You've awoken in a strange place; a place completely unfamiliar to you. Darkness and blinding lights are in unimaginable swirls and dim stars are dotted in strange places. A feminine figure hovers abnormally before you, staring directly at you and the others around the vicinity. A sleek, silver needle like object is in her hand as the feminine figure spoke, her voice low and with an echo like touch.

"I'm quite sorry to disturb your stories, my chosen few, but I'll be in need of new characters for this tale to start and end. And, I believe this one will be the one heard throughout the Realm of Chronicles for all to hear."

A man named Kino Onstone was simple man with a profession of hunting. He woke up on this strange place that he did't see before in his whole life. He thought to himself that he is dreaming until he saw a feminine figure in front of him. He was startle that he move back a little.

He ask her "Who are you? and where am I?"

The cervitaur looked around her.
"Typical. It's always me."

This certainly wasn't good.

Callahan was enjoying a nice day off, when all of a sudden, he felt dizzy. Needless to say, it was a bit frustrating, since he had only gotten a free day once every few months.

Now he opens his eyes to find himself in a strange place. The paladin sat up, and noticed that there are others here. He didn't know whether to be relieved or not. Callahan soon glanced up to find a woman floating above them. His eyes were fixated on her as she spoke of 'characters' and 'telling a tale'. It was confusing, yes, but albeit, just the slightest bit intriguing.

"Excuse me, my fair lady?" Callahan began. "You speak as though you have much power. And this.... 'Realm of Chronicles', I'm not familiar with the term."

The woman would impossibly grab an empty paged book from the air, that had a beautiful gold trim and excellent silver color, and opened it. There would be only a single blank page visible on the book as the figure would press the silver, needle like object on the page. She'd write a few starting words to the page, before moving away the object. She'd keep the book opened in one hand, and the needle like object in the other as she began to speak once more, ignoring what people were saying at the moment.

"This is where your new story shall begin, my chosen few," the woman stated, making one of her hands circle the strange vicinity. "And I shall explain to you all, in due time, as to why you are in the position you are in now. But, now is not the time for that." Using the needle object, she'd begin to shape three images into the air. An image of the entire realm from before, what's remaining of the realm, and the image of a winged man. "The Realm of Chronicles is in grave danger, I'm afraid," she'd say, after finishing constructing the images. "And destiny has decided that you are the ones who will save the realm. So, I have brought you here, in this part of time and space."

The pegasus' blue eyes fluttered open only to find herself in a new world. Not in her bed, where she last remembered herself. In an instant she was on her hooves, looking around franticly.

She asked loudly, before seeing the floating female. What was she, Violet had never seen a bipedal creature like her, and the others around her.

" I dont understand? I hate to be rude but Im just a simple hunter by profession in a Nomad Tribe. Why chose me a simple man like me?"

"I'll tell you why! It's their way to turn normal people into soldiers!"

" I didn't sign up for this?! this must be a mistake"

The woman would turn to Kino and responded, "Because destiny believes that you could save this realm from the danger it is facing." The woman would look at everyone else in the area. "The same goes to all of you," she said, as she began to write in the book once more. "Now, this is not exactly the time to constantly ask questions." She'd point the needle object at the three drawn images. "This first image was the entire Realm of Chronicles. However, it isn't as big as before, now." The needle would move by itself to the second image, with the same looks as the first one, but some areas were faded. "The faded areas you see on this image is what's gone." A massive portion of the image was faded in the south area, and only a small amount was faded in the east area.

Kino shut his mouth and start listening to her wish.

She'd give a short sigh, her gaze meeting the third image as the needle pointed to it. "The man you see on this image," she began, "is only known as the Alter Wielder." The woman would hesitate for a moment, before continuing. "No one knows much about him," she explained. "...Not even I know anymore.." the woman would murmur to herself.

" So is he...the the villain we must stop? or just a dude that you just wanna introduce?"

The violet pegasus asked, taking to the air to be able to be at the other's eye level. As she was rather small. She pointed a hoof at herself.

She'd nod at Kino. "The Alter Wielder has been erasing parts of the realm, and terminating the stories of others." She'd flinch for a moment at something, before continuing, her voice pacing a little bit faster. "He's been doing this for a while now. At first, it was minor, until everything went in chaos." She'd look at her empty hand and muttered, "And he's ruining the realm by improperly using the Pencil of Forgotten Fates.."

"Woah woah woah, fight some guy that other's have failed to do or what?"

"Wait...does this realm connected to the real world?"

"Many have challenged the Alter Wielder," Miss Narrator murmured, flinching against as it seemed as something crumbled. "Of course, they were no match for him. He wields that damned item.." Her fists clenched for a slight moment, before she'd breathe calmly. "And, this realm is supposedly your world," she'd interject in. "And all of you live in different parts of it, like we designed it to be."

Violet seemed to be the only one rearing to go at this moment. But then again, she was used to 'world ending enemies' as there seemed to be one every other day back in equestria. She was ready to be one of the ponies to save the world this time.

"Hold up, don't underestimate someone you don't even know yet."
