Summer had been at the park playing with her imagren friend Juilet, but she soon tried herself out. She was placed in a foster home but no one paid any attention to the demon child. When everyone was gone and the night had come, Summer woke up to the cold. She was in a pretty red summer dress with a straw hat on her head. She walked around in the park, looking for someone. When she found no one, she sat down on the ground as her eyes watered up with tears. "Mommy? Daddy? Where are you?" She called out in the night, her voice breaking at Daddy. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she realized that it was dark and she had no parents. She heard an owl hooting in the night. She was still crying and looking around franticly for somewhere to hide till day.

Nearby, a young fox was in a similar situation. Her master, an insane, homicidal man named Doc, had been separated from her and now she had no idea where to go.
Having been raised by Doc, she had no fear of humans and she even had a collar around her neck with her name as well as a picture of a bullet engraved into the tag, but had no idea how to survive in the wild.
Keera howled woefully, then upon hearing a humans cries, she peeked out of her hiding place in the bushes and upon seeing Summer, ran to her, glad to see someone. She whimpered eagerly and rubbed up against her in hopes that this tiny human would help her.

Summer jumped slightly, surprised to see the small fox come to her when she cried. She looked at the fox for a few moments the tears still streaming down her eyes as she gently patted the fox's head. She looked at the fox's collar to see what it's name was. "Keera...?" She said, the tears began to slow down and then just prick the coners of her eyes. She petted the small fox heistantly, to see if it was wild or not.

Keera Whined a bit and nudged her head into the friendly hand, longing for a gentle touch. She looked up at Summer with big, sad eyes and tried crawling into her lap.

Summer let Keera crawl into her lap and petted the small fox gently. She smiled upon making a new friend with an animal. She hugged the small fox before countining to pet her.

Keera whined sadly again and cuddled close to Summer, glad to have found a friendly human, almost Like Doc in a way, minus the insanity and homicidal tendencies of course.

Summer was happy to actually get some affection, which was something that she didn't get very much even though she was a child. She coutined to pet Keera, glad to see a animal so friendly and up beat to see another person. She yawned, small tears whelming up at the coners of her eyes.

Keera stood up on her hindlegs and placed her paws on Summer's chest then began licking her cheeks, her big bushy tail wagging as she did so.
When Keera's tongue bought the salty tear, she jerked back in surprise, having never experienced such a thing in her time with Doc, but quickly went back to her friendly licks.

Summer giggled happily as Keera licked her face, then hugged the furry fox. "Sweet fox." She said as she let go of the fox. She heard footsteps and looked around to see who it was. She might be a child but her senses were stronger than an adult human so she could hear the slightest sounds with ease. She couldn't tell who it was but the dark shape was male was all Summer could tell.

Keera sniffed the air, hoping it was Doc, but alas, it was not her gas masked owner and she whimpered and curled into a ball in Summer's arms.
