Nakir (played by sahloknir)

Pain. It started in his back, so sharp he woke with a cry. It spread, becoming a throbbing pain all over, and he wondered briefly if he looked himself over, would his skin be bruised? Expect, the pain seeped into his bones and he was sure if he tried to stand, he would fall immediately. His eyes fluttered open, straining against the darkness of the night. The night. He never saw the night. It was always so light... his hand spread out over the forest's floor and his brow furrowed as he grasped at long strands of grass. He sat up too quickly and his hand came to his temple, head exploding in pain, the same way his back had. As the white shirt he wore stuck to his back, blood soaking through which was unknown to him, an even sharper sting of panic rushed through him. It only caused more pain when he attempted to twitch wings which were no longer there. The panic rose and his breathing was labored. Why was he here? Where was here? Why could he not feel the feathers on his back?

When he pulled his hand from his temple to steady himself in his sitting position, he found blood trailing down his hand. It wasn't a substance he'd seen a while and he worriedly glanced around him, attempting to find the source. Maybe he'd gotten it over himself trying to protect them... come to think of it, he really wasn't sure what happened before the moment he woke up. He leaned over, trying to push himself up, but he found himself too weak to be able to and he collapsed, biting his lip as he tried to steady his breathing and repress the whimpering. What was wrong with him?
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo had just stolen some bread from a town not so far from the forest, but unfortunately the a villager saw her and now she had a whole mop after hr within minuets. The mod didnt follow her into the forest but she kept on running. Sweat dripped from her forehead and her heart beating fast as she ran through the forest and over logs. Echo looked back to check if anyone was there when all of a sudden she hit something solid on the ground and went tumbling. When she finally stopped rolling she hit her head on a tree; Echo grabbed her head groaning," Arrg what was that?" echo looked up to see a blood soaken human. She gasped sharply and scrambled to get up but quickly fell to the ground; her ankle was sprained. "I ...I dont know who you are but if you dont get out of here i'll hurt you." She hissed trying to act tough, but she was secretly really scared ~Why does this human have blood everywhere? What is he doing here in the middle of the night? Normally humans dont come to the forest and when they do they are in groups and they hunt.~ She stared at the human wide eyed and still trying to catch her breath.

Nakir started, pulling himself back into a partial sitting position just after something had tripped over him, despite the severe pain he was in. Gold and silver gaze flashed with fear. His stomach knotted and his hands trembled, he pushed himself back a couple inches, staring at Echo. He had nothing. No wings, no sword, and no recollection of how he even got there. He was sure it was Earth, but the brief sight of horns had him thinking it was something different. However, he couldn't feel the energy a demon would usually give off... he was hoping that meant this was not a demon and not the possibility that he lost even that ability. So why did they possess horns? Was he still not on Earth, then? "P-please... I-I don't know... where I am..." His voice was quiet and rough, shaking. He glanced at her feet, mouth twisting in a concerned frown. Whatever she was, she must've hurt herself if she couldn't stand, either. He was sure he could've fixed it before... before... He wasn't sure what happened. He only held vague memories, and the idea that he was out of place. He shut his eyes, trying to get a picture of the events that caused him to be appear where he was - bruised and battered, at the least. He still wasn't aware that the blood had been his own, surprisingly. He only ever knew of the gold ichor. His face quickly contorted in pain, however. The bracelet around his wrist began to glow and shrink against his skin, burning into it. He clinched his teeth, barely holding back a cry of pain as he attempted to grab the object with his right hand. It kept burning, though, and he couldn't remove it. He finally opened his eyes, mind refocusing on the several points of pain across his body. With him distracted from trying to remember, the burning bracelet subsided and returned to it's original size, dimming before completely losing it's glow. "W-wha..." His eyes quickly returned to Echo's face, practically pleading without words. All he wanted was a chance to understand before she attacked him.
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo stared at the human, she could read the fear on his face...Was he even human? He seemed different. Echo furrowed her eyebrows and took a huge chance. She crawled over to the strange man, "Who are you? How do I know you arent going to try to kill me?" She said softly still wondering if this man was going to kill her, she though ~I have to be nice, I dont want to act the way the villagers act towards me.. but still I will tread wary.~ echos hair moved as a gust of wind swept through the area. Her purple esque type skin looked black in the dark.. So she could understand why this man was scared of her.

