Casey stood at the top of a tweny story building. She looked down at the ground below, and gulped. She took in a deep breath and stood on the very edge. A scream was heard form the people below and everyone turned to see Casey standing on the edge of the building. There where tears flowing down her cheeks.
"Listen to my cries. Listen to my pleds as I pray for a change. A change of heart. A change of past. I have suffered since the day I was brought into this cursed world. Hear me pray. Watch my death. My body, heart, mind, and soul have been altered form the younger ages of mine. I'm no longer human because of my own father. Let me show you what I am."
Casey began to shift into her Neko form. Long flowing carmel hair swam down her back as he eyes turned crinsom. She grew carmel brown stripes on her arms, legs, and cheeks. She kept her eyes on the people below.
"What you see now is just the beinginning of my change. I'm better known as a new breed of monster that is unknown to everyone and never spoken of in story books or in legends. I was once human, now I am this. And this is just the beinginning."
Casey shifted into her Spider form. Her hair shorten and her eyes turned black as the night sky above her. Lights flashed on her as she countined to change. She grew four extra arms and her skin turned to a earthy dark brown color, the same color as a brown recluse spider's skin.
"This is my last form. I was altered and my life was forever changed. Now, watch as I kill myself with my own venom."
Casey moved her wrist into her mouth, ready to bite herself, tears still flowing down her eyes. She had venom sipping from her fangs. She was about to bite herself when she heard something or someone call out over the corward but didn't hear what they said. "Pardon?"

Shawn was stood on the ledge besides her looking down at the crowd "oh man, that's a lot a people" he looked to his left to see her, a big goofy grin in his face "I'm sorry, you were in the middle of something" Shawn's wings were pressed against his back and folds beautifully. Ross petals fell from them and it didn't seem to stop.

"Family. I know it sucks but hey, you're different. So what!"

Casey moved her wrist away form her mouth to speak to the guy. "I'm tried of being different. I'm not accepted by monsters or humans. What is the point of it all?! No one cares about me anyways, I doubt my own funeral will have more than two people." She said into her spider form, her personality and actions being done by not her ture self, by her spider self.

"I would die for my family, but no one would die for me. I put everyone first, put my own problems at the end and help others. I'm sick of it all. No one cares, and no one will ever care as long as I life."

Shawn smiled to himself then sat on the ledge "well get over it, why should anyone even care. This is the real world" pointing at the crowd his voice seemed relaxed "they're hoping you don't poison yourself but they won't care afterwards, that's how the world works" a light wind blew his hair a little as he watched the crowd

His bat-like wings pressed up against his back "you think you have it bad? You ever meet a Celestial vampire?" Looking at her with his fangs out "well be lucky that you have now, but guess what, like you in the last one of my kind and a target for both vamps and werewolves" his fangs retreated back as he looked at her "for vampires and werewolves I'm a walking talking energy drink, all they got to do is get a sip of my blood and then they'll become powerful" even saying this, saying that he was being hunted by thousands or millions of vamps and werewolves with a smile really should put things into perspective for her "so, why are you sobbing for?.. Perk up"

Tears slowed somewhat as they were rolling down her cheeks. She shifted into her Neko form so that she could know what she was saying and doing. "Since most people don't know what I am or what kind of power I hold they hunt me for the knowledge and in hopes of more power. As far as I know, drinking my blood can make any wound heal, even bring a dead person back to life. As for my power..." She looked up at the stary night sky. "I don't even know how much power I withhold or how I act in my Spider form. It is all a mystery that I live. I never know who I am until someone else tells me what has happened. It's maddening not to know who I am." The cowrd began to sound less paniced, seeing that it looked less and less that this was going to be a suicide, but more as a change of heart.

"You're being hunted by people, I'm being hunted by vampires and werewolves. I don't care who's strong or who's weak I'm trying to get you to realise that the world is always against you no matter who or what you are Don't you get it!" His voice started to raise a little in his anger, she was pathetic to even try to commit suicide. "No one actually cares because eventually you will be forgotten... It's not someone else's job to look after you it's yours so don't be so stupid as to kill yourself because this is a cowards way out" he stood up onto the ledge "stuff the world that's what I say, take it head on. You don't need others because they sure to hell won't care if you did."

Some spectators broke off from the crowd as they felt like there was nothing to see.

