Does anyone have/want to do a high-fantasy RP? Something where magic is very common but not too common, like for example some magical creatures are rare?
I'm thinking, maybe one where magical creatures are rare, but magic itself is common? (P.S. I'd prefer magical creature characters are allowed) Perhaps a plot like where the king of the kingdom (whatever the kingdom will be called) is corrupted by his devotion to a god, that he starts forcing his kingdom to believe in this god (think Claude Frollo in the Hunchback of Notre Dame but it's not exactly the same) and even makes a deal with the god who went into dragon form to meet the king to "turn" his currently UN-believing subjects to become pretty much worship zombies. Of course there will always be the group that does not agree and as such they attempt to kill the God in dragon form (who is actually still immortal in that form but they don't know). And that will be the plot for now.
What do you guys think? Maybe different plot? Other ideas? Would you join?

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.

More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
