"Ever since you were little, you've known about soulmates and how they work. As soon as you are born, you are connected to your soulmate through a magical bond. If your soulmate gets harmed, the effects will show up on you and vice versa. You went through your life normally, though something... strange started occurring that pertained to your soulmate. You started getting bruises, cuts, and sometimes even scars from your soulmate, though none of the scars seemed to be from self-harm. You started to grow a bit concerned, wondering where your soulmate could be getting these injuries from when all of a sudden they just... stopped. Concerned, you went on a search for this soulmate of yours and eventually managed to find her. A shy girl named Carrie. However, getting her to talk to you, much less open up about those injuries is going to be a challenge as it seems she's closed her heart off a long time ago. Will you stick with your soulmate and find out how those scars came to be or will you just leave her behind?"
Heyo! So, I had seen this cool idea of soulmates sharing the same injuries and thought that it could make for an interesting rp with Carrie here with what has gone on in her life. (Yes, she is based off of the song in her character themes, yes I'm a country music geek, don't judge me!)
So, a few notes:
Setting: Can be any time period and place. Fantasy-ish setting. Yes, I know Carrie's bio says she was born and raised in Oklahoma, but I like to keep my options open.
Plot: This little blurb is all I have for plot. I like to just get the rp started and see where it goes, but if you want, we can discuss some plot details beforehand.
Drama: Tons. I. Love. Drama. Ic drama that is! (Ooc drama is a bit of a different story) I don't know what it is, but I just love to see what happens with different dramatic situations
Grammar: Please try to have good grammar. I'm no grammar Nazi, but I would like to be able to understand what my partner is trying to say
Post length: At least enough for me to give a response to. A paragraph is preferred, though I understand if you can't always write that much.
Character types I'm looking for: Preferably human-like, though they can be non-human. I would also greatly prefer this to be MxF.
Smut?: No. We will have to ftb, sorry. For one, this is the general lfrp forum and if there was a possibility of smut it would be in the adults only forum and another thing, I am only 17, so I am underage.
Times I post: Sporadic. I have school and homework, so responses will be slow. I do try to post at least once a day. If I don't reply right away, please don't send me messages bugging me about it! It kills my enjoyment of the rp

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
