Acelle is a continent that once existed on the Earth between the continents of Africa and Australia further south toward the Antarctic. Before the snows melted and the land was washed away and became a part of the oceans floor. This is the tale of what might have been were Acelle to still have survived and yet be out of the eye of man. Where only the animals roam.

Yet there remains a constant threat of discovery. Of being found out for mankind has always had a way of finding what was once hidden and taking it away from others, even mankind itself.

There are those who seek to be discovered. Those who want to find the way to be discovered so they can use it to gain power. And those who will do all that is within their means to hide the key to outside discovery so that the creatures that roam Acelle will be free from the threat of mankind even if there are dangers that still lurk.

Please follow the usual roleplay guidelines. Fade out as this is for all audiences.

Gray Wolf Pack Concept: Niflheim Pack

Æsir = Alpha
Frigg (Female Alpha) Tarantella WindFlare
Odin (Male Alpha)

Vanir = Beta: There can only be one beta per territory claimed by Niflheim.
Jarl
Jarl
Jarl

Jötnar = Renowned Warriors:
Herse - there is only one beneath each Jarl. A Herse must always have a Merkismathr. Especially during battle.
Merkismathr - there is only one beneath each Herse. A Merkismathr must always have a Herse. Especially during battle. The Merkismathr is usually younger than the Herse and the two may be more than comrades or friends for it is deemed by the Aesir and Vanir that the two must share a den and never be far from the other. It is perhaps rather intimate though they can each have their own separate mate.
Huskarl - The Huskarl is chosen by the Herse and Merkismathr as a top warrior with the approval of their Jarl.

Svartalfheim = Warriors
Thegn - The Thegn make up the majority of the warriors numbers. They have experience and have seen battle whether against a predator or against other wolves. That or they’ve had extensive training via sparring often. To obtain a position within the Thegn one must have had at least five spars and won at least once.
Dreng - The Dreng are the young rookie warriors who have little to no experience. As young as a year old. Warriors remain under the Dreng title until they’ve finished their five spars and one at least one of them. Once they have done so they need only seek out their Jarl or one of the Aesir.

Ljósálfar =
Mimir - Oracle. There is only ever one Oracle and is chosen by the leading she-wolf or a descendant thereof for it is believed only they can see the true potential of an oracle. To be a Mimir means to be pure and therefore the Mimir may not take a mate or breed. Unless a younger new Mimir has been found to take their place, but first the current Mimir must train the young one in the ways of a Mimir for at least a year. It is seen as blasphemy and treason if a Mimir goes against the oath they made to remain pure. For it is believed that only the pure can see.
Skald - Each Jarl competes with the other as well as their leaders for Skalds. Or at least the number of them. For it is believed that the more Skald one has the more blessed they are. The Skald is considerable to a bard telling stories and reciting poems and recording and telling the history of their people.
Ráðninga - Healers. There is only one per Jarl and one for the Aesir. Allowing up to four healers in the pack should it grow large enough to sustain so many.

Nidavellir
Frimager - Hunters
Karl - Farmer/Herbologist
Fri-hall - Fishers

Hrímthursar = Denizens/Citizens

Niflungar = Omega
There is only ever one Omega in Niflheim. They are the weakest adult, but that weakness does not necessitate them being physically weak, but their personality may make them so. Although they are far from aggressive they are the type to nurture others by just being there and instigate play when tensions are high. Due to their submissive nature it helps the more aggressive of the pack to calm down.

Eldjötnar = The young
Kinder = Pups up to 6 months. They are kept safe at all costs. They are watched by their parents or a pup-sitter. They often sit in on tales and history told by Skalds.
Frostrar = Pups 7 months to 15 months. They begin learning more about each position within the pack. A member of the Aesir or Vanir chooses whom to pair them up with or group with to learn be it hunting or something else.
Svein = Yearlings 16 months to 24 months. They should have chosen a path to take and should be apprenticing under one or two adults.

Hel = slaves, prisoners, lawbreakers, terrorists, traitors
Thrall
Logan Zack Weber (played anonymously)

((I would like to take the Dire wolf pack leader if this is still open. I've been planning on making a new character along the lines of a wolf anyways and this offers the perfect opportunity.))
