyone else and very slowly, silently got out of the bed. Nope she had a plan for this all. It had come to her last night as she was willing to do anything to help. Even if that mean doing what she was about to do. Getting dressed in black skinnys, a pirple tank top and a grey sweatshirt, she left the house. Starting up her car, she left and drove into town. Going for the police department, she talked to them for a moment and got them to let her talk to her dad. Needless to say, her dad was not happy to see her but after a really long hour of talking she convinced him to do something about Roland's record. Making a call to the school, her father was in his professional mode as he talked to the principle. After several minutes, the principle erased the record of Roland ever dating a student. He also gave a call to Maria, apologizing for the misunderstanding, that the person who spotted them had lied about it all and it hadnt been fair to question Roland in such a way. Though the principle knew that they were dating, he said nothing about it. Abby sat in her car in an open field where they all went for picnics. She didnt go to school that day, sitting in the field thinking about everything. Wondering if she did the right thing. Well more worried what Roland would think.
After a while, there was a tapping on her window. Kevin was standing outside. He flailed his hands until she opened the window or door. "Abby! Roland's been worried sick about you! He got a call this morning, about all this stuff, and then he found out you didn't go to school, and he's totally worried sick that you got kidnapped or something and then he couldn't go search for you because of his arm so he sent me!" he blurted. "You're not running away, are you Abby?"
Abby smiled and got out of her car, leaving the window down as she stepped out. Flicking Kevin's forehead gently before shaking her head still smiling. "No. I told Roland i love him and i will always be there for him. Im definitly not leaving now. I just needed some time to think about some things. My life in particulary. Where its gonna go and how happy i am now," she explained with a shrug. Then leaned on her car, looking relaxed, happy, and calm for once. Like she had not a worry in the world. Looking at Kevin, she motioned for him to get in the car. "Come on. I'll get us both back," she said, getting back in her car.
Kevin blinked as he was flicked, then he smiled in relief as she spoke. "Good." When he was offered a ride, he nodded and get into the car. "So...what all did you do, Abby? You got Roland's record clean. How'd you do that? What else did you do?"
Abby was silent for a moment as she drove then she tapped the steering wheel. "..i went to see my father. Convinced him to clear Roland's record and get him his job back. I told him...i told him if he got out of prison he could visit me when he wanted to..IF he got out," she said as they pulled onto the pack's territory and drove to the house.
Kevin stared. "...Roland'll kill him. You know that, right? He's gonna make sure he's by your side whenever he visits, and if he tries to do anything you know he'll kill him." He sighed slightly. "...Abby, it's just a job. Roland would rather you be safe and sound than have his job. But...it's really nice of you. You must really, really care about him, huh?"
Abby smiled and pushed her bangs away from her face as they pulled up to the house. "I love him with everything i have. I couldnt imagine my life without him now," she replied, truth in her words as she turned off the car. Pocketing the keys, she let out a slow breath before exiting the car. "Kevin. Dont tell Roland about the deal. It has to be my job," she said, looking at Kevin with all seriousness in her eyes. Shutting her car door, she went inside first with Kevin following.
Kevin looked at her for a moment. "...okay. But if he asks, I have to tell. I'm sorry, Abby, but he's alpha. So if he asks, I really have no choice but to tell the truth." He followed her inside, where Roland was pacing. When he saw her, he stopped. "Abby! Where the hell have you been? You didn't go to school, you didn't leave a note; you had me worried sick! Especially with the problems we've been having lately, I was scared to death something happened to you."
Abby simply relaxed and smiled when she saw Roland even if he was mad. She walked over and kissed his cheek gently then took a seat on the couch. "Im sorry Roland. I had something a had to take care of and i was late at getting to school so i decided not to go. I needed a day to think about some things. I know i shouldve called or something but my phone died and i had already left so i couldnt leave a note," she apologized, still smiling and looking up at Roland a happy light in her eyes at just seeing him.
Roland frowned a little, though he just couldn't stay mad at her. He sighed. "Fine. But next time you go out, leave a note. Got it?" He wasn't going to go on worrying all the time. He sighed again and sat down. "So, I have some news. Apparently the report was said to be falsified. So my record's been cleaned and I have my job back.."
Abby smiled and nodded, agreeing to leave a note next time. "Thats great!" She said happily. She would only tell him if he asked and so far he hadnt. Giving him a kiss on the cheek, she was careful of his arm and kicked off her shoes. Pulling her feet onto the couch as she leaned back into it. "How do you feel about getting your job back?" She asked because he had sighed before hand which meant he was either relieved or something else.
Roland smiled slightly. "Well, it feels good. But it's odd, I get the call after you vanish...hm?" He looked at her careful. "You wouldn't happen to have anything to do with it, would you?" He was smart, and because he got the call when she had skipped school and 'had things to do', well....he had suspicions.
Abby shrugged and looked at him. "I did. I knew i could do something so i did," she admitted. "Though you wouldnt like how i did it," she added. Looking away from him, she looked out the window at the front yard. Watching the wind blow leaves around, just noticing the sky getting a bit gray. Rain soon, thank goodness it was friday.
Roland was okay with that, until she mentioned not liking how she did it. He frowned. "What? Why? Why wouldn't I like it, Abby?" He looked at her carefully, still having an arm around her. He didn't want to know, but at the same time he NEEDED to know.
Abby looked at him and was silent for a moment before looking at the couch. "I had to visit my dad in order to do it," she said quietly. She wasnt going to offer up telling him the deal she made to get him to do it either. He wasnt very likely to get out of jail so she wouldnt mention it.
Roland got to his feet quite suddenly. "WHAT?! You went to see your DAD? What the hell are you doing, going to see that bas--" Maria interrupted him. "Roland! Stop it. That's very rude. She can see her father whenever she wants to, especially if it is for an important cause." Roland glared at her, and she took a step back. Kevin was standing there and looking very nervous.
"Abby, I don't want you to ever see that man ever again. After what he did to you, after what he tried to do to the both of us, what the HELL were you thinking?!"