The fallen angel released a shaky breath, watching her carefully as she moved closer. He couldn't get away, he realized, if she did attack him. He couldn't even stand, let alone attempt running away from her. But she never appeared to move toward him with malicious intent and when she spoke, his shoulders relaxed slightly. He still trembled, though that was due to the amount of blood he'd lost and the pain that seemed to get stronger each minute, adrenaline no longer numbing. The wind against his back caused him to shiver, the blood causing it to affect him the same it would if one was to stand in the wind soaking wet. His eyes widened slightly as he saw she had not been in the shadows, but her skin really had been a different color than that of a human's. His gaze pulled up past her face, to her horns again, then back to her eyes. He blinked, inclining his head and allowing his hair to fall forward, which he saw clumps stuck together with the blood and he gasped quietly, already bloodied hand running over the stained almost-white hair. He feared whoever's blood it was, he might've hurt them. He looked back up at Echo a third time, his eyelids feeling heavier. "I-I... My name is Nakir... P-please, I do not want to hurt you." He glanced at her ankle again. If anything, he just wanted to help her. "Was there anyone near by... s-someone that needs help? I-I think..." He pursed his lips, a wave a dizziness hitting him. "... I-I need to help them... and then... Then I can help you."
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo started at him softly ~wow he doesnt really want to hurt me...~ She blinks, "I think I sprained my ankle when I tripped over you... P..Please you look more hurt let me help you. If there was only a way to get you back to my home..." Echo sat and thought for a moment, her wing twitched, "My..MY WINGS." She exclaimed. She spread her wings they came out from behind her cloak, "i think I can fly you to my home but will you let me? I can help you there" She said softly. Echo crawled closer to the strange man, looking him over. ~Yeah I think I can carry him..I just hope he lets me and doesnt think im vile like the rest of everyone else.~

Nakir became confused. Yes, he was in a lot of pain, but he doubted she could tell that. Maybe the burning bracelet was what she had been referring to because he still would not think the blood was his. He jumped, blinking rapidly as she exclaimed suddenly. There was a tingle across his back as he watched her unfurl wings hidden away beneath the cloak. As if becoming aware of his own missing wings again also caused pain to resurface, another bout of sharp pain ran through and he cringed. He shook his head, but quickly stopped because that made the growing headache worse. Another time. "No, no... please, I have to... find whoever's blood this is. They could... be seriously hurt, a-and it's... my duty to help them. A-and you. I-I don't require... anything..." Maybe just some rest, he thought. Some time to think about what was going on. The main thing coming to his mind was he must've had his energy depleted, which never had happened to him before, so obviously he had no experience to tell whether that was true or not. As for his missing wings... obviously dark magic was at work. Being cast out of his home was the last thing on the list of possibilities was keeping a tab on in his mind. "A-and... a sprained ankle... I-I'm sorry I was... in your way. I-I can fix it... as soon as..." He trailed off, slowly looking around again and trying to stand from his position, everything spinning. "Just... need to find... them..."
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo looked very confused, "That blood is yours," She said as she ran her fingers across his back and shows him the blood on your hands, "This is your blood, you're bleeding from your back and alot of other places too, you must be delusional from blood lose." Echo started to panic, "H..Here ill take you to help you just need to let me." She stared at him, her eyes gleamed a bit, "Please trust me sir, I know how to heal, And you're in great pain I can tell by your facial expressions."Echo was worried that he wouldn't accept the help so she kept pressing. Her dark skin and hair blended into the night making her look like a shadow more than anything. Another small breeze came through and she shivered.

