Abby winced as he yelled at her and she looked away from him with a frown. Her eyes started watering and she bit her lower lip to stop it from trembling. Anger flared through her and hurt just deepened it as he yelled. Standing up quite suddenly, she balled her hands into fists and she was slightly shaking but she didnt look at him. "I was trying to help!! Im sorry!!" She snapped and shoved past him. Tears streaming down her cheeks as she quickly ran out of the room ignoring everyone in her way as she went to her room. Slamming her bedroom door shut, she broke down crying as she curled up in her bed.

When she was in her room, there was another slamming door as Roland went outside. Maria went after him, and Kevin went upstairs. The poor two were stuck with damage control. Kevin tapped lightly on Abby's door. "...sorry, Abby. I guess you're starting to see the temper he's so famous for. He's not mad at you, though. He's just scared. He doesn't want anything to happen to you, and your dad...well, your dad isn't the safest person to be around. He just doesn't want you hurt. Don't take it personal...he doesn't mean to yell."

Abby sniffled and gripped a pillow tightly, burying her head in it. Silently listening to Kevin but making no motion to move from her bed though. It was his yelling that had gotten to her, she wouldnt have minded so much if he had just been mad. But yelling brought back some feelings she didnt want to feel again. After several minutes, she got up slowly and went into her bathroom. Shutting the door, she locked it and splashed her face with cold water. Leaning on the counter, she decided to take a shower and take a hot one. Once she had, she got dressed in pj pants with bubbles on them and a long white T-shirt. Getting into her bed, she didnt come out of her room for dinner or anything else.

Kevin just left her alone, knowing some things couldn't be fixed. Nobody came to get her, surprisingly enough. But the reason could be seen whenever she left her room the next morning; Roland was asleep against the wall right beside her door, sitting there with his legs sprawled out, his head leaning against the wall, and his eyes closed. How long had he been there? It'd only take a question to Maria to find out.

Abby woke up early in the morning and had to listen to her tummy as it complained. Opening her door, she was just about to walk to the kitchen when someone sleeping next to her door tripped her up. Well his legs did anyway. It was rather unexpected for her to find someone sleeping outside of her room. Getting up off the floor, she was surprised to see Roland sleeping next to her door. Crawling over to him, she straddeled his legs since they were in the way. Gently pushing his hair out of his face, she she put her hands on his cheeks and looked at him. "Roland? Babe, why are sleeping outside of my room?" She asked quietly and looked slightly worried that he was.

Roland stirred as she tripped over him, then as she touched his face and spoke. "Hnn..?" He yawned, making her notice his canines were a little sharper than a normal human's, then opened his eyes groggily. "Abby..." He wrapped an arm around her, his head resting against her shoulder. "Sorry..." He yawned again, his eyes closing.

Abby smiled as she saw his canines, he looked so cute when he was sleepy and still wolfish. Then his arm was around her and he was pulling her close with his head on her shoulder. Slowly and gently, she sat down on his lap since she didnt want to move away. Closing her eyes lightly, she put her head on his and pressed a gentle kiss there. "Its okay.." She whispered against his head. Lightly running her fingers through his hair, she was happy just to sit there with him then thought he may be comfortable in a bed. "Roland..wanna sleep in a bed instead of the hall?" She asked quietly.

Roland gave a soft, sleepy grunt. He was tired, and getting to a bed meant moving. He just stayed there, his head resting on her shoulder. He'd just fall right asleep there if she let him, because she was comfy. He liked having her in his lap and being able to lean on her.

Abby fell silent taking that as a no. Slowly and gently running her fingers through his hair, she smiled and let him fall asleep since he needed it. Every now and then placing a light kiss to his head. Slowly, she started falling into a light sleep as she waited.

Roland woke up later, yawning. He took in the scent of Abby and smiled. Her scent must still be on his pillow from the night before. He stretched a little, but when his hand came back down to rest it was on something...soft. And roundish. Roland jerked away so fast that he hit his head against the wall, pulling his hand back quickly too. "Ow!!" He groaned and rubbed the back of his head, opening his eyes. "Abby?? What are you doing here?" He looked around, realizing... "Oh. Right. The hallway."

Abby woke up when Roland jerked his head away, making her head fall for a mere second. Looking at him, level with him now. "Well i was wondering why you were sleeping outside of my room but you seemed a bit too tired to answer," she replied with a small amused smile still sitting on his lap. Brushing his hair away from his face gently, she smiled and looked at his eyes.

Roland blinked. Oh, good. She'd been asleep, so that meant she didn't feel the accidental grab he'd given. "Um...yeah. I was...I was out here because I wanted to apologize, Abby. But you never came out, so..." He sighed and looked at her. "I'm sorry. I just...I yell when I'm upset, and when you said you'd gone to see your dad...it upset me a lot."

Abby kissed him gently, lovingly, and deeply after he apologized not giving him a chance to explain. It was long and slow before she pulled away, smiling. "I love you Roland. I understand why you reacted like that. Its okay.." She whispered against his lips and lightly brushed her thumb along his cheek.

Roland blinked again, but then closed his eyes and kissed her back. He smiled softly at her, then pulled her in for another kiss. Then someone cleared their throat. Roland peeked his eye open to see Maria standing over them with her arms crossed. "I'd appreciate it if you two didn't makeout in the middle of the hallway." she said calmly. Roland pulled back and chuckled. "...right. Morning, Maria." Maria chuckled. "Good morning, Roland and Abby. Breakfast will be ready in five minutes." She stepped past them and went to the kitchen. Roland laughed.

Abby smiled and was kissing him back the second time when Maria cleared her throat. A blush spread across her cheeks and she gave Maria an innocent smile. Then looked really relieved when she said breakfast would be ready soon. "Oh thank goodness. My stomach's been complaining all morning," she said as Maria passed by. A soft laugh leaving her lips as well after she left. Then she gave Roland one small light kiss before getting off his lap, putting a hand out to help him up.

Roland got up after their kiss and he smiled, going with her to have breakfast. He sat down and started eating, watching Abby for a few moments. She was so interesting. He was surprised, really, by how interesting she was. He'd seen many teen girls, after all. But none like her. And he liked that. He liked that a lot.

Abby piled the pancakes high on her plate and drowned them in syrup. Taking several bites before noticing Roland was looking at her. Looking at him, she rose a brow in question. "May i help you?" She asked playfully. A small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

Roland chuckled when she spoke to him. "If you have a problem with me staring, you could stop being so good-looking." He winked at her and then ate his own food, smiling. Maria rolled her eyes, but laughed. "Goodness you two, will I have to live with this loveydoveyness forever?" she teased.

Abby blushed slightly and smiled then went back to eating. Laughing softly at Maria's comment and pausing eating again. "Yup. Good luck," she said with a grin and started eating again. Once she finished, she washed her dishes then put them up. Walking by Roland and giving him a kiss on the cheek before leaving for her room. Shutting the door softly, she got dressed in grey skinnys, a red tank top, a button up purple shirt but left it unbuttoned, and black converse. Sitting on her bed, she put her hand on her Mark. Smiling as she thought about being Rolands mate.

Roland smiled and returned the kiss to the cheek, then when he was done he got dressed as well. After all...there was school today! He tapped on her door once he was ready. "I'm heading out, I'll see you at school, Abby. Please come this time." He smiled, then left. When he saw her later that day, it'd be at his class.
