I guess it's not so much of an issue of which one am I going to buy, period, but more like which one am I to buy first.
I've had the two boiled down to two general pros, both of which sound extremely appealing, and I still can't decide in spite of this.
Witcher 3- A lot more content in general (So I've been told, I figure this means it's rather long story-wise, there are lots of side quests, contracts, beast hunts etc, and many different weapons and armors to collect and unlock), it has a decent fighting system that serves the purpose of the game, and is generally agreed among my friends that it's much better than the first two, which is cool.
NieR:Automata- Very unique in its premise and setup. I've seen small gameplay bits and some of the funnier moments (The romeos and juliets play, notably), and it's a consensus among those I've talked about it to who know the game, that the fighting system is far more in-depth and interesting than the system in Witcher 3, but it's 'not' as long (my friend tells me that they extend the length of the game by having you replay the story with two other characters besides the first, which I don't see an issue with necessarily if it means I get to try out new weapons and movesets that I couldn't have used before).
Which one do you guys think I should get (first)?