He collapsed again, right hand to his head and his left barely holding him a couple inches from the face-planting. "Your blood." Nakir wanted to draw away from her when she touched his back, but he couldn't. Tears welled in his eyes, finally, as he looked at her hand, covered in blood. His blood? He glanced down at his hand and brushed it against his bleeding temple, feeling fresh blood trickle down the side of his face. "No... no, no..." It would explain so much, but he wouldn't believe it. It couldn't be true. He glanced at the bracelet around his wrist, finally noticing the jagged crack in it. The fallen angel tried to speak again, but words failed him and his eyes finally slid close as tears fell. He slumped over, finally passing out from the blood loss.
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo watched the confused human fidel around himself looking every which way in a panic before passing out,"Here is my chance." She said quietly. Echo spread her wings again and scooted near the Human man, she carefully picked him up bridal style making sure to have a nice grip on him before taking off. She flew a bit wobbly since she doesn't fly very often. She normally uses her wings to glide between trees and such. Echo finally reached her little cabin in the middle of no where, she hovered by the door and stretched her hand out to open it, careful not to drop the strange man. Echo finally went inside and laid him on the bed before collapsing her self., "oomf" Echo expressed. She reached for some near by bandages to wrap up her foot so its more stable. Echo tried to get up again. She could walk but it was a hard limp. Echo quickly lit some candles to see the strange humans inguries. "Gasp" She exclaimed as the human had gashes and cuts everywhere. echo quickly went to work taking a wet cloth and carefully sponging up the blood, She striped him carefully of his shirt so she could work more thoroughly. After cleaning up the human Echo started using up the last of her bandages to wrap up this poor soul. Echo took a limped step back to admire her work at cleaning him up. "Hmm I better get to work on some food." She said softly. She slowly walked over to a stove type thing and begun boiling some water to make soup.

Nakir was completely out, not even stirring when his was wounds were being bandaged. Even his dreams were silent. He was finally stirring when Echo began working at the stove. He groaned, curling on his side, which caused his back to flare in pain and he whimpered, eyes opening slightly as he squinted at the place around him. Everything was sore and panic was slowly rising in him again. His eyes dart to the blood soaked shirt laying near by and then the tiefling standing near by, back to him. He reached his hand over his shoulder, fingers brushing against the bandages covering the wounds from missing wings. Tears welled in his eyes again as he finally realized the weight of the situation, of what was happening. The fallen angel ran his hand through his now wet hair, still pink with thinned blood, and strands fell in his face as he tried hiding both eyes with a hand. What had he done wrong? Why was he here? He trembled, eyes shut tight as he cried silently. Partially due to the physical pain, but the emotional pain was ten times worse than the gashes along his back or the seemingly invisible bruises. He realized now that the overall feeling of weakness and as if he'd been kicked around must have been from Falling.

Nakir bit his lip when he'd made a soft noise, a quiet gasp as a sob threatened to escape. He didn't want Echo to know he was awake. She must've been the one to provide the bandages and light clean up, and so she might not want to hurt him now, but he was still afraid. He was a failure and a mess.
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo sat on a chair next to the stove stirring a pot full of veggies and spices. She took a laddle and poured some into a small bowl for the strange human. She got up on her feet and limped over to him carefully not to spill the soup. Echo finally got to where the man was supposedly sleeping. She set the hot bowl down on the night stand next to the bed. Echo pulled up a char and sat next to him, softly placing her hand on his shoulder and gently shaking him,

"Hey sir, you must wake up. I got food ready for you." She said softly, almost like a mother caring for her young. Echo glanced at his back checking to see how his wounds were doing ~They seem to be doing okay in the bandages~ She thought to her self ~Wow I did pretty good~ Echo smiled. her purple skin shone by the candle light and her long silky black hair was thrown in a messy braid that fell over her shoulder and her soft silver eyes laid apon him, worried that the human was more hurt than she had thought.

"Sir please wake up, tell me youre okay?" Echo said worriedly waiting a pon a response.

Nakir did he best to relax as he heard her move around, coming closer to the bed. Still, the hand over his eyes trembled lightly and he didn't respond at first. The stew smelled good, but he didn't deserve it. She should have just left him out in the forest, to bleed to death. If he had been casted out, he didn't deserve any of the partial kindness she showed him. He drew in a sharp breath when he felt her hand on him. He stilled. Hopefully if he just pretended to continue sleeping, she would leave him. It didn't work, he realized as over a minute passed and she was still there, speaking to him again. She was persistent. His hand lowered from his face, resting on the bed as he looked at her with puffy and red eyes, tears streaking his face.

