Kettu's tiny little mound was decorated to the nines, with things she though appropriated for this momentous occasion. The entrance was strung with tiny orange lights she'd taken from someone else's yard, as well as a freshly procured jack-o-lantern, with an appropriately foxy face carved into it. She'd also littered her doorstep with the bones of her last three meals, she'd even left them bloody for effect.
Oh, how she loved this time of year, you see, being a demon, of the fox variety, she had a love for two things over all else. Trick, and Sweets. What joy it was, to have one night a year, where she could have both, to her hearts content. She waited not-so- patiently for the first person to approach her home, sitting just out of sight, with a large, half eaten bowl of candy to her side. It had been meant for the people who showed up of course, but she was struggling with her self control.

Laine, curious as always, had spotted the lights from afar. "Let's take a look, shall we?" He approached the site, which now appeared to be a small mound into an animal's home. Seeing all the decorations, he realized this must be an intelligent creature, all set up for the helloween event. He smiled. "Trick or Treat!" he simply yelled.
Kettu was so excited. Her first Trick or Treater! She would happily give him both. She peered carefully around the edge of the mouth of her den, likely giving him, the slightest vision of a small woman with fox ears, and a wicked grin pasted upon her wide freckled face.
She looked the man over once, and then her body would begin to contort, into a likeness of the man himself, though, as she did not know him, it would not be perfect, proportions would be off, and of course the hair would stay red. The face was a little melty as well, but hey... it was Halloween. Scarier was better!
She stepped out of the den, a morbid copy of the man now in front of her, and held the half eaten bucket of candy out to him. He would likely have to search through the candy wrappers, to find a piece for himself.

Laine was startled for a moment, then laughed loudly. "Amazing! I've never seen someone do that before!" He patted... erh... himself? on the shoulder and took some candy from the bucket. How'd you do that?
There was a twinkle in her/his eye when she answered. "Merely a trick." She was not likely to give real answers, unless of course, he asked her very specific questions. She could not tell falsehoods, but that didn't mean she couldn't skirt around his questions. She was a demon after all, they weren't known for being open with information.
"Are you dressed up mister?"
"Are you dressed up mister?"
"I am not, excuse me. I didn't know it was halloween until earlier this morning!" he scratched the back of his head. "Living in a cave in the woods will do that to ya!"
She shrugged, didn't matter to her. "So then your hair is naturally funny?"
"Hey there!" Laine called out, "What's so funny about my hair?"
The odd copy of the man himself put a hand over it's mouth and let out a girly giggle. There was nothing wrong with his hair, she simply delighted in a trick of any sort. The feeling to her was a thrilling one.
"And don't make me... ehh, I mean... my double... Giggle like that!" Laine couldn't help but smile despite himself.
