I myself am partial to redemption stories, prophecies, and best friends to lovers romances. As well as high school based comedies with lots of slapstick.

Dark horror with a subtle touch of comedy that is equally gritty, awfully contradictory characters(example: priest that is actually a psychopathic murderer), corrupted utopian government plots(points if the setting is under the science fiction genre).....


Those are my main ones currently. They tend to change with my mood.

EDIT: Throw in post apocalyptic plots that DO NOT require zombies.