"I-I'm awake..." he murmured, throat tight. His gaze met hers and he couldn't help his small gasp. It may have been rude, but Nakir wasn't aware of the unspoken rules this culture set. He only knew that purple skin wasn't the norm. His specialty had been humans, and he falsely assumed this had been a human with a tiefling parent. Being a guardian angel, he had to deal with learning about hybrid children in case he had eventually been assigned to protect them. He sat up finally, eyes trained on her face, and leaned toward her, sniffling. "A-are... you sick? I h-haven't... seen this b-before, but I c-can... I think I can h-help..." He wasn't aware that might have been offensive, but you couldn't blame an ignorant angel, could you?
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo smiled and lifted her hand off of the awaking human, "Ah Im glad you're awake, I made you some food sir, "She said pointing to the bowl of soup. Echo's eye were bright and hopeful, her soft skin glowing with the candle light and her ear twitched. Echo's smile dropped as the human stared at her and gasped and talk about her skin color,

"Oh..this? No..no im not sick im part dark elf..I guess you didnt know. But thats okay!" She said with a fake smile, trying not to show her despair. ~Maybe this human will be scared by me after all or disgusted..~ She thought to herself in anguish. Echo hoped that this human liked her though, then maybe she could get some information out of him, like his name and why he was laying in the forest all alone and covered in blood.

"There was supposed to be bread with your soup but I dropped it when I crashed into you, Im very sorry about that by the way. I should've been paying attention." Echo said softly feeling bad for what happened. She shouldn't really be stealing bread anyways but she had no money.
Nakir (played by sahloknir) Topic Starter

Nakir's eyes widened momentarily, confused as to how she'd had such an unnatural complexion, yet wasn't sick. Quickly, the unspoken question was answered, though and he deflated. Of course. He forgot about the dark elves. Some part of him had been hoping maybe he was down here to protect a human and not because he'd been cast out of heaven. Looks as if that had been just another foolish hope. "O-Oh, I apologize. I didn't... realize..." His eyes darted from her bright eyes to her pointed ears. He knew nothing about elves. How stupid of him. He shrunk back from her, glancing at the previously mentioned bowl of food as he brought his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around his legs.

He wiped at his face, clearing his throat and shaking his head. Tears quickly replaced those he swept away, but it still tried to pretend as if he wasn't distressed. "Th-that's... very kind of you... the food. I'm sorry I... I was in the way... for you to trip over me." He tried for a small smile, "You really didn't have to... make me food..." The least he could say in his situation, however, was that the first soul he met was even kinder than some angels and that was saying a lot. Maybe Earth wasn't so bad, but he knew he wasn't here for some gleeful visit. No wings and no ichor meant he was technically human... to others at least.

Hand still trembling, he ran his fingers across a bandage on his arm. "I-I can... repay you. For the bread you... lost." How he would do that was another question for tomorrow, perhaps. He bit his lip again, a habit that was long formed and even worse when he was anxious. "I-I am sorry for assuming... you were sick. I just... never seen... a-and I was worried."
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo read his facial expressions like a book, her light eyes scanning her face. He wasn't very good at hiding them which was weird to her, there was alot of things he did that was weird; like the way he talked. ~who is this guy~ echo thought to her self.

"No no dont apologies, its all good. I know im pretty strange looking anyways." Echo chuckles. "Im kinda glad I tripped over you because if I hadn't gotten there you might've died from blood loss. The soup is the least I could do...I cant imagine the pain you went through before which caused all this?" Echo said sweetly, laying her hand on top of his, and smiling brightly. Her eyes sparkling. Echo brushed her hair away and grabbed the soup bowl. She scooped some up in a spoon and blowing on it gently then held it near his face

"oh no you dont have to repay me, I can just got get some more in the morning. I...I got some change anyways." Echo said knowing that it was stolen money, but sometimes her food just doesn't sell well that day or she doesn't have enough ingredients to make it.
Nakir (played by sahloknir) Topic Starter

"I don't think it's strange... just I've... never seen an elf before. I never really... learned about them." Nakir glanced at her hand as she put it over his. He couldn't understand why she was being so kind. Maybe she didn't realize the possibilities of what kind of person he was. When she moved to grab the bowl, his hand became cold and he curled it into a fist, setting his other hand over it. He imagined their was pain leading up to the moment he landed in the forest, but he couldn't remember it. Either way, it was painful even after... more so, he found, after the adrenaline faded and no longer numbed his senses. "Why did you... save me? Y-you should've just... left me out there." He crossed his eyes to stare at the spoonful of stew being offered to him. He wanted to say no, but it looked rather good and never had much chance to try Earthly food. After a moment of hesitation, he opened his mouth and at the offer of cooked vegetables. While he slowly chewed again, he looked away, contemplating the taste.

