Jason shook his head "No, nothing like that."
"Hmmm..." Casey said with closed lips. "It must be the cold weather that caused you to lose feeling in your leg. Once the weather warm up I'm sure you'll be fine."
Jason nodded "I hope so."
Casey nodded and sat back down then looked at Dave. "Please tell me I'm not the only one that is unharmed."
Jason glanced at him "He looks fine to me."
"I'm fine, don't worry about it."
"See told you." Jason smirked at Casey.
Casey nodded. "Okay, let's all get some sleep because it is growing darker."
"I'll take watch." Dave offered. "I'm not that sleepy anyway."
"I'll stay with you." Jason offered "I'm not very tired either."
Casey sighed. "No, both of you go to sleep, I'll take the first watch and wake you up in a couple of hours. You both can't stay up at the same time so let's just take turns."
Jason shrugged "Okay whatever, but I'm still not tired."
Dave shrugged and nodded. "Allright, as you wish." He took out a small blanket from his bag and spread it out on the ground. He laid himself on it, his back turned to the others.
"Good night, Jason, Dave." She turned her back toward them as she sat up, watching the door for anyone that might come in.
Jason sat in a corner and leaned his head against a wall closing his eyes he slowly drifted asleep.
Casey kept up through the night, always watching for any signs of someone else coming.
Jason woke the next morning and saw that Casey was still keeping watch "Why didn't you wake either of us?"
Casey simply shrugged. "Guess I forgot. Oh well, can't be helped now."
"The hell you didn't." Dave was awake as well now. "you didn't do it because you didn't want to."
Casey shrugged. "What does it matter? It is a losst cause now, so no use in bitting my head off about it." She stood up, streched and yawned. While she yawned, tears formed at the coners of her eyes. She quickly wiped them away.
