I catch a slight glimpse of Gabriel's wings. "Ok maybe he's onto something" I sat as I change direction and follow. I arrive and confront Gabriel "So what's up?"
Lance saw the flash of the wings, letting out a sigh, he muttered to himself "I guess we better regroup." Before making his way towards Gabriel, looking around the city.
He walked down several of the streets, listening to different people, eavesdropping on others. This city is a lot stranger than I first imagined. So many people in one place, not even the Albirion has this many people. He thought, laughing a bit. He continued making his way to the others, keeping an eye out for the Faerie.
He took a quick glance up, looking at the stars in an area that wasn't as bright as the others. "What the hell? Are they just vanishing? Can't be, well as long as the moon, if there is a moon here I won't be as defenseless." Eventually Lance made his way to the park, letting out a sigh of relief. "Let me guess, no luck finding the Faerie?"

The lime green haired girl suddenly realized it was far too dark, even for a light up city. Her eyes wandered to the sky. There's no stars! she realized. That's when she knew something was seriously wrong. She didn't even see a moon. The townspeople didn't seem too worried. She trained her neck to look up at the sky, every time she saw the faint glimmer of a star, it disappeared. She frowned, and considered this. Maybe it had something to do with Artemis and Astraea. Were they okay?
After a few moments, the Faerie shook her head, escaping the state she had been in from before. "That was.. Not real.. I hope," she told herself, her lip quivering. Ta Mila looked up and noticed that the stars had disappeared from sight. "What in the..? What happened?"
Ta Mila looked around her, and sighed with relief. The Faerie left the crowd, and wandered off, taking a right turn and coming upon a few street shops. She'd start to notice that less people were around, and some of the lights from before had turned off. Nevertheless, Ta Mila continued on, every now and then ducking into cover.
But, she couldn't stop thinking about what she saw.

I walk around looking at the sky while thinking to myself "I wish I hadn't left my guns behind. This would be a lot easier with them."
After wandering the streets for a while, she came across a small group of people. They seemed like locals. "Excuse me, where am I?" She asked, adding a nervous chuckle to the end.
The man who Dawn assumed to be the leader of the small group chuckled. "Yer not frum 'round here, are ya?" He asked, spitting when he spoke.
The girl shook her head. "No, I'm not. If you could just tell me where I am, that'd be awesome." She said, getting slightly frustrated. Obviously she wasn't from around herex or she wouldn't be asking!

Ta Mila kept wandering through the sidewalk, taking note of the faint trail of green her wings were now leaving behind.
"I need to rest.. After I find a decent spot to take cover in."
The Faerie yawned, taking a few turns to the left, until coming upon what seemed like a bar. Ta Mila waited for a moment, until a local opened the large door. As the local stepped in, Ta Mila quickly zipped in, as the door closed behind her.
The bar was crowded as the Faerie flew at the ceiling. There were a few open spots visible in the wood, and Ta Mila flew over to one of them. Yawning again, Ta Mila laid down in the gap, and slowly drifted in a rather fine slumber.

She followed Ta Mila into the bar and asked for some food." What do you have to eat at this establishment?"

Gabriel shook his head. "I just about lost all of you." He replied, motioning to the huge city all around them. "I would guess she would probably be tired after a light like that, but I have no idea if she would actually stop to rest or not." He went on. He gave a sigh, with the stars disappearing, the could take to much time worrying about where she was. There were problems much larger at hand. And gassing by what stars were vanishing, it was headed towards them.
After some minutes flew by, Ta Mila's eyes fluttered open. The Faerie sat up, and rubbed her eyes from tiredness. She'd flutter her wings, making sure that they weren't so tired.
Ta Mila looked down, and noticed that her faint trail was still visible on the ground. She'd sigh and looked at her wings, which seemed to have lost a little bit of power in them.
I need to relax still, if I want to fly again. I seemed to have damaged my wings while I was flying. After all, I haven't flown so fast, and in such a long length.
Ta Mila let her wings droop down, as she looked down at the crowded bar. There were people passed out, drunk, or merely chatting. The Faerie took off her hat, and zoned off for a moment.

"So did you notice it too? The stars, one by one they are just vanishing. The stars are considered a blessing from our Gods in my world, so their disappearance is very concerning to me." Lance drifted his gaze to the sky.
He thought I could try and use a flare to call the others, but that could draw some unwanted attention, but do we have a choice?
"Hey Gabriel, I could try and signal everyone else to the park. If I shot one round into the air, everyone within the city could see it easily, but that might be bad to draw attention of that scale to us."

"With what I think is happening, drawing the attention of the city's people would be the least of our concerns."
He said as he watched yet another star wink out of existence, leaving a lengthening trail of darkness in the skies above. HE then looked to Lance, his eyes showing both fear and determination.
"Give it a go, we need to regroup, and fast. We need to figure out what to do, to at least deter her from this world so we have more time to get ready."

Ta Mila would look out the window of the bar. The sky was rather dark, and the Faerie couldn't see anymore stars from her viewpoint. "Weird.." Ta Mila murmured, "There should still be stars out in a night sky like this." She'd put her hat back on, and blinked.
The Faerie looked away from the window, and hovered down, a trail still following behind her. She'd fly out of the bar when the next local opened the door, and noticed how the street was now strangely.. empty. The Faerie flew higher into the air, and flew beside the open lights of the buildings, as the trail would now manage to be seen quite easily.
Ta Mila took a right turn, and froze in place for a moment, as across from her was the park.
"Shoot."

Lance nodded, drawing one of his pistols, it radiated a red aura as he shot a bright red light into the sky, high enough to be seen throughout the city.
"There, that flare should stay in the air for about five to ten minutes, surely that will be enough time." He said, looking at the flare. As long as I still have access to my Ichor supply I should be fine to blast this much magic off all night He thought.

As the flare was shot, the Faerie turned back and flew off; taking a different turn and reaching a less empty street. She'd fly down to the shoulder height and wandered north, hoping she could reach the exit of the city now.
She looks out the window and sees a flare in the sky."dang," as she runs outside and to the place where he flare came from."hey," as she stops in front of Lance.
I stare at the flare for a moment then I look at batwoman. Then my A.I. wakes up "John, do you have any weapons?" "No" I reply. "Well if we can find a pawnshop we could get some kind of guns to help defend ourselves...wherever we are." She says and I walk off to search the city for a pawn shop.
Dawn flinched when she heard a gunshot, as she turned around she saw a streak of red light shoot into the air, and then hover there. "That can't be good." She said, and ran towards the red light. She felt pretty weak without any weapons. Maybe she could fashion one, to make do for now. As she was running, Dawn took a minute to think this out. Each star was like a sun. Did that mean their sun was going to go out? She coimsidered what life would be like without the sun. It would be butter cold, everything would die. It would be pitch black, no light at all.
Ta Mila kept flying through the city, looking for a rather safe exit out of the city. The area started to get her unsettled, and the Faerie needed the comfort of a less industrial like setting. She would attempt to retrace her path to the entrance Ta Mila came from, while trying to find a way to stop the trail following her.
As she flew around, Ta Mila felt like she smelled the stench of blood somewhere. The Faerie shook her head, and kept on going forward. That was just me getting paranoid. That wasn't actual blood I was scenting, Ta Mila thought to herself, as the Faerie noticed that there were rarely any stars in the sky now. Her hand rested on her blade's handle, as Ta Mila's wings decided to stop functioning for a while.
"Ack!"

((Hey there! Since I just applied / got accepted, how should I hop in? Assume Pallas was with the group the whole time, or maybe he opened his letter late or something and wound up in the room by himself and then follows the flare when he goes outside maybe?))
