((Hello, one and all. This is GrandFinale, and I would like to introduce you all to my RP: Shrouded within Darkness. The story is that my character, Alphanus, has returned to the world of the living after his last great battle thousands of years ago, where, as you can guess, he had lost. His return has been heralded by years of mysterious natural disasters such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, which no one has been able to explain. Some of the higher mystics have sensed an enormous dark force is behind this, but that have not been able to conclude just what that force is. The skies have darkened, nearly obscuring the Sun's light. Many believe that this is Armageddon. In order to put an end to this madness, several brave souls must find this evil being that currently rests beneath the earth, and destroy it. Unknown to anyone, that creature is Alphanus, building his strength to be able to break the seals placed on him after that fateful battle thousands of years ago, and return to the surface. That's where you guys come in, naturally - you must find him and destroy him again. It will be a long, arduous journey, with many things standing in your way. Prepare yourselves, mentally and physically, for this epic adventure into the darkest reaches of corruption and evil.

I will need at least 5 characters for this RP, but I will take more. I don't care if the characters are full-blown good or borderline evil, as long as they wish to keep the universe alive. My character, obviously, will act as the main antagonist.

EDIT: I've got some music for you. Treat major battles here as Boss Battles, even bigger battles as Major Boss Battles, and the battle with Alphanus himself will be the Final Boss Battle. Any other fights will be random encounters.

((If you need periphery characters that gather information, then you probably need Aeth. Aeth wouldn't be a main character on the quest, though, and you might have trouble convincing it to help. Lemme know if you want it to have a cameo for you guys at any point.))
