She held him tightly in her arms. A large shadow blocked the moonlight and the nightsky.

Carden noticed the shadow. It was a human shadow. Slowly he turned around and saw his dad standing there.”Dad?!” He said so surprised.”Hello Carden. I’m ready to kill you. Are you ready to die?” his dad asked. Carden pushed Becca behind him with one arm bringing the two of them back.

Battledrums of Rebecca sounded.

Carden turned to Becca.”Becca run. Run far.” He said seriously. He turned back to his dad.”Are you ready to lose?” Carden asked his dad. His eyes now a dark steaming red.

She shook her head, she were ready to die with him.

Carden made the first move attacking his dad. He surprisingly was faster than his dad. When his dad was weak but strong enough to walk away he did so.”I’ll be back for you.” He said. Carden breathing heavily turned to Becca. He had cuts and bruises all over him.

Rebecca flipped her shit "That's it?!" She yelled through her hands

Carden shrugged. He started limping off to the nurses office. His ankle was hurting him.

She followed him even though she hated the nurses office.

Carden walked.”Knock knock. I have a busted ankle and I think I’m the most beat up I can be.” He said sitting on the papered thing.

"Ok and?" The nurse grunted

Carden glared at the nurse.”Listen. Just because your life was miserable doesn’t mean you have the right to make others feel bad. So shutup and help me out here.” He said grunting like the nurse copying her.

"Drink this" She handed hom a bottle of dark red liquid, a major health potion.

Carden took the potion. He put the bottle down on the table.”Thank you and have a wonderful day.” He said walking out.

Hector ran through the halls, screaming "EVERYBODY, WE ARE EVACUATING THE SCHOOL! A GIANT MONSTER IS ATTACKING THE SCHOOL! RUN!!!"

“Monster?” Carden asked looking behind them.

The whole school were chaos, students and teachers ran towards exits, fleeing impending death. Rebecca wouldn't run, she walked out in the indoors greenery. Then a giant vulture crashed through the roof, plummeting into the greenery, where Rebecca were.

Carden ran and grabbed her. He tackled her down and got taken away by the bird.

She closed her eyes, and battledrums, and violins were playing at full might. Trees were ripped up from the ground, the floor began to crack under the great bird.

The bird had Carden pinned to the ground. Carden trying to escape couldn’t.
