The storm gave the perfect cover up. The lighting that clashed loudly muffled the sound of the weapon used. The clouds made it dark enough for her to travel the shadows. The crowds helped her blend in as the cops rushed onto the scene. Making her lips pull to a smirk. Death in the center of the city. What a poetic way to go.

Nicolas watched the police surround the scene from the top of a nearby building. He normally didn't like to watch the police but he had gotten bored. Nicolas made sure his sword was strapped to his back before vanishing in a swirl of shadows and reappearing at the bottom of the building when no one was looking. He tried his best not to bump into people as he walked away from the scene.

Reaching the Alley ways Anya cut into them to separate from the crowds. She weaved and strolled through them to the next street hoping to reach the tunnels before the police contains the people. And possibly find a fake lead.These norms are always funny to watch as she passed the road as if she was no part of it

Nicolas growled as he bumped into another person. He kept walking until he got to the end of the street. He sighed in relief as he finally escaped the crowd. He turned onto the next street Anya was on but he didn't notice her yet.

Anya hear heard the screams and then someone Called out towards her. She crossed the street pretending to not pay any attention when she was stopped after passing right by Nicholas letting her perfume linger in the air as the man who called for her caught up. He yelled and jabbed a finger at her with threats. Accusing her of killing the man.

Nicolas watched the man call her the killer. He looked at Anya,waiting for her reaction.

Anya looked at the man with disgust. Her hood hiding most of her face as she backed away from the man a bit " YOu did it. YOu little punk! All you hooded teenagers should be tossed into the institution. Anya remained calm until the man swung his hand to her. She caught it " Do not push your accusations at me old man" She said with a voice of a wise woman. Young yet strong and seductive. She squeezed the man's wrist letting him scream a bit and kneel " You stay there. I am not here to hurt " she said tossing his now swollen wrist at him. She turned and glanced at Nicholas with a huff and turned to walk off.

"Are you really the one who killed that person on the street?" Nicolas walked toward her, his hands in his pockets. The other man couldn't hear thier conversation.

She turned to him again The street light only showing her full red lips as they curved up " What if I did?" She asked him.

"Then I'd ask you why did you do it and if the reason is good enough, I'll leave you alone for a while."

"It was a good reason. I even get a reward. He was a dangerous man" she said. Souning bored

"Dangerous man? If you want to deal with someone dangerous, I suggest you don't get on anyone's nerves espeacially mine." Nicolas chuckled to himself." For me, that is a good reason I guess."

Rolling her eyes she looks around "You offer information about how dangerous you are. Hs occurred to yonu that you may not know who I am? How can possibly be an enemy or friend? " When shook her head and sighed. She wasn't in the mood to gain an enemy or be flirted withh even if he Was cute enough to make her stay and conversate

"And I'm guessing you have no idea who I am either, so we're even." Nicolas rubbed his shoulder, his hand brushing against the sword strapped to his back.

Anya looks to his sword and snickering she goes closer to him. Outreaching her hand she grabbed his. Her name whispered into his mind and told him that he may be powerful but he doesn't feel like a threat.

Nicolas blinked when he heard her voice in his head." You can mindspeak?" He whispered. The sword on his back vibrated slightly but he didn't notice.

She breathere what could pass as giggle. Turning she left walking quickly away from him.

Nicolas watched her leave. Making sure no one was lookign, he unsheathed his sword and placed it one the ground, taking a few steps away from it. Black shadows surrounded the sword to reveal a man that looked the same age as Nicolas with black and red hair and red eyes." I don't trust her."

"Nero, you never trust anyone." Nicolas rolled his eyes.

"I'm a demon. What do you expect?" Nero then vanished in a flurry of shadows. Nicolas sighed before he vanished into shadows as well but appeared on top of a nearby roof top.

Anya seen him appear. When alone there was only what was in the shadows that she could not see. He was too far for her to speak. But she made a slight pause and glanced up before walking off again into the train station looking back up at him as if daring him to follow.

Nicolas saw Anya looking back as if waiting for him to follow. Nicolas sighed before appearing a few feet away from her." I'm guessing you saw Nero?" He rubbed the back of his head.
