Dadj fell to the floor. He had hit his head on the wall in his descent and he now rubbed the growing lump. He tried to right himself, but his arm was slowly repositioning itself from the obvious break it had just had. He looked around the room for his assailant. The woman had seemingly dispersed into the dark corners of the inn's room. The Ranger got to his feet, still on edge and walked to collect his weapons; a longbow and quiver as well as two short swords.
His arm was corrected and healed by the time he had armed himself.

A light chuckle was heard behind him.
"...Quite clumsy aren't you?" The voice asked, careening with a sickeningly sweet tone.
If Dadj were to turn, a woman stood, deep crimson eyes looking over him, red horns protruding from underneath a curtain of
long ebony hair. She wore just enough to barely cover, and little was left to the imagination.
"...You're not going to get all defensive on poor little me are you...? I'm not armed you know. I thought a man would know better."

A man might. The Ranger did not. Or at least he did not care. He took a swing at the woman with his short sword and followed immediately by the second, which he thought made contact. Holding the blades before him, he advanced toward her.
"What do you want with me, woman?" It was his fault for letting his guard down and giving into temptation.

The woman chuckled, easily dodging the first, only getting a small cut from the second.
"Plenty of things. How good or bad really depends on your behavior from this point forward..." She smiled sweetly, moving in a quick motion behind the other and wrapping her arms around his waist speaking against the back of his neck, "So why don't you put those down and play nice?"

"Because I don't know the meaning of nice," at which point the ranger reversed his blades and plunged then deep into his own gut and subsequently through her own. "Now, assuming you can still speak as I gather your kind are quite good at; Speak."
He backed against the wall so she might have a hard time escaping.

The woman seemed impressed, but not that phased. "Hm. You're strong. Cunning as well." She seemed rather relaxed.
"It's been awhile since anyone has managed to do this much damage to me." She said calmly.
"...Now, I was merely going to either feed off you, alike to a vampire would, though, please do not compare me to those creatures,
or drain some of your energy for my own use. As many demons of my caliber do." She closed her eyes,
"And for such an impressive performance, I'll tell you my name. I am Zika."
She was quiet sighing a bit, "Though it seems like you were a bad choice of target at this rate. I'm going to lose more blood than I would have even gained tonight..."

"You don't want my blood." He turned and removed the blades form his gut, the hole bled slightly before stitching themselves back together. "It will taste like your grandparents." He cleaned his weapons and took the time to actually look at his adversary. She was quite alluring and he could see how he might have given into his human urges.
Zika smiled a bit, leaning against the wall, holding her stomach, "Immortal it seems hm?" She closed her eyes.
She chuckled a bit, letting herself slide to the floor, "Fucking hell. I can't believe I didn't see that coming."
Zika exhaled slowly, "You're lucky I'm tired. My animalistic side wouldn't care what you tasted like."

A cool smile spread his lips an exposed his white teeth. He wore a white poet's shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows underneath a brown leather tunic. His patchwork leather breeches were tucked into knee-high laced boots. He fingered the holes which now ruined his tunic and his eyes glinted. "You don't mind eating relatives?"
Zika laughed at his comment. "Never tried. And I don't usually 'eat' people. Just blood." She relaxed.
"Your attire tells me you are or used to be a fighter of some sort." She noted, looking to his weapons, and slowly
forced herself to her feet, "...Hah... I would be pissed at you, but it would be useless to waste energy attacking you."
(Darnit, i keep posting as Aurako by accident.)

"So you're smart and beautiful. Hnn." He grunted and tossed his belts with the sword sheaths on the bed in the room. He didn't think he would be needing them again. "I am what was once known as a Ranger and yes, a fighter of sorts. You, of course, are a demon. But are you of Hell, the Abyss or Earth?"
Zika smirked, "If you say so." She relaxed, watching him toss his belts and sword sheaths on the bed, feeling a bit more relaxed.
She wouldn't have a damn chance against someone who instantly healed. What was the point?
She looked to him, "Underworld. Hell I suppose. Originally anyways, long story." She said simply.
Her crimson eyes examined him further. Despite being a demon, her eyes seemed to betray her every thought, the crimson not cold and emotionless like most demons. She seemed to be curious, and wary.

"Abyssal, before you ask. Or at least, the second soul of mine is." He sat lazily in the wooden chair by the nightstand. He rested one leg on top of the other, his ankle resting on his knee and steeped his fingers. He reached for a previously poured glass of wine. It had sat untouched since before their scuffle. He sipped it now while watching her, his honey-colored eyes seemed to be made of liquid and they washed over her in intrigue.
Zika nodded in understanding, relaxing it seemed. Or recovering. It was hard to tell really as she remained so calm wether the injury really bothered her due to her nature of refusing to show pain.
"You seem like an interesting one. Probably why I picked you out of a crowd."

"Probably why I let you." He finished his glass of wine and started to unlace his boots. "The room is paid for, we may as well get comfortable here. Or at least, I will. You can do what you want." He tossed his boots aside.
Zika just closed her eyes, "...Mm. Thanks I guess, I'm not moving for a little though." She said simply.
"You have fun there. By the time you wake up, I'll probably be gone. You're too much effort for a simple feeding."
She exhaled slowly. "And as much as you're interesting, if I don't end up feeding on someone in the next 24 hours thanks to your little stunt, no damn way this wound is going to heal."

He pushed himself out of the chair and crouched next to her before sitting himself. He rested his elbows on his knees. "What kind of feeding do you need?" His curling locks covered his face from the side.
"If it's not kind of obvious, I feed off blood. Occasionally energy of people..." Zika kept her eyes closed.
"It's what keeps me from reverting to my animalistic state, and I don't want to be like that again."
She opened her eyes, "...I don't... want to be like that ever again." She mumbled.

He regarded her in silence for long moments. There were parts of certain centruries he couldn't quite remember due to a madness he had been overcome by. After moments of thought. He held out his wrist.
"You may partake. For something in return, of course."
"You may partake. For something in return, of course."
Zika glanced to him, looking uneasy. She examined his expression, trying to look for any signs of malicious intent.
"...What do you want...?"
