Gabriel stood quietly in the door, staring out through the glass door in front of him. His costume was pretty simple: he had thrown on some sunglasses and a purple scarf and, boom, he was the Cajun fox from Courage the Cowardly Dog. He stood quietly with a candy bowl tucked into his elbow.
Gabriel looked up to the corner of the door way and the back onto his porch. Their only decorations were some cheep faux spider web spread across their bushes, some fake pumpkins, and Tiny sitting out on their porch, dressed as the grim reaper. Gabriel didn't count the various Halloween-themed, amateur, chalk drawings across their side walk and porch as decorations, and he hoped the trick-or-treaters wouldn't really notice them. He didn't like the drawings at all, really, partially because he had helped and it showed that he wasn't the art friend of the group. He sighed again and waited, listening to Frances clink around cups as he washed dishes in the kitchen.

Nalia typically wore no costume -- generally speaking. There was never really any need. Not unless she were going out into towns and cities... but even then, a simple cloak would have sufficed more than anything. Even on a night like tonight where there were children and adults alike spending time celebrating the Hallow's Eve that had fallen upon them.
However, the topic of Halloween always interested the tiefling. It was a night of reprieve when in towns, cities, and other neighbourhoods that she traversed within. After all, it was nice to actually walk the streets without someone so much as passing as second glance, or staring at you with some look of disgusted intrigue... or worse, a look of disgust and distrust. It was really such a shame that tieflings had gotten a bad reputation just for looking like or having demon-like qualities.
Walking down the pathways just a little more, Nalia soon came across a home that looked occupied by other costumed individuals. Pausing, she looked to them somewhat curiously, seemingly debating with herself before she started making her way to the door. Once she had a better view of the people standing behind the storm screen, Nalia focused her attention upon the person that looked like they were the designated candy giver.
"Evening..." Nalia greeted, glancing between the people she saw there. Hesitating for a moment she hoped that she would be passed off as 'being in character' before she said: "uh... trick... trick or treat."

"Shy one, eh?" Tiny chirped from the steps, leaning back with a smile. "Don't worry, he only bites Fran--" Tiny started with an increasingly smug grin. Gabriel shut him up with a snickers mini to his head.
Gabriel looked back to Nalia, "Whats your costume, dear?" he asked softly as he held the bowl to her, giving her the chance to pick what she thought was best.
