The soldiers nodded and continued on their path. If they were lucky they would get there within five hours...unless someone or something interrupted them. If they were lucky they would make it unscathed. They would need their strength for the war.
Brac slipped to the back of the group next to Logan, and in a hushed voice he spoke to him. "Do you believe that this king is calling to us for aid in a war effort?" Brac looked forward to ensure none of the soldiers were listening to their conversation. "I was on a battlefield just a while ago and whatever this king needs help with isn't just normal war or run of the mill dark magic."
Logan kept his chilling grey eyes to the front, though he did not ignore to there warrior.
"Considering just who he is gathering, I would assume it's more then any run of the mill battle. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from looks alone, you don't seem to be any other mundane soldier."
The black haired, winged man spoke in a low whisper. He stood exactly the same height as Brac, and both of them towered over most of the other's in the group. Likely a result of their origins. Logan being a 'fallen angel' of sorts, and Brac being from wherever he was. He unfolded his massive wings slightly, stretching the muscles beneath the feathers. It had been over a day since he last flew, and his wings were starting to get stiff.

Brac eyed the man's wings more with curiosity than suspicion or caution.
"I'm most certainly not like these grunts, however I am more connected to them than even their family may be. I'm linked to the eternal flame of humanity, as long as I am linked I am apart of humanity itself. Even angels struggle to understand what I have become, but nonetheless they're the best help I've had understanding what I've become."
Brac looked off into the distance gazing at the falling sun.

As the men were talking. A scout came back to the formation with two horses missing their riders. He reports of Bandits having gotten the riders when they were pushing ahead for threats. The two horses were given to the Angel and The Beast.
After that it didn't take them long to reach the castle.
They arrived by nightfall and we're escorted by a royal advisor to the king's throne. Inside was the kind surrounded by his Honor guard. A man dressed in brilliant gold and white armor, and a fair elf. Who appeared to be of the magical persuasion.

The horse that was given to Logan was a magnificent black stallion, which he would treat with pride. Of course, once arriving at the palace, he would be sure that the stallion had only the best.
Though as he walked into the throne room, his suspicions only mounted. Walking tall, with pride, and his wings held in a way that suggested his once high ranking in the heavenly armies, he walked with his group. He would not bow, not yet at any rate. He would first know what the king needed him for.
"We have come, upon your request. Though it held no specifics for what you need us for. I, without any disrespect, ask you tell us now."

David was just a young mage,11 I might add,but VERY powerful,he could summon a fireball that roasted a 5 mile radius!! The kid was just roaming when bandits appeared, the kid didn't even look and let out a roasting fire spell so strong that its heatwave reached the castle
(Excuse me Brady. Please read the first post and contact me to see if you're eligible to join)
Brac held his head high and had his back straight as a board as he walked into the throne room. Being a former commander of the black legion. Brac was no stranger to Emperor's and kings, his discipline never faltered either.
"I'm still groggy and slightly hungover from yesterday, so try to explain slowly please."
However Bracs lack of respect for kings and his liking of drink has not changed either.

The king looked at the two distastefully and sighed waving at the man in heavy White armor.
The man walked forward and bowed respectfully in greeting. "I am Grand Paladin Harbinger. Leader of the 6th holy order. You were summoned here in hopes you could aid us in the coming war with the kingdom of Veltroia. The leader of said kingdom is a reasonable man and one not so quick to go to war...but the leader of his military is a different Ilk. We believe he may be trying to summon Terrible monsters for his army. My scouts claim sightings of Imps and other demonic creatures. We hope to employ you to offer tactical advice or battle for us if these claims are true"

Brac crossed his arms and looked at the Paladin his brow tight against his eyes.
"If demonic forced are being used the best thing to give your men is iron weapons."
Brac then rubbed his brow in annoyance.
"This general should learn what he's using and stop before he loses control."

Logan could't help but raise and eyebrow at the revelation. Using demons to fight a war? He had heard of it before, but it usually took someone with great power to do so. The black winged man crossed his arms, and walked over to a window. There he would stare out at the horizon in deep thought.
"It takes more then just iron to kill a demon, my friend."
He said in a low tone, being an angel, he know this all to well.
"It takes much, much more."

"I've never had a problem just using iron."
Brac reached behind his head for the handle of his blade, pulling the blade from it's sheath he rested the blade on the ground in front of him. It was much too big to be called a sword, massive, thick, and far too rough. Indeed it was like a heap of raw iron
"Granted no normal man can wield such a blade. You're not wrong however we need something much more to combat an army of hell spawn."

The paladin nodded, "Besides the kings mighty army. We also have The Holy Order Of Gwyn. At his disposal. A true legion of holy warriors. Each faithful and blessed by the Sun God" he says then gestured to the woman by the king. "Allow my to introduce Ravva. Leader of 5th Arcanum Mage Guild" he says and gestures for her to approach.
*Jay is ready whenever you need/want her in ^^*
"Greetings," Ravva speaks gently but not in a whisper, offering a warm smile to them. "It is a pleasure to meet you and I believe I will be able to assist you in the time to come."
She was ridiculously bored, dangerously bored. All this waiting around for some kind of order from the old man made her restless. The game of Kings and Queens never interested her. Who cares who wins and who looses? It was all about who had the most gold in her eyes, stolen or not.
She sat outside the castle, shifting her weight on to one foot and the other. By know she had memorized when the guards made their rounds. Every hour or such they switched positions, a couple passing her by every so often. She'd never face any one in that heavy of armor head on, that much was for sure. But her curiosity perked at wondering if she could slip past them. That, she could probably do.
She heaved herself onto a ledge of the castle, in awe of how easy it was to slip past them, in all honesty. The old man should really beef up his security or things could get messy.
The only door at this area of the castle, she knew was locked, but no door is locked enough for her. The footsteps of the guards hit her ears and she slipped into the shadow of the castle until they passed by, and unlocked the door with ease.
She slipped into the castle with a chuckle.

Something caught Bracs attention his pupils dilated and hears twitched searching for something.
"Pardon me Ravva but where is your restroom? I need it quickly."
Brac said quietly not wishing to draw more attention to himself.

She stretched, feeling rather relaxed in the castle she broke into. She slipped out of the door and into the castle hallways with ease, slightly humming to herself as she looked at the intricate designs on the castle walls. Which room would have the best loot, she wondered.
Brac grew impatient waiting for Ravva so he set off down one of the many halls of the castle searching for something. He was interested by the unique tapestries and paintings that decorated the hall.
