"What do you want to talk about?"

She raised an eyebrow, her more... Frustrated mood slipping away for the time being. Honestly, his hair wasn't that bad at all. Freya had just assumed that he'd dyed it.

He refused the urge to scowl. "I never wanted to talk to you in the first place." Syn told her, brow raising.

"So....Is that all? ....Yes? ....Good. Bye then." He promptly turned away without waiting for an answer, and began to walk off.

Great. Freya scowled, and crossed her arms, tapping her foot in frustration. She wasn't used to this sort of treatment,
that was apparent. She would definitely have to wear him down- Right now, he wouldn't even talk to her.

"See you around, Marvel wannabe..." She grumbled, turning on her heel, and storming off.

Her dress seemed to reflect her mood, spraying out in an almost angry way.

That was easier than he expected. Syn was anticipating her to persist, but clearly she knew that he wanted nothing to do with her. Not to mention, she kept staring at his hair. Everyone stared at his hair, though; all to the point where it got annoying.

He decided to head home for today.

At least she had a reason. It wasn't like she saw too many people with practically luminescent hair walking around the streets. She sighed, and pulled off her shoes, dipping her feet in the water.

"Of course he has to be frustrating."

Now he needed a change of scenery. He was real tired of people staring at him while he was walking. So Syn made a detour. He had time before his next mission. About an hour or so to be exact.

Soon he found a small lake. It seemed quiet enough, as well as empty. Good. Syn made his way to the shore and squatted. Slowly, he reached his hand towards the water and dipped his fingers in, swishing the water around.

....Boredom makes you do strange things.

//No, I don't.

And stupid ones. Especially given the inhabitants of this lake.

Freya sighed, having been interrupted midway through changing by the stir in the water. She finished, and started swimming up, to see what idiot had decided to bother everyone today.

Syn paused. Was he going crazy? He could've sworn that he caught a glimpse of something that was coming up to the surface. He leaned in closer. There was something.

....A shadow.

It better not be an alligator. Those were pretty scary.

She waited under the water for a moment, knowing that some people actually managed to notice her shadow when she came to see who was bothering her.

And then, she jumped up, grabbing his hand.

In the immediate moment, he prepared himself for something dangerous. He was ready to flash freeze whatever danger came to him.

When his hand was grabbed, flinched. He began to freeze the other's hand as a reflex.

"What the fu-"

The curse started to fly out of her mouth as her hand started to freeze, quickly swimming to hold onto the nearby dock, and examine it, before shooting a murderous glare at the male.

"You god damn asshole!" She growled.

Syn rubbed his hand, returning her glare with one of his own. "You're the one who scared me! I mean--Who even g-grabs someone's hand like that?! You don't do that! Especially not to me!"

Then he turned away and bit his lip, continuing to rub his hand. As he did so, he muttered something unintelligible under his breath.

"Especially to you? What the hell does that mean?! You're the idiot sticking his hand into the water!"

She screeched at him, moving so her tail wasn't too obvious, unless you actually looked where her legs would be.

"And you froze my HAND!!"

He let out some sort of noise that was similar to a growl. "Those were my instincts! A reflex! You were ambushing me, and I wasn't doing anything wrong!" He hissed in response.

Then his gaze fell to her hand that he had frozen almost solid. Syn bit his lip and stayed silent for a moment or two. "....And I was going to unfreeze that for you, but seeing you scream at me hardly helps your cause."

She glared at him, but swam over to him, and held out her frozen hand.

"Fine, thaw it already. And anyways, in case you've forgotten, there's kind of a no magic rule in places like this.

She grumbled, letting out a sigh. Still... He just froze her hand.

Wait, he froze her hand?

He reached out and touched her hand. The ice on it began to melt away, and soon, it turned into water. Then he pulled his hand away.

"It's done." Syn promptly pulled out his phone, checking the time. Then he stood up. Without another word, he turned, and began to walk away.

She rubbed her hand, and stared at him.

"Why did you even come here?" She asked, narrowing her eyes.

She submerged herself a little more in the water, everything from her collarbones and up was the only things visible.

He halted, stopping dead in his tracks. Syn considered ignoring her for a few moments. But soon, he only glanced back at her.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" He said. "....I was only killing time. Seemed like no one was around, so I came. Guess I need another place to lounge." Syn paused and waited around for a moment, then he started to continue on his way.

"Lounge isn't the word I'd use for this lake..."

She murmured, flicking some water at him as she swam out a bit. Maybe she could try and get him in the water. Might be fun. Why kill him straight away? Playing with him would be more fun.

"Not that'd you know."