Casey's lips curved into a smrik. "If you don't care about anyone then why are you trying to keep me form killing myself? I can understand that life is a bitch and the world makes it more like hell with every pasting day. I know that all too well, as do most people who have hatard in their hearts. But if you don't care about me or anyone, then why are you trying to change my mind? Explain that to me." She turned to face the guy, a little annoied but there was a change in her eyes. The glint of love and hope was fading form her crinsom eyes as she flicked her tail back and forth.

Shawn just shrugged then sat down onto the ledge "if you want to commit suicide go ahead, give these people their entertainment" looking up at her his eyes looked serious "I've been through worse things than you but I find the will to go on, that is what separates us from others... I'm here to try to get you to realise that the will to go on is in you, as it is in all of us but it's how strong you believe in yourself that counts..." Standing up and spreading his wings he looked into he sky "don't be stupid, remember... Give everyone the finger, you're free" Shawn's tone was soft, with a flap of his wings he was off into the sky flying around the building once before truly disappearing her sight.

Casey stared off where the guy had disappeared to then looked down at the ground. "I guess he is right... I need to learn to be stronger and to stop worrying about everyone else." She walked off the ledge and shifted back into her human form. "But now everyone knows what I am and it is going to get harder. Oh well, f**k what they think. I can't control what people think or say about me, it doesn't matter anyways. I stand alone now, I'm on my own forever more." She walked to the exit of the roof of the building. She saw a knew way of life, a new self of her. "Thank you." She whispered before leaving the roof top and heaing home.

Once Casey got home her mother hugged her tightly, crying. Her father however, never even noticed that Casey almost tried to kill herself. "Casey, please don't ever scary us like that." Her mother cried as her brother, Trevor came out of his room to greet his sister. Casey got her mother to let her go and hugged her brother as she saw tears flow down his cheeks. "I'm sorry, Trevor. I was having a moment of weakness. It will never happen again."

Jessie sat on the ledge of a window outside in her cat form. She looked in on a mother, daughter, and son. Earlier she had watched the daughter almost commit suicide until a boy saved her. Jessie's tail swayed back and forth as she listened to them speak. What the boy had said to talk the girl out of it, Jessie didn't know, but she wanted to know more about the girl and what her new out look on life was. Jessie was more curious then ever.

After Casey had finished talking with her brother and mother, she went to her bedroom. She put her jacket up and flopped down on the bed. She was tried out from her almost suicide attement but there seemed to be something that kept her up. She felt as if someone was watching her while she was with her mother and brother but she didn't know who and didn't want to worry her family about it. She sighed and pulled a baseball cap over her eyes.

Jessie's ear flicked as she watched the girl leave to another room. She jumped from the window seal she sat in and walked around the house. She peeked through windows as she passed them until she found the one that showed into Casey's room. Jessie jumped into the seal and sat in the corner. She tapped the window once with her paw lightly then jumped up on the window and meowed.

Casey jumped slightly when she heard a cat meow at her window. She went to her window and opened it up to let the cat in. She though it strange for a cat to randomly come to her window. She looked at the cat, watching it's movements to see what it does.

Jessie looked at Casey for a moment then jumped into her room. She sniffed the air for a moment then went to her human form. Jessie looked Casey up and down before saying a word. "I watched your attempt."

Casey seemed unfazed by the cat turning into a human girl. "I'm sure alot of people saw it. What about it?" She said with one eyebrow cocked upward as in a dicertion as to why the girl was telling Casey this.

"I want to know more. I want to know why it is you wanted to end everything. I want to know how that boy stopped you, your new out look," she paused for a moment, "I want to know what powers you contain." She looked Casey in the eyes as she spoke those words.

"Waita minute." Casey said, a little overwhelmed with all the suddent someone so intrest in her. "How about one question at a time would be better. I'll answer you, but please slow down so I can answer you properly. But first you have to tell me your name." Casey sat down on the bed, waiting for the girl's first question.

Jessie let out a small sigh. "My name is Jessie Hood." She sat down on the floor facing Casey. "What made you want to end everything," she asked, her head slightly tilted to the side. Her tail rested on the ground beside her, the tip of it twitching.

"Well, Jessie, I wanted to end my life because I believed it wasn't worth living. I had began to see that they people who I though cared about me saw me as nothing more than a puppet. I was also hunted all the time because I am a new breed of creature that is unknown to the world right now. My life had seemed as a endless void of pain and regert so I decided that it was best to leave it behind." Casey shrugged, as if it was no big deal anymore, which it wasn't. To Casey now, it was the past and she needed to get over it and move on.
