((Recruitment thread/Looking for RP: Group Viking Role Play))
((IC storyline Vikings: Kill the dragon
King Conrad was known to be a harsh stern ruler, with little mercy at that.
His ways had brought peace and prosperity, albeit with a touch of tense caution and concealed fear.
He had strict laws that everyone was expected to follow which prohibited the use of magic, carrying concealed weapons, refusing guards orders, among other laws and the least transgression was met with the harshest penalties.
Since he ruled with an iron fist, every week, at noon, he would deliver royal announcements and ensure the public reprimand of transgressions as a warning to all citizens to abide by the law
On this occasion, however, his words spoke of dire warning instead.
"My people, our scouts have reported sightings of dragons ravaging our lands. Villages have already been scorched, with cattle and lives and livelihoods lost.
Fear not, I shall raise a party of hunters of the most fearsome kind to combat the beast and bring about its demise. I, king Conrad, so swear to do all I can to protect our kingdom and be rid of our foes" proclaimed Conrad
This was followed with many claps of approval, despite the worried muttering and concerned looks.
Once the proclamation was over king Conrad personally came to bring an ultimatum to those prisoners that he deemed were highly disposable citizens with nothing to loose and much to gain from accepting his bartering.
Their lives and some gold if they agreed to kill the dragon, or the inevitable execution that already lingered over them if they refused

i'm here i guess
If someone holds up the rp we should have a way to work around it so we don't end up stuck
At this point we should just skip mace's response. Maybe after no response for 12 hrs we just continue
tbh i second this
I'm cool with the 12 hour turn limit as well
So I know my turn is next but I'm at work so you guys can just continue on if you'd like I'll hop back in when necessary
yes ma'am
oh, great, it's my turn :^/

all good man, i'm kidding lol
Maybe we should make this a little more free form order?
Every turn characters can move/talk in any order as long as A it makes sense (ex someone asks a question to you, your character can respond to it. Or if your character has internal thoughts/plans, etc etc) and B they're not completely dominating the chat.
We could also limit replies on certain turns, for example on a big decision/event/ moment anyone can take their turn once (or twice if interaction is necessary) but for the turn to progress all players have to have had a chance to make their turns. and if needed we can have a time limit on those events say 3 or 4 days before that persons turn is skipped?
Just an idea I had while we're waiting, also I believe it's Tusitala's turn
