I am often stumped for a long time on how to do new features, and I generate lists of the same kinds of things. Sometimes talking about them helps.

Maybe have a tag-all that applies to anonymity?

One that applies to anonymous users/characters in general. If they enter in, then they just get called "anonymous" in the sidebar.
