Yep. Just about any chance I have to jot down a sentence or two.

It's like that annoying co-worker who appears around the corner and doesn't go away, but then you don't want them to go away because they've just showed up with gourmet cupcakes from your fav bakery.

Where was I going with this again?

Oh yeah, so why must the RP bug be taunting me while I'm supposed to be working?

I relate to this so much, except with school. I'm not typing sentences though, I'm typing paragraphs lol. I need to do my work to prepare for this thing where I present a project to the community (which includes a senator and our mayor that usually come) I can't be doing this right now, but it's so much fun.

Then again it's lunch right now so its basically free time.

Funny thing is my job (for the most part) is creative since I work as a commercial artist (i.e. "ad man") but writing is more or less to take care of the creative overflow or just off-loading thoughts/ideas.

Oh, that's awesome, and I can see why RP would be beneficial to that as well. and Yeah, I imagine you write a sentence at a time because if your boss found out you'd get in trouble right?

So yeah, usually I have a lot of ideas circulating in my head and it needs to be released or there could be a mess at my desk. And it won't be pretty

Argh, yep. It's sometimes difficult to focus when you have the perfect idea for a post burbling around in your head and you just want to get a few words down.

Yeah, which is why I usually have Google Docs open and bullet pointing ideas as they surface, or writing a paragraph of a scene before it disappeared from memory.

Oh, that's not a bad idea! I feel like I've got so muchwork to do at work that I rarely have time to switch gears... But maybe I'll try that next time I'm desperate to take a break! Google.docs feels far less intrusive than an actual RP site.

I'd be kind of mortified if my boss found out that I was RPing, least of which at work! This hobby is not the sort that would be well understood, I think.

I work in retail and having my phone with me on the floor is a major no-no. The bonus however lies in when I get scheduled for the slow areas, mainly the jewelry counter. Receipt paper and a pen go a loooong way and it's quiet delightful. Provides a nice escape in a stressful environment. I even wrote my vows in that exact situation!

6 replies a night at my job from my phone, I even bought a keyboard to do it. Though, I'm a security guard with literally nothing better to do.
