"I know." Nicolas kept his gaze on the ground.

Niran snuck a glance over at him he was pretty hot and he looked nice enough, but how did she know he wasn't going to use her.

Nicolas still kept his gaze on the ground. He normally didn't feel like this around any kind of woman so why was he feeling this now?

Niran shook her head No, he wouldn't use me. She continued to walk in silence.

Nicolas sighed." If it makes things more uneasy, just ignore that I said it." He rubbed the back of his head.

"Why should I ignore what you said?" Niran looked over at him and smiled "I think I like you too."

Nicolas looked up, his cheeks almost scarlet." Well that's a first."

"What someone liking you?" Niran asked her cheeks a little rosy.

Nicolas nodded.

Niran smiled "Well I hope I'm a good "first"."

Nicolas smiled." How can you not be?"

Niran raised a brow "Are you kidding me,you saw what happens when I get pissed."

"Then I'll try not to tick you off."

Niran smiled "You can try, I'll try my best to stay calm."

Nicolas chuckled." Good."

Niran giggled as they came back to the small clearing where they left Nero.

Nero was still in the same position.
Nicolas shook his head." He sure can hold a grudge."

Niran giggled "Poor Nero, does he not like time-out." she teased.

Nero didn't answer.
"I still don't know why I chose him as a partner." Nicolas chuckled.

Niran shrugged "That was your choice n ot mine."
