Zinc sat at the base of a tree. He twirled a thin silver chain between his fings. The chain had a shadow like wolf charm at the end and he had wanted to give it to Charna but was to afraid.

"Zinc?" She didn't see the charm for she was only a few meters from him.

Zinc clenched his fist around the necklace. "Yeah? Is there something wrong with Niran?"

"No. I just wanted to talk to you."

"Have a seat its acctually quite comfy." He smiled still clutching the necklace tightly.

Charna sat beside him." I'm sorry. I have a little problem with my emotions and....expressing myself to others."

"Thats okay Charna."

"I wanted to say....that I like you."

"Are you sure? Or are you just saying that because you feel sorry for me?"

"No...I really do like you."

"What took you so long to say that?" he unclenched his fist slightly.

"I tend to keep my thoughts to myself. I don't ususally say anything about my feelings."

"Good, your not alone." He handed her the small wolf charm that was attached to a silver chain. "I'd m uch rather show my feelings." He smiled.

Charna smiled and took the charm carefully." Thank you!" She hugged him.

Zinc's eyes widened in surprise, but he hugged her back.

Charna pulled away, blushing." Sorry."
(Sure)

"Don't apologize, I like being hugged." He smiled softly.

Niran was laying in a patch of grass, one hand on her round stomach.
