Hello! So I just joined this with word from a stranger an estimated 15 mins. ago. As the title suggests, i'm kinda nervous on here... This website looks too advanced for me. Anyone have a similar first experience? If so please tell me how you cooped with this feeling. Thanks in advance stranger/potential friend!

Can't say I've had a similar experience, but I do know that the site can definitely be confusing. The help section covers a TON, so definitely read that first. It's right here. The easiest thing to do would to just travel around the site a bit and observe other people. Just glancing in the Looking for RP section can give you an idea of how to get an RP started.
As far as being anxious goes, don't be! Everyone on the site is incredibly kind, and you can always ask a member for help or advice on subjects. Hope this helps a bit!

Hi and welcome! And yes I was very shy so shy in fact I sort of left for like 2 months then came back. I just suggest, for starters, if you don’t want to make a RP, make at least one of your characters a human. 90% of the roleplays here work well with only human or human-like characters. I didn’t really cope with it, I just decided to come back when I had an itch for forum RP and started looking for an interesting one to join. So that’s what I suggest, if you aren’t picky, make a human character and look for a RP in the Looking for RP board. (But if you want to do "animal", you can ask about that in the same board, too.) Oh and the Looking for RP boards are actually kind of fast, so if something is at the bottom of the page chances are it probably isn’t dead, because new RP ideas just come up every day and some curious people will bring back topics that are still looking but were in the page before. I’ve noticed people aren’t actually actively rude about your RP skills, so if you’re down there just expect to not be able to join some advanced RPs, and that would be it.

My oldest (irl time speaking) character is Arye. A non-gender a very, very, flexible RP character. His/her default form is a human/goat so i think he/she will work out great! Love the support and dedication to write all that to me! I hope we can be buds sometime!

Let me tell you/anybody reading this a story that made my mood set like this at first. 2 years ago, I did rp's. And the people who did them, were assholes, blocking me for not writing back soon enough, banning me randomly, and lying about incidents involving me that never happened! I'm glad I can still RP and do so with extremely nice people! Much obliged Jence!

Try not to take things too personally. Collaborative writing is a tricky thing, and that's what we do here. Styles clash or your partner could be looking for something you don't put out. Invest in your writing and your stories and feel free to develop friendships, but don't be discouraged when things don't work out. There's always the next story.

Hello and welcome!^^ and dont worry, i too had this feeling when i first joined. There is ALOT to see and learn of this site but i can guarantee you that the more discover, the more you will be delighted and excited to use this site! Not sure if this could apply to everyone but from where i came from (RPG) they....well lets say they hadnt thought the site through very much. Though dont get me wrong, i loved RPG and it was great in soooo many ways^^ but i feel like this site is more thought through. There is these small things and features that is so uselful and handy that it makes all the diffrence. (for me personally) and i find my stay here very enjoyable because of it. And i hope you will too^^ and well if not, there is plenty of people who are eager to help or answer questions^^ (sadly im not one of them because i am quite busy with stuff and well im only a month old here soo xD)
