I've been curious to talk comics with people, mainly DC, and have been wondering what everyone's favorite heroes are in the DC universe. Mine have always been the Flash (Wally West), the Question, and Captain Marvel (AKA Shazam, AKA Billy Batson). Who are yours?
Jack Knight Starman is one of my all time favorite DC Heroes. James Robinson's run on that series was fantastic.
John Constantine is always awesome.
Well written Wonder Woman is glorious, although she'd often written badly. The same can be said for Batman and Superman.
Tim Drake is a fantastic character as is Terry McGinnis.

I totally forgot about John Constantine, who is probably my favorite magic user. Doctor Fate and Zantana are cool, but I like Constantine's darker aspect.
I absolutely love Tim and Terry. I always felt like Damian should not have come around, mainly because he has so few redeeming qualities. He's just too arrogant for me. I'll admit that Tim and Jason are my favorites, but Terry is a close third for me.
Wonder Woman is iffy for me, mainly because her changing origin stories mess with me. I like her World War aspect the most I think, but that's just me. I thought that the live action movie for her was rather well done, with just a few times where I cringed, the biggest being the death of Steve Trevor. Gah!
I also meant to include Young Justice's version of Superboy. I like the concept of a heavy hitting but limited version that has to make use of tactics and superior combat training aside from over use of powers. Nice picks though!
I always loved JLU's Wally West aside from how underpowered they made him up until he beat Lex/Brainiac down. The nice guy next door attitude he had towards others added something to his character that most of the others didn't seem to have.
I love the Question because Batman himself has admitted to him being a better detective in terms of actual investigation. I do wish JLU showcased his combat skills better, considering that Question has stalemated Shiva before, but JLU had Green Arrow best him down.
I liked Captain Marvel because he seemed like a better Superman to me. Supes started out okay, but lately his character has become extremely arrogant, and Captain Marvel seems like a callback to the boy scout nature Supes used to have.
Does Red Hood count? Because Red Hood.
I'm one of those Edge-Lords, I apologize.

Raven.
Raven is the best.
Raven is the best.
I'm a cookie cutter fan... although I do have some oddball ones.
Barry Allen's Flash (of course), Batman, Cyborg, Diana (WW). I used to like the Arrow... when it was a cartoon illustration of him. The live action version kind of mitigated that. We all know what happened on Lian Yu, but the cartoon version is just so much more jovial. He leaves the brooding and overly-melodramatic motif to Bats. I suppose a reason for this is because in the cartoon version they (the Justice League) members seem a bit older. After all, many of them have understudies (ala Young Justice).
As far as the oddball ones:
The Question, Dog Welder, Power Girl, Captain Marvel (he's adorable!), and the Atom.
Villians... come on... The Joker, Harley Quinn, Grodd, The Riddler, Scarecrow, and Lex Luthor.
Notable mention: Blue Beetle, Raven, Starfire, and anyone in the Doom Patrol.
Un-notable mention (ala characters I can't stand): Superman, Robin, and ... that's it.

I have to ask... Which Robin? Dick? Jason? Tim? Damian? Or Stephanie?
Batman, the flash(Barry Allen), green arrow those are my favorites
I've always liked Wally more than Barry. Barry is cool, don't get me wrong, but I like Wally's nature a bit more.

Definitely Grayson... Oddly enough, I don't mind him as Nightwing. Damian was annoying... actually I forgot about him. He was talented, but, like Wally, he was foolhardy and didn't like listening to his mentor... At least Wally is funny about it. Damian is just a primadonna. I actually don't know much about Staphanie's Robin.
Edit: Damian was a FAR more annoying Robin than Grayson imo.
Edit 2: I prefer his second iteration as well. I like anti-heros. The only thing I remember about Tim was when the Joker gassed him and he was, for like one episode, Jokerified.
So to me, Tim was the best Robin (despite technically being the Red Robin and not actually Robin) and Dick was the second best. Jason was pretty much a rehash of Dick, and Damian was just...bleh. Stephanie was a unique Robin in the Batman versus Superman comic and animated movie.
What you remember about Tim is actually him being captured, tortured, and brainwashed into thinking that he is Joker's and Harley's son, which eventually ends with him shooting and killing the Joker until things pop back up in Batman Beyond, where Terry has to battle Joker after Tim having been turned into him. Again this ends with the Joker being killed off and Tim alright in the hospital, but yeah.
Wally is less foolhardy than people think. Orion says it best in the JLU episode featuring Flash, Batman, and himself; "You act a fool to hide a warrior's pain." Wally is admittedly the least mature among the members of the JLA, but that mainly comes from his attitude. Wally is the only one that isn't either rich, royalty, an alien, or military. He's literally a "guy next door" turned superhero. And we see that in a lot of iterations, he's even made underpowered to fit that, up until we see him use his Infinite Mass Punch on Luthoriac and then get sucked briefly into the Speedforce. I'll concede that Barry is more mature, but even Barry has police history as a forensic scientist.
Tl;dr Wally isn't really foolish but just far more normal than the rest of the JLA in terms of attitude.
