Howdy! I'm Deja (screen name) but I'll respond to anything really. I'm new to this site and just looking for some friends. I come from G+, RolePlay.me, and Pinterest. They were good sites but not very diverse. The main reason I left the latter two is that everyone wanted to do "sexy/kinky" roleplays. Well, I don't do that. I can do any RP (although if you want to do D&D style I've only played once be warned) but I love fandoms. I've been RPing for at least 3-4 years and have just entered an online RPG! So yeah, feel free to DM me whenever!

Hey there, it sounds like you've had some pretty hit or miss experiences on those other sites. I can't 100% confirm that it's all rainbows and light here, but I've been around for a month and a half and everyone I have talked to has been warm and welcoming, so that's a good start!
I found it was useful to lurk the forums to get my bearings and sort of figure out who's who. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! And if you want to dive right in to RP, there are a number of ways to do it.

Welcome, Deja! I think if you stick to the general roleplay venues, you won't have to worry too much about people approaching for sexy plots.
People are also really patient here when it comes to time between posts, so long as you let them know that your posting will be slow.
