It was a cool, crisp November morning, a prime time of year to take a cruise along the beautiful coastlines of the kingdom of Betelgeuse. Things went about like normal, the ship journeyed around showing off some of the famous sights in the crystal clear Azure Bay, however due to a navigational error, this lovely cruise would end up taking a turn for the worst. While you'd think a navigational error could easily be fixed, especially with an experienced captain such as the one behind the wheel. As the cruise goes on its unexpected scenic route, a storm happens to wash over you guys. This storm causes a massive tidal wave, knocking your ship towards an ancient island, one that's only been spoken of in legends. This strange island was supposedly inhabited by the mythical Fox Demons. After washing ashore on the strange land, you band together with your fellow survivors in hopes of returning to civilization.

As the plot suggests, this is a simple island survival type RP. It takes place in a modern fantasy setting. I'm looking for 1-4 players to join me in this RP. Simply reply down below and we can discuss details. Romance is possible, there is a high chance for character death. I don't mind magic, but make sure it isn't overdone. The plot runs mostly on character interaction and their decisions. I'd prefer posts to run from 1-3 paragraphs. Respond done below to join :D

Overview of the Island:

Insel-Fuchse, or the Island of the Foxes is a group of small landmasses off the southwestern coast of Betelgeuse. It is made up five major islands and multiple smaller islands. This strange land is home to a number of fox demons each with their own unique culture and lifestyle.

There are four deities that live within this strange place, however they are simply referred to as the Sacred Vulpines. Each have different abilities and backgrounds, but they are generally considered to be the creators of the fox clans.

Crimsonia:
The second largest clan that's is notable for being masters of fire magic. The region is notable for its culture that vaguely mirrors many European cultures, specifically German, English, French, and Spanish cultures. The people of Crimsonia can shapeshift into the red fox (vulpes vulpes) and are notable for being hardy folks that take pride in their homeland. The population mostly consists of farmers, business owners, and oddly enough, preachers. They follow the teachings of Crimsonia, the namesake of their homeland.

Arctia:
A bitterly cold landscape known for its rugged landscape, large forests, and infertile land that's generally considered to be pretty poor for farming. Since vegetables and fruits are generally hard to come by, these foxes have become adept hunters and often prey upon the forest critters that rely upon the lush pine trees in the snowy parts of the land. The people of Arctia can shapeshift into the Arctic fox (vulpes lagopus) and are notable for being swift, intelligent creatures that are masters of ice magic. The majority of the people work in lumber and mining industries, though fishing and hunting are common jobs as well. They follow the teachings of Arctia, the namesake of their home.

Culpeo
A highly variable island that is dominated by a large lake, multiple forests and four river systems. Needless to say, these people are pretty well off thanks to the nearly endless amounts of resources at their disposal. The many resources around their home has given the Culpeo a rather refined, luxurious lifestyle that most can only dream of. They have an abundance of fish, lumber, and agriculture thanks to the beautifully fertile land at their disposal. These hardworking, but pampered foxes can shapeshift into the Culpeo fox (Lycalopex culpaeus) and are masters of cosmic magic. This magic is likely what helped them become so powerful, as this specialized magic has numerous perks that they could take advantage of. They follow the teachings of Culpeo, the namesake of their home.

Kitsiasia
A strange clan that claims dominion over two major landmasses. They are considered to have been the first of the fox demons to come across the archipelago, as such, they've got plenty of influence over the other clans. Their islands are similar to that of Culpeo's, having numerous resources available thanks to the large bay that lies within their northern territory, while their southern territory is considered to be rather sacred due to it supposedly being the birthplace of the four deities. The Kitsiasia clan are capable of shapeshifting into the Kit fox {Vulpes macrotis) and are masters of lightning magic. They follow the teachings of Kitsiasia, the namesake of their home.

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.

Industrial revolution
Combat 10%
Small possibility of combat, usually brief and not detailed.

It's all good. I'd just compare the world to something like Harry Potter.
