For centuries, the world lived in peace. The magic wielders and the Humans lived in harmony. Trading, and able to coexist together. Magic wielders, whether they were human sorcerers, or they were a completely different species altogether. The humans lived under a monarch. One king, one kingdom. And unfortunately, the peace that was rampant all throughout the land would end as the old king died, and the humans were forced to elect a new king. The king that they would elect was cruel and harsh, and declared war on all people and beings that could positively identify themselves as “magic wielder”, whether it be humans who use magic, or a different species entirely.
From that day forward, it was the human's against everyone else. The humans rampaged village after village of all those who were considered magic wielders, taking everything they had before burning them to the ground. During these rampages and plunders, if the magic wielders weren't killed they were captured and imprisoned, fated to be servants of humans. If they were unlucky enough to be servant to the king, they would face inhumane experiments, and be put in fighting rings for bets among the humans, fighting to the death for their entertainment. If that didn't happen, then you were on the run from humans, traveling from village to village and scavenging for food since yours was pillaged. If that didn't happen, then you were probably fighting against the humans on the battlefield, hoping to defend your homeland and the lives of your people.

(Hello guys! And thank you for reading this far! I'm assuming this means your interest is at least piqued? It is?! GOOD!! ^-^ For starters, I posted this topic before, it was extremely good! In fact, we got 70 pages deep! Unfortunately, due to bickering among members, and people getting so upset that it caused them to leave, it left me no choice but to drop out as well...which is why I'm trying again! For those of you who were interested last time and didn't get the chance to, this is a second chance to join the topic!!
What I'm looking for: People who can write a MINIMUM of 5 sentences, or a paragraph! The longer the better, but if you write 2 sentences consistently, I will be asking you to drop out. People who are willing to calmly talk things out if issues arise and are willing to cooperate. If something comes up and your not happy, please be willing to compromise and come up with solutions! Also you are completely welcome and INVITED to play as a human! If anybody wishes to be the ruthless ruler, then feel free to do so! Though I will be messaging you and asking for details!

I didn't get to participate the first time, so I'm glad for the second chance. I was thinking Arun-Ja would be best for this roleplay, as he is an Argonian sorcerer who can wield the power of dark magic, summoning, and storm conjuring.

Seeing as my character came from birth of a king and such, I wouldn't like to have my noble stature broken down. I've played countless roles as an antagonist and will have no problem applying as the ruler. I can potentially have a few things changed in Ren's story, but that will be a discussion I'd like to make personal.

As per usual, I'd like to let everyone know that 1. I am Aussie and have a mismatched timezone to ya'll and 2. I am still a Student, so, like, yeah, that kinda sucks. But I'm on here often enough that I should be able to respond frequently!

Mitch is a Monster of some kind, who appears like a human child but feeds off their flesh instead. He's pretty old and has regenerating powers, but is considerably weak and frail- like most 13 year old boys would be. Mits is a manipulative little brat too; he'll lure you in with cuteness and then push you off a cliff. Maybe. His stomach is a pocket dimension too- or at least I like to say so. He has one wicked appetite.

Basically, she was a great shapeshifter but got 'kicked' out of the Holy lands because of certain reasons. Now, she can only shift between bird and 'human' and that's about it. May I ask that if Ray were allowed, that she retained her abnormal strength and stuffs? I mean, she's a creepy, lazy bird woman. I don't expect her to do too much other than flirt, laze around, call people idiots and occasionally be a completely evil psychopath.
