FathomsDeep, the pixelmuse, awakened in the aether in 1996, and has been wandering the infinite worlds there ever since.
In my wanderings I've explored roleplay in webchats, forums, bulletin boards, IM's, and various MMO worlds, and I cannot imagine I will stop any time soon. I enjoy classic fantasy, exotic fantasy, sci-fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, post-apocalypse, gothic, horror, time-travel, and superhero roleplays, as well as dark and erotic variants of all of the above. I prefer my Rp to be adult in that I don't like to impose artificial limitations and boundaries, (such as the "fade-to-black" and the "don't go there",) although I'm entirely in support of players who take responsibility for their own comfort levels. (Better by far to bow gracefully out of a scene *before* it becomes unbearable, offensive, or triggering!)
I believe that the term "para-RP" is overused. Longer is only better when it's truly relevant. I would much rather read a single,well-crafted line than a long paragraph filled with irrelevant details and information that my character could not possibly perceive. Words are a magical paint which can be applied too thickly OR too thinly, just as easily.
I am currently pursuing most of my Rp in GW2, and have an ear to the ground for Rps in SWTOR and ESO.

Many thanks to you, too!
Welcome to RPR. I'm Asroc. I RP many and mostly Canons, but I am friendly to OC RPers and will RP with them. I do mainly AU RPs as them. Enjoy your time here.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone, and Ender- I'm taking my time, exploring the site, settling in. It's been a while since I've done directly forum, play-by-post rp, so it may take a while for me to settle in.