"No, I will repay you. It's... really good. And you d-didn't have to." He drew in a shaky breath, glancing at his blood soaked shirt again, the majority of the blood staining the back. His wings. What he would do to find what happened... He glanced at the golden bracelet on his wrist. He wasn't sure what triggered it's burning abilities, but he already had an inkling of an idea of what it was. "I-I'm sorry to be a bother... do you have another shirt? I-I will have to wash that one..." His eyes moved to the window, "When it's l-light out." At least Earth had a light cycle. Other places barely got to see the sun for an hour before it ducked away and left the world in darkness again. He shivered at that thought, he already hated the darkness, to live in it constantly? There was no way he would survive that.
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo thought it was strange why he would learn about them. , "Why would you earn about elves? if you dont mind me asking. Also I saved you because im just a nice person I guess...I could never leave someone to die.." Echo replied shyly. She smiled as he took a bite of the soup. She always loved it when people enjoyed her cooking.

,"Oh sir please dont repay me. Its really no big deal. Also yes let me find something for you." Echo chuckled softly, she set the soup aside and got up, limping over to her closet she pulled out a big black robe, "This will have to do. Its the biggest piece of clothing I have. Echo said gently as she walked over to him and layed it out on the bed. Echo sat back down and grabbed the bowl of soup, blowing on the spoon before offering him more food to eat.
Nakir (played by sahloknir) Topic Starter

Nakir's face flushed as he realized what he had said. Obviously, the way she responded, that was not the norm here. He bit his lip, wanting to tell her something different than the truth. If he told her how he'd fallen, she might try to kick him out. If she knew how disgraceful he was, how much a horrible person he must've been... at least those he knew, the other angels, would've done just that. He glanced up, wondering if Father was watching him now or if he could care less. "Just... something my people did..." It wasn't a lie. No, in the very basic way, that was the exact truth. The longer he could stop her from finding out who he really was, the better. "You're very kind... He brought his silver and gold gaze back to her face, brows furrowing. "I don't think I got y-your name... miss."

She was insistent on him not repaying her, but that only made him wish to repay her more. It was a good quality, he knew, when someone did not expect payment, but it always gave them a chance to be used. Nakir wasn't going to take advantage of that. He watched her as she stood, grabbing the robe and bringing it back to him. Slowly, he uncurled himself from hugging his legs, stretching them over the edge of the bed and brushing his hands against the sheets beneath him. "O-oh, thank you... I'm sorry to bother. I really am." He was hesitant in grabbing the robe, for one because he felt bad even being here. For a second, he rarely wore dark clothing. It was more a preference than any kind of superstition, but being surrounded by light colors and bright sunlight all the time tended to have that effect on angels.

Carefully, he reached over and pulled it to him. He pulled it over his shoulders and pushed his arms through the sleeves, glancing back at the elf-tiefling when she sat back down as he adjusted the robe around him. Playing with the hem of the sleeve, he smiled sheepishly before taking the second offering of the spoonful of stew. When he finished that mouthful, he pulled his legs back onto the bed and crossed them like a kid sitting down for a story. "W-who... uhm, who taught you to cook?" It was slightly random, considering Nakir's situation, but it was a honest question.
Echo (played by NixiPixi)

Echo listened intently her brain buzzed with questions and curiosity, as the man spoke ~Hm his people?~ She thought curiously. Echo started to wonder if this man was even an actually human but something else, he just acted off. She couldn't put her finger one it but just something did fee l like human with this man. Echo snapped out of thought as she heard him ask for her name and she gave a bright smile instantly,

My name is Echo..May I get yours sir?" She asked intriguingly wondering if a name could help her find out more about him, Maybe he was some sort of humanoid, but then she also wondered why he wasn't disgusted or thought her odd hybrid was weird or even looked down apon her. Most being wouldn't let her touch them and rather die on the forest floor than expect her help or else they would be "Tainted. Echos ears flickered as she was being spoken too again and moved her hair back out of her face,

"No no dont be sorry, you arent bothering me," Echo let out a small giggle, "I actually taught myself how to cook," She explained softly as she set the bowl down on the table next to him watching him put the dark robe on, ~He looks so human, this is very interesting~ She thought,

Is it comfy" Echo said playfully as she snickered at him. She noticed he dosent seem to want to be here, Echo hoped it wasn't because of her. She did really want to help him. This is one of the first beings besides animals to accept her help and it made her feel nice and she didnt want this feeling to go away.
