Are you talking about in the inbox view, the column that used to show the picture of the person who last responded? It doesn't work that way anymore: https://www.rprepository.com/community/newspost.php?post=573 Look under "Updates to private messages"
I preferred it the other way. Thought it was a glitch at first too.
I preferred it the other way as well. It was much easier, especially at a glance on mobile and for 1x1 RP's. Perhaps this should be an option in settings?
Yeah, same. I felt like seeing who the last to reply helped me keep track of which RPs I had replied to. With the new way I keep thinking that I somehow forgot to reply or my reply didn't go through even though I know I did and that it did go through. Now don't get me wrong, the new way is a very interesting thing to do and I can see the usefulness of it, but perhaps there is a different way of going about this? I can think of 3 different things.
1) Make it an option between the old way and new way. (Least amount of work I'm assuming.)
2) Maybe making the new way an addition to the old way's format. (Would be a bit cluttered though...)
3) Perhaps making the new way a hover pop-up over the old way. Like hover over the last to reply and the participants list pops up until you move away. (Most interesting way, but also a tad of a challenge for mobile...)
Idk, just some thoughts I had...

EDIT: WHOOPS meant to post this reply somewhere else, but it's related to this topic, so here's the link: https://www.rprepository.com/community/forumthread.php?t=47239&p=1#3846027
