Of course, Epicness isn't the only prize. There's also free character slots, free character art, and bookmarks.

I bet a starter version of telling who is in the chat could just be saying the number of people there. That'd be an easy way to begin, until I can get around to larger development changes. And it would not create issues for the anonymous users.
