It's been nearly two hundred years since the end of the first genocide, the great war that resulted in the deaths of countless humans and non-humans. Millions of innocent lives were taken in the name of a holy crusade against the demons, the very beings that typically helped mankind. After the war ended, a lasting anti-human sentiment implanted itself in the minds of the surviving demons and their future generations, especially within the arthropod demon species.

While the war may be done and over with, demons throughout the world have banded together in small armies in throughout the world and have begun to rebel against the humans that have left them out in the wild, with rumors spreading that the Genocide is making a comeback, claiming that the violent and prejudiced nation of Betelgeuse has risen again in their quest of world domination. The nation with a dark past is lead by King Kendrys Morales with no one to stop his conquest, he wishes to rid the world of the inhuman creatures that lay waste to the world that has been made perfect by the gods.

Two centuries ago, the first King of Betelgeuse attempted to take the world as a trophy by swallowing the smaller nations that laid in his path of destruction, including the original nation of Cepheis. As they fought their way throughout the world, they laid waste to the many villages that housed the inhuman creatures that this man so despised, being worshiped like a god within the then tiny nation of Betelgeuse, his people followed along with this bloody war. Ironically, this was the last time that the Spirit of Darkness had risen. His rise to the world had brought upon a dark time that engulfed the world of Majoria in a hateful flame. Without the light from the Good Lady, even those who were considered to be saints had begun revealing their own deceitful lights hiding within their cold hearts.

Two centuries later and the Deceitful One has risen once again, his hatred spreading like a disease. The holiest of priests had seemingly begun sponsoring this destructive battle. Thanks to the close ties between Betelgeuse and Canis Majoris, the violent giant had a powerful ally. As the world is engulfed by this familiar, hateful flame, the humans of the world rise up against the inhuman beasts they claim to have dirtied the world Azure gave them. All of this violence and hatred was met with a blessing in the form of the revived Spirit of Light thanks to those that were capable of resisting the shadows surrounding their once peaceful world. Now that the fabled Spirits of Morality have risen, the world has fallen into a moralistic crisis in which its very survival is dependent on the outcome of this climactic battle.

Where do you stand? Will you rise up with the Good Lady and purge the evil that plagues Majoria or will you side with the Hateful One and clog up the intoxicating light that threatens the very existence of that hatred you love so much?

The outcome of the world rests solely on your morals. Rise up for the cause and help your allies in the greatest crisis Majoria has ever witnessed.

As explained within the plot, this RP will be taking place within a wartime setting in a world that is comparable to a more industrialized Skyrim; dragons, magic, demons, and similar fantasy tropes exist within the world, though technology like trains, early guns, early phones and radios, early automobiles, and the use of electricity is common. Since we are in a fantasy world, I really don't care what your race is, be it furry, anthro, human, demon, whatever. Just realize the roles that non-human and human characters play; unless your non-human originates from Cepheis or Tirithill, they are going to have a hard time and will experience discrimination, so be warned. Romance is a definitely a possibility for the RP, but don't let it take over the purpose of the plot, since it is not the end goal of the plot. I'd request that posts remain no shorter than a single paragraph. Decent grammar, spelling, and punctuation are greatly appreciated. I'm not expecting you to be some perfect English college professor, but just please make an effort. Any other questions? Just shoot me a PM.
