Freya fixed her skirt, before walking towards the popular pub. She had finally finished drying off, and gotten dressed,
and the siren was ready to go and find a bite. Not that she was eating any of the food they served. She much preferred the actual guests. With a slight smirk, she pushed open the door, her heels clicking on the hard wood floor as she walked to the bar, taking a seat. It was well lit, and pretty cozy, even if it was filled with drunks, and the like.

((hey, hope you don't mind me sliding up in here :^]))
He stood at the front door of the pub, staring at the doors with some fear in his eyes. Usually he stayed away from bars and alcohol alike, but this visit wasn't for him; someone from the team asked to pick up a bottle of champagne for a party they were throwing later. Syn reached into the pocket of his jacket and fished around in it. He pulled out his fake ID and checked it one last time. Seeing as there were no mistakes on it, he sucked up his fears and headed inside.
Arriving inside, he scanned the area. Questionable patrons, threatening people, and some rather drab decor. Everything he expected from a place like this.
He walked towards the bar and sat down on a stool. Syn kept his eyes downcast, avoiding any sort of eye contact from anyone. For a moment or two, he sat in silence before the bartender came to him.
"What'll you have?" The bartender asked.
"You have any full bottles of champagne?" Syn inquired.
The bartender gave a nod. He bent down to check behind the counter. As he did so, Syn tapped the counter, slightly anxious.

// Not at all.
Freya looked up at the sound of someone entering the establishment, taking a break from her glass of red wine. Her green eyes travelled over the stranger, curious as to who they were. They certainly seemed... Intriguing enough.
"Hey there, Tiger. First time you've come here?"
The siren purred, smiling at the male. Her long, crimson red fingernail dragged over the table, and her eyes glimmered playfully.

....So much for avoiding social interaction.
Syn sighed as he glanced at the woman, silently criticizing her. Then he averted his gaze and rested his chin on his hand.
"....Do you not have anything better to do than bother me?" He questioned, tone laced with an icy chill.

Freya tutted quietly, still keep the playful mood around. She wasn't one to easily be deterred. Especially not when she was bored, like this. Recently, the siren had been in the market for a new plaything, as she tended to... Go through them fast.
"No need to be like that. Just trying to be friendly."
She adjusted her dark red miniskirt, putting on an obviously fake pout. Completely sober. But she wasn't here to sit around and play chess.
"Last time I checked, it wasn't a crime."

"Last time I checked, it wasn't a crime."
Syn scowled. 'Friendly' was his most hated term of all time. It was just an excuse for people to approach him, then after that it usually went one of two ways. One, they'd make fun of him. Two, they'd label him as an outcast.
"But with me, it is a crime." He hissed, turning to her. "Stop talking to me." With that, he turned away once more.
Now he really wished the bartender would hurry up with that bottle he asked for so he could just leave already.

Freya was a little taken aback by this stranger's reactions, how bitter he seemed to be. Honestly, she had just thought that he looked interesting, and she had wanted to talk to him. His hair was such a lovely color, too...
"Oh, is it? Perhaps you should've made me aware of that, dearie." She said, frowning slightly.
She adjusted herself a little, hoping that her slightly showy outfit would keep him around.

Syn let out a scoff. "Maybe I should've." Then, as if right on que, the bartender had returned with a bag in his hands. He placed it on the table.
"Got our best one for you."
Syn looked up. "How much?" He asked, pulling out his wallet.
"250--" Syn cut him off when he put down three hundred dollar bills. He picked up the bag and promptly got up from the seat. He gave an icy, wayward glare to the woman.
"Keep the change." With that, Syn started towards the door.

Freya crossed her arms, frustrated. As a siren, she was used to people falling under her spell... Well, instantly. And this was proving to be a challenge.
But this particular siren happened to like challenges.
Without another word, she had payed for her drink, and gotten up, walking after him. She wasn't giving up, not just yet.
"Well, despite the fact that you are by far one of the most rudest people I have ever met, how would you feel about another chat?"

Just when he thought he was home free, the pest decides to rear her ugly face once more. Syn had nothing more to say to her.
He only rolled his eyes. "Move." Was all he told her.

She glared at him for a moment, before pulling out a piece of paper, and scrawling a number on it. She tossed it to him, before pushing the door open, and was about to storm out.
"Just in case you revise that little law." She said with an icy look, before striding out of the establishment,
Looks like she was heading home early, she thought, as she walked down the streets, and towards the large lake that bordered the town. Once she had reached it, she stripped down, and stowed her clothes in a bag, before diving into the water.
"Home sweet home..."

When she threw him the paper, Syn almost froze it right then and there. Though he hesitated. Then he stuffed it in his pocket, and headed outside a few moments after she had. He was relieved that was over at least. Syn went to deliver the champagne bottle; after, was a time for work.
The following day, he was out and about once more. He wasn't doing anything in particular, but he was just out for a walk. Better than doing nothing.
The following day, he was out and about once more. He wasn't doing anything in particular, but he was just out for a walk. Better than doing nothing.
Most of the current day had been uneventful. Having races with a few of the kids she had to babysit was fine and all that, but she much would have preferred if that guy from last night had called her up. Still, it wasn't like she had anything to do. With a sigh, she swam over to the dock, and pulled herself out of the water.
After she had dried off, and gotten dressed, though her hair was still wet, she started walking through the more or less deserted streets, looking for some form of entertainment.

A little while into his walk, he caught something familiar from the corner of his eye. A flash of dark hair. Upon further inspection, he recognized it to be the woman from last night. Syn bit his lip. Now he walked a little faster as he lowered his head, hoping she wouldn't see him.
....Though that would be a bit difficult to pull of. His silver hair always made him stick out like a sore thumb. Not to mention, there were not many people around to hide behind, as the streets were rather empty on this rather dreary day.

A sore thumb indeed. Accustomed to finding the light in dark spots of the lake she inhabited, her eyes were immediately drawn to Syn's hair. In a moment, her pace was sped up, intent on speaking to him.
While he hadn't exactly reacted well last night, she was hoping that she could wear him down a bit. At least to the point where they could have a conversation.

He slowed down a bit, thinking that he was safe for now.
Boy, was he wrong. When he glanced up once more, he saw that she was coming right towards him at a rather quick pace. Nowhere to run. Now would be a good idea to stand his ground, and at least attempt to scare her off or something.
Syn only stood there and waited for her to come into earshot.

Good, he was standing around. He must have seen her coming.
Freya reached him, and smiled slightly, positioning herself so she could comfortably speak to him, without needing to lean back on anything.
"Hi, Tiger."

He only glared at her, gaze filled with disdain and irritation.
"What do you want?" Syn almost growled in a low tone.

"Well, I see you haven't learned any manners overnight." She tutted, shaking her head.
"I wanted to talk. But, it's obvious that Danny Phantom here doesn't."
She rolled her eyes.

She rolled her eyes.
He relaxed ever so slightly. Danny Phantom wasn't the worst of the names; in fact, it was a lot better than most of the names he had been called before. For now, he decided to play along--albeit, it was a painful decision for him.
"....What did you want to talk about?" Syn inquired, narrowing his eyes a bit.
